The bagels here are fresh and delicious. I've had bagel sandwiches and plain bagels and find them all wonderful.

Happened upon this place while cruising on a beautiful, "top-down" day. Located in a small strip mall off 10/202. Opened in 1988, and why am I just discovering it (it's less than 20 miles away)? Busy place, but plenty of help, and they do a great job fulfilling orders. I opted for the "Nana" ...choice of chicken or tuna salad w lettuce, bacon, and tomato on a wrap or bagel. For me, they had me at rye. Ate outside on one of the two wrought iron tables. Perfectly made, even down to the "lightly toasted" that I requested. And generous amounts of bacon and chicken salad. Proverbial "hit the spot". Fancy Bagels also features 27 different bagels, all baked fresh daily. Additionally, 12 different flavored schmears, including cannoli! There will have to be another time. Not quite as good as Astoria Bagel, but that's 120 miles away plus the Triboro Bridge toll, no place to park, etc, etc. I'll take Fancy Bagels. 5 carraway stars read more

We placed an order through the app for a Fancy Veggie and a Blueberry French Toast bagel with cannoli cream cheese. The sandwich was not what we ordered. Had the wrong kind of cheese. Was missing the balsamic dressing. And for some reason there was guacamole on it which was not requested or included in the menu description of the sandwich. In addition, the order was not ready for about 15 minutes after the estimated pickup time given on the app. Really disappointing for a $10 bagel sandwich. The blueberry French toast bagel was good but I requested it toasted and I received it cold. read more

The wait staff is always extremely friendly and helpful - they always ask how you are and try to go above and beyond to help every time I stop in. One morning someone had taken my drink from my order on the pick up shelf and they were more than accommodating to make it again on the fly. They partner with another local bakery for delicious cinnamon rolls and they're huge! The place is always clean and tidy, especially around the coffee self serve station! read more

Stopped by as we were making our way home from big E the next day. This bagel place is a must try. They have so many unique cream cheese options, and bagel flavors. The bagels are soft and chewy like they should be. I got the Nana with chicken salad and it was fresh and the bacon was hot! The seating area is large, and the service was so friendly. If you can't get a NY bagel Fancy is a close second. Counter service is quick. Super clean. Line moves fast. Sandwiches also available for breakfast and lunch. read more

Place is cute and bagels are delicious! Prices are great but it's usually busy or gets busy quickly. Only complaint I have is that when I came here they forgot about my other order and when I asked them about it they said it got lost under the other orders and I had to wait a bit before they completed it. read more

Not a bad breakfast sandwich place. They were quick with my order. I order a bacon egg and cheese with egg over easy and an iced tea. I got my order a few minutes after. Noticed the egg was in fact not over easy... paid 14$ for sandwich and an iced tea. Was kind of privy and then left a two dollar tip on top. Wow! Fancy Bagels is amazing. From their bacon, egg, and cheese to plain cream cheese you can't go wrong. The best part is, the eggs are real and the bagels are TO DIE FOR! The bagels are so soft with a great amount of chew. Aside from the bagels, the Downeast coffee is phenomenal. HORRIBLE!!!!! I ordered a toasted onion bagel with cream cheese. Onion topping was burned to black, the cream cheese topping I chose was not used but I did get an old topping, service was petulant, really surly....so much for service with a smile. Third time coming here. Every time all out of desired bagel. Hash browns were burnt and covered in oil. Do NOT recommend.

Fancy Bagels in Southwick just opened; therefore, giving them a 3-star review. They need to get organized and work together more. Seemed like a few of the girls are working hard and there are others who simply stand there and complain; (A customer had ordered something off the internet menu; which apparently is a NO-NO for this location) when they should be helping their fellow co-workers get things done. . Bagels are good; would like to see more options such as a pizza bagel, sandwiches. They will need to step up their game if they are going to make it in Southwick. I don't mind paying the price of these fancy bagels as long as the service/options improve. read more

Wow, what a great stop yesterday at Fancy Bagels Southwick. Bacon, egg and cheese on double cheddar bagel was delicious and cooked perfectly so the cheddar on top was crisp and tasty, plus it was served ar just-right temperature. It was a bit of a wait given the crowd, but worth it. Friendly, efficient staff that were happy to have a crowd. Fun stop. read more
