Big E's Supermarket is a great grocery store located in Easthampton. The building itself is situated in the center of town, and we were amazed to see how many items this shop had on their shelves. The store was well organized with everything you would look for in a chain supermarket, and the nice thing about this store is the fact that they take pride in their goods. This store has a great bakery section as well as a solid wings bar. My other favorite part of the store is the meat section which has many different smoked meat items. This store also seems extremely community oriented which is great! The only issues was that their parking lot was a little tough to navigate, and as we were walking through we almost get hit by some people who didn't see us. It is just tight and people are in a hurry to get in and out.

    New ocean friendly produce bag

This is a great little supermarket with a great selection of food, wine and beer. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I want to give a shout out about their recent switch over to more ocean-friendly produce bags. Thank you Big E's for caring about our environment!

Great local shop. Very involved in the community. Awesome resource for quick trips and has a good selection for its size.

Small grocery store but still a really good selection, and decent prices (much better than Big Y down the road).

A fair bit surprised this business doesn't have more reviews. I haven't done a review in a long…read moretime but felt this would be a good reintroduction. Corsello Butcheria is located in a good spot in Easthampton - about 19 American Football fields away from the base of Mount Tom. Parking can be a bit scarce, but onstreet parking is available, as is parking in the municipal lot on Cottage street and some spots are usually available on Orchard and Chapel streets. Basically, this is a place to go buy meats. I like meats. They appear to source their meats locally and I do believe there's an emphasis on humane treatment/raising of the animals which give their bounty for sale at the shop. I do a lot of hardwood smoking, and being able to go to Corsello to get a real, legitimate local "boston butt"/pork shoulder FRESH makes a world of difference in comparison to the cryovac Hormel fare one would typically find at a supermarket. *side note- i hate cryovac pork. i feel like i need to open every window in the house when i cut open one of those packages*---Anyways.... It's also nice to be able to find things like local tri-tip, beef short ribs, flank steak, and a lot of curious items such as "liver treats" marketed toward "cats, dogs, and humans". It's refreshing to be able to walk into a place and see some chicken leg/thigh cuts and notice that they aren't the huge steroid-laden robochickens you typically find at chain stores for sale. The proportions of the bones/meat/fat look natural, as they're locally raised and slaughtered. In addition, they sell baguettes and stuff which are legit. I can't get real deal canned San Marzano tomatoes at Big Y for instance (poseurs), but I can get them here. They make solid meatballs, and truthfully the reason I go there more often than not is because their house-smoked hot italian sausage is awesome. I used to go to Outlook Farms for unsmoked-hot sausage (I often still do), but I more often than not find myself riding my bike down to Corsello for their hot sausage be it raw or smoked because it's closer to home and it's a neat personalized experience I guess you could say. I hate giving out 5 star reviews but I actually have nothing to bitch about with this place so 5 stars it gets. Also, Vincent and Kasey are cool people and their staff is always attentive when I walk in. They always seem to be cutting up meat in the window looking out to Cottage Street which looks rad to passerbys so yeah. 5/5.... begrudgingly. I hate perfect reviews.

We had an important function to oversee for 60 people. We decided to use the deli selections in your brochures. Rachel worked with us in making our various selections and when we arrived to pick-up our items they were ready and chilled in a shopping cart ready to purchase. The procedure went well, thanks in a large part to Rachel's assistance. In addition the quality and presentation of the Stop and Shop food items were quite good. Thank you Rachel and Stop and Shop

Haha In general, this place offers lots of brand name goods, so you can always find what you need. But the prices are way too high. To combat some of that, Stop & Shop offers a store brand for a decently lower price. Produce is usually fresh and they have a large organic section. The meats seem mostly safe and okay although I have yet to purchase that from them yet. Lots of check out lanes + self-check our options. The employees seem to be nice, but I haven't experienced much of interaction with them. TLDR; high prices, wide selection, decent (?) employees.

When I asked for a few pounds from a guy, the lady nearby raised her voice , yelling that the King Crab is selling for $9.99, not $7.99. I pointed out the sign, and the lady said she did not make the sign. She angrily repeated the same phrases three times, intimidating me like I don't understand English. She grabbed the sign and hid it to cover up the mistakes. They called the manager as I had done something wrong. Two managers came. Manager Rob professionally apologized for the mistakes. During the whole time the lady and the staff had an attitude problem. Not only did they try to cover up the mistakes, but they also treated the customers like idiots.

It was also convenient that I was also looking for anearby package store, and this one happened to be one of the ones in Massachusetts which sells liquor - and a nice inventory of it at that. The produce was very fresh, including the packaged tubs. Since Northampton doesn't permit stores to use plastic bags any more, your options are to either bring reusable ones of your own, or to buy their bags. I had stopped here to get items for a housewarming party for friends who recently moved into the area. I made sure to tell them this was where I got everything
