I have been a donut dip guy for my entire life. However, I'm from Southwick area after coming home from the casino. I decided to stop and check this place out for the second time in my lifetime but the first in the new reopening. I don't think I'm a snob but certainly a donut connoisseur lol and I love local businesses, but I'm always happy to give honest feedback regardless of my experience. But I am glad to say that from someone who has had everything from Krispy Kreme to independent donut shops across the country. These absolutely stand up, lol not to mention the fact that the staff was so incredible down to earth and funny. It was just a whole vibe. Excellent work I look forward to seeing you guys again soon. If you Google search "best donuts New England Mrs. Murphy's", you'll get plenty of hits. Mrs. Murphy's has been on my radar for years. I don't even remember how long. But I live about 45 minutes away, and its Southwick, MA location is not near anything I ever visit. I finally found time and visited this Sunday morning around 6:30 am. (It's funny how easy it is to find time that early). The shop has a country feel and family service vibe. I wouldn't be surprised if the shop looked basically the same 10 years ago. Or 20 years ago. 30 or even 40 years ago. It's old school, but clean and comfortable. I ordered about 7 different donuts, etc. The apple fritter was terrific. Checked all the boxes. Knobby texture with crispy parts on the outside. Fresh and soft inside. Plenty of apple pieces. Tasty glaze. A top tier apple fritter. I also tried the maple bacon donut. Very fresh. Tasty maple icing. Good bacon pieces. Another winner. I also ordered a Honey Dew, because I was told it's one of their signature donuts. It had a light glaze. It was very fresh, but I wouldn't order it again. Truthfully, I never order donuts like this. Just not my style. I thought I should try it since it's a signature. You may like it, if it's your style. My son loved his Boston Cream. A great place. A slice of history. Donuts that still hold up. 4.5 Stars

These Maple Bacon donuts are amazingly good!

Our first time trying Mrs. Murphy's Donuts! Both my husband and I were not disappointed! Best donuts I have had. I got the Maple Bacon donut, a combination of a pillowy donut with creamy maple frosting on top, with crumbled (real) bits of bacon. It was fabulous. My husband had a blueberry cake donut, which he really liked a lot. Service was quick and friendly, even though there was a line.

Stopped by early for morning donuts. I personally find the drive-thru setup they have to be extremely useful and easy. Drive in, drive out. They also accept credit cards now. I remember when the storefront was open, cash only. It's don't to watch the trays of donuts come out of the building and you know the freshest donuts are being packaged just for you. Fantastic. Keep it up, Mrs Murphy's!

The best donuts: Boston cream, chocolate covered, maple bacon, maple glazed, and glazed jelly stick - my personal favorite

Hands down, these are some of the best donuts in the world. I've been coming to Mrs Murphy's for over 25yrs and truthfully I don't want it to get any more popular because it's already got a steady line out the door every weekend, but they are simply too good not to share. Always soft, fresh, perfect sweetness, balanced and delicious. They've been a staple in Southwick for the locals and consistently wow me every time. Get there early, get a glazed jelly stick or maple bacon, you won't be disappointed.

Assorted dozen, only $1 each.

COVID-19 era review: since covid can't stop donut cravings, we finally made our way up here! Mrs. Murphy's cute donut shack is closed...but the generous parking lot has happily been turned into a drive-thru. It was a 20 minute wait in the long line of cars, so don't go ravenous if you can't get there early. Snap shot the dry-erase menu on the drive thru booth, and try to go early if you want apple fritters ("sold out by 7:30" said the kind lady taking our order) as she went but no worries, cinnamon donuts were a stellar down home substitute. 10:15 Sunday began a 20 minute wait, but a mixed half dozen was only $10 and change, and the donuts lived up to their glorious reputation. Airy raspberry jellies, lightly crusted cinnamon donuts, and chocolate glazed Boston Cream made this a worthy destination.

50 donuts of all variety, cake, yeast, special (butter crunch, filled, fruit loop, and my favorite- honey dip. These will run you about $90+ and you have to call ahead (Thursday for Sunday pick up). A novelty and a crowd pleaser for sure! Drive thru pick up works they'll load your car.

Small local spot that has a wide variety of large fantastic donuts and coffee/espresso offerings. In addition to their traditional donut flavors they also have some fun decorated donuts that are designed to look like they have faces on them. They also have a limited menu of additional pastry and food options as well. Additionally they have seating inside, and a small portion of the place is set up like a casual diner counter where you can sit order with a waitress. I am not sure if they are cash-only or not since they had an ATM inside, but I just paid with cash without asking about a credit card option. I opted to go for their honeydew donut and a latte. The donut was large and had a very good consistency, but I would have preferred a little more frosting as it was a little dry. It took a couple minutes for them to make my latte, as the person who took my order did not know how to work the espresso machine (...hmm...), but when it was prepared it was delicious. Additionally they had a lot of different flavors that I could add to my latte. I decided to go with a caramel flavor, but they added a little too much flavoring for my liking. 8/10

Best donuts I have ever had, the service is pretty quick, but sense Covid it is just a drive up service, no ambiance.

Great old fashion donuts. Always fresh and large than most other donut shops. They also have some unique flavors as well.

"Playin' in a travelin' band, yeah Well, I'm flyin' 'cross…read morethe land Tryin' to get a hand Playin' in a travelin' band" (Creedence Clearwater Revival) Just imagine travelling across the country in a food truck and inhaling the heady aromas of cinnamon buns all day. How about setting up shop in New York and New England in the fall and early winter then heading down south when the temperatures fall up here, but it's gorgeous in Florida. Welcome to the glorious world of the Cinnamon Bun Saloon. First of all, kudos to their staff, they were super cool, outgoing, and a joy to interact with. We caught up with them today when their food truck was parked at Coward Farms in Southwick, MA. They're short timers up there and will only be around December 12th, 13th, 14th, and 15th before rolling down to Florida. They travel a circuit, setting up for business at places like the Big E, Florida Strawberry Festival, Florida State Fair, Dutchess County Fair, Toppsfield Fair, Rochester Lilac Festival, NC State Fair, and the Fire Station on Tunxis Avenue in Bloomfield, CT. Their food menu includes a seasonal rotation of baked goodness such as Cinnamon Buns, Chocolate Covered Bananas, Chocolate Covered Cheesecake, Caramel Apples, Strawberry Shortcake, Eclairs, Cream Puffs. Their beverage menu includes Fruit Smoothies, Frozen Lemonade, Hot or Iced Coffee, Espresso, Lattes, Cappuccino, Frappuccinos, Coffee, Espresso, Latte, Cappuccino with tons of flavor options. We picked up four massive cinnamon buns for $26.34 after tax. Unless you are a marathon runner or a glutton, each one is easily shareable. They were so good! Fresh and soft with all the sticky gooey cinnamoney goodness you'd expect. A nice surprise was the vanilla icing, although delicious, was not overly sweet. So, if you can get your buns up to Southwick to get one of their buns before Sunday, you won't regret the trip. If not, catch them somewhere along their East Coast travels.

"You need bread, try the bakery You need lovin', look here,…read morebaby I got just what you need" (The Doors) Well, whatever your needs might be, you'll probably take care of it at Giuseppina's Italian Bakery, because they really do have it all. Their website, counters, shelves, and showcases offer you temptations everywhere you look. Want a pastry? What kind of a question is that....sure you do, so how on Earth are you going to choose between these? Cannoli, Tiramisu, 3 kinds of mousse, eclairs, frosted or plain brownies (are you bold enough to get a brownie with peanut butter buttercream frosting?), cream horns, rum rolls, an amazing peach concoction of sweet dough soaked with peach juice and rum and filled with vanilla pudding (!), Sfogliatelle, Zeppol, cream puffs, NY style cheesecake, fruit slices (peaches and strawberries with whipped cream layers and frosting), pasticiotti, cappuccino slices, Amaretto Squares, Limoncello Cake Slices and Chocolate Brownie Cake Slices. And there's more - miniature pastries, Cheese danish, apple, raspberry and blueberry turnovers, Cranberry Orange scones, blueberry scones, chive scones, and roasted red pepper scones, lemon and cherry squares. Get the picture? And I haven't mentioned their Italian cookies, 25 cake varieties, cupcakes, cake pops, pizza slices, sandwiches and stuffed breads. The truth is, this place is fantastic and is clearly in the top ten percent of Italian bakeries we've visited. We picked up an assortment of cake slices, a croissant, a scone, and a donut yesterday. They all looked amazing! We started off splitting that donut, and it was great -very light, not too sweet and just plain delicious. Shout out to the young lady who waited on us, she was pleasant and friendly, and our interaction was a far contrast to some of the less than favorable interactions reported by other Yelpers. PRO TIP 1) Don't worry about parking- they're in a shopping center with plenty of parking. 2) How good does their fig, prosciutto and Asiago cheese stuffed bread sound?
