I had no time to request a redo since this was needed for an event with big Hello Kitty people - the owner who took my order knew this. It was pretty embarrassing having to show up with this and it was a complete waste of $100. The price of the cake was more than what was on the brochure, there was additional charge if you didn't want semi-sweet chocolate - which is odd because all the cookies are the same price no matter the flavor, and I didn't get the $5 off from a coupon the owner said he included. Complete rip off! Update: I didn't get a chance to try the cookie, but a few guests called me today to tell me the cookie tasted awful, like the ingredients were spoiled. read more

Located on the first floor of the mall, we happen to pass by and decided to order a couple cookies for a simple sweet treat. Baked fresh and warm. You can order individual or box. They have traditional and deluxe cookies, they also sell Icees.. flavor overall is just ok , not worth the price point. . I wouldn't go out of my way to drive to the mall for these cookies, but they are decent enough if already there and looking to satisfy a cookie craving. Honestly the reviews are legit telling the truth here. Service is lacking. Barely any cookies in the display case. I placed my cookie order and the staff got my order totally incorrect. And you know Mrs. Fields cookies are not exactly cheap either. This was the worst Mrs. Fields location I have been to. I was super disappointed and so were my kiddos. I was inside Burbank Mall tonight and walked past Mrs. Fields with my wife. I remember that like 2 weeks ago, they opened one at Valencia Mall and I got some m&m cookies from there. So since we were inside Burbank Mall and my wife was going to go shopping, I came back to look at their cookies. I saw that they had the same deal where if you buy 3 cookies then you'll get 1 free. After I asked what was the price and saw it was cheaper than the Valencia mall food stand, I already made up my mind. I got 3 m&m cookies and 1 chocolate chip. The girl totally didn't follow directions and now I don't have the Super Bowl cake I had asked for.

Poor Customer Service. I walk up to the display case and one of the workers (worker 1) is helping a customer. While I'm at the counter waiting, another customer walks up AFTER me and another worker (worker 2) pops in and starts helping her (I think the other worker "worker 2" may have been in the back). She was not at the counter when I walked up so she probably didn't know I was first . Should the worker (worker 2) have asked who was next? Probably but the customer that was at the display case when I arrived was just checking out so I was like "no big deal here" the cashier (worker 1) will probably help me next. She made eye contact with me while she was ringing up the other customer so I'm thinking the minute she finishes, "great, she's gonna help me now". Nope, she turns around and goes to the table to decorate cookies. Mind you another customer had walked up during all this so now there is a line behind me. I tried to get the attention of worker 1 and said "excuse me, can I get some help?" She gave me a blank look so I just left. They were hard and dusty. I was at the mall around 6pm, so the cookies should have been somewhat fresh from being made throughout the day. Worse experience ever here, from the false advertising buy 3 get one free doesn't apply even though it's clearly written on their menu. To the Indian guy who was very rude, the lack of receipt so I couldn't argue the one free or maybe it's the cookies that are ROCK HARD. Every other Mrs. Fields I go to has SOFT cookies, this locations cookies are HARD. After giving him 13 dollars for 4 cookies I headed to the merry go round because my 2 year old wanted a ride, I walked back and asked him for change for a dollar and he told me they don't do that and even said "look at the sign"...I literally just gave you my business not even 2 minutes ago. This location is AMAZING! Due to unforseen circumstances I had only an hour to get a cookie cake for a celebration, and after calling this location they were able to get it done for me! The staff and management were SO helpful in helping me get this custom cookie cake completed in time, and I truly appreciated all of their effort. Got 4 cookies from here today and they were the worse. It was like they just poured a batch of sugar in them and didn't measure how much, both me and my mom ate one and tossed the other two - they were that bad. Pretty sure they weren't fresh either. Also, the workers here were weird. There were three, two kids (young adults) and I assume a manager/owner. None of them gave off good vibes I dunno, could have been the workers were feeding off of the manager/owner's vibe they seemed a bit rigid/nervous around her but there was something about the whole experience beyond the nasty tasting cookies that left a foul taste in my mouth. (Please work on this) But I called directly, as soon as they opened, and Nimi was so helpful...I know she was pretty busy but she took the time to ensure that she got the order right. Even if you're on your break, there are more discrete ways to eat the product. The cookies I ate were fine though and it's what I expect. However, I was always a fan of their snickerdoodles and milk chocolate chip cookies and cookie cakes. I often purchase their gift baskets online or while in the downtown LA location for corporate/client gifts. This Burbank location will NEVER get my business again. I called on a Saturday morning, albeit a day before my daughter's birthday party, to add a little something to her already catered birthday event on Sunday. I wanted a chocolate chip cookie cake for her to blow out candles on. The young girl on the phone took down ALL of my information including credit card info, color of the icing, spelling on the cake, size, number of people it feeds, and even the total charge to my credit card. Now, I suppose it is my fault for not asking her for a confirmation number before hanging up as she assured me it was be ready for pick up the next day at set time. She even explained to me the different colors of icing, what floor they were on and where best to park for a quick pick up. So this conversation had to last at least 15 minutes and I figured all bases were covered. Right??? WRONG! Fast forward to the next day. I send my sister to pick up the cake on her way to the party from Brentwood. Already running late for the party, she calls me in a panic and asks if I sent her to the correct location. WTF?! You see where this is heading....I assure her it's the Burbank location, as I have their phone number and address. She says, there is no order for you. Pause, pause---fumes..Pause. "Hold on, I'll call you back" she says. Two minutes later she calls me back and says, the girls here (which she whispers, looked to be completely disorganized and still in high school) have your order written down on a loose piece of paper but no credit card number so they never processed it. Really? So where did my credit card info that the gal took yesterday go? GRRRRRRR!!! They call their "manager" and can't figure out what to do. You would think they could offer her another cake quickly (nope 30 minutes at minimum) while she's standing there or try to apologize or make amends by offering a dozen cookies to go, which we would have paid for. NO!? Nada! They stood around looking dumbfounded at what to do and just said, "it was never processed, we don't have it". There goes my daughter's birthday candle blowing event. And why wouldn't they call me back and just ask me for the CC info again? It's common business sense....Or lack thereof. Really people? What kind of establishment are you running and who are you entrusting your business to? If this is a franchised location, I feel for the owners - or maybe they simply do not care? I was tempted to call and complain to the owners/managers but didn't want to waste anymore of MY time. There was an employee that was half indian and half Portuguese (overheard her saying it to a customer) she was VERY FRIENDLY, there was another guy and he seemed nice as well.
