I was planning on just buying a lottery ticket and leaving. The Female employe was stocking the shelves. I began to look at the Lottery tickets. The second I peered over the counter she was walking up on me from the side. She looked at me then said "Don't even think about it your not 18 and I'm not selling you a scratch ticket." I said Ok went out to my car grabbed my license then walked back in when I reentered I heard her sigh. She then went back to the register and took my ID and closely examined it I understand that it's the law. After her looking over my ID she said Fine your Bairly 18 what ticket do you want I asked her for the numbers as I only like to play my favorite numbers she told me them. Seeing my number wasn't there I decided to walk out before I got any more mad. I said ok thank you and then walked out the door as I was stepping outside she sighed again and said something under her breath I figured was probably a swear at me. I would Definitely recommend this place only when Karen isn't working

I have found the staff nothing but cordial and welcoming, the food good and the store itself a nice throwback, very similar to the one we used to have in the small town I live in. Pricing is very reasonable, when so many places are terribly overpriced for marginal food. My purchase today was a Nobs grinder, which is always tasty, a side of mac & cheese, a 1/2 pound block of their sharp cheddar, large bag of chips and a soda. Half the grinder and remaining mac & cheese will be lunch again tomorrow. I would say I got my money's worth for $31, and I will definitely be going back.
