After my dinner yesterday at Tagawok, I remembered that there is Cold Stone Creamery in this lovely, quaint Burbank shopping center. Right when I exited the Chinese restaurant, Cold Stone was staring at me in the most inviting way and welcomed me in. I was greeted by Laila A. with a pleasant smile, and was ready to help me. She was very helpful by asking me what she can get for me. By looking all the delicious, creamy options that they had to offer; I went with a Cake Batter. Medium, nice, full scoop of ice cream that was just a bit smaller than my own head!:-) The ice cream tasted SO DELICIOUS, CREAMY, AND YUMMY! They also make ice cream right in front of you with whatever toppings that you desire. I chose my ice cream plain. The shop is small, clean, filled with a lot of happy customers. They had at least 5 employees working there and all eager to help you. I sampled 2 different ice creams until made my decision. Got it in a nice, big waffle cone. Chill ambiance, they also have their signature creations, make ice cream cakes, milk shakes, and fridge full of ready made goodies. Also, have few tables & chairs right outside of the creamery. I missed Cold Stone so much that I was happy to see one in the Burbank shopping center where AMC movie theatre is, along with other shops and restaurants. It's been ages since last time I have been to Cold Stone. Thanks to summer and hot weather I had the opportunity to visit and try new flavors. They have creat your own and signature creations. I picked signature creations since it was hard for me to decide which one to pick. Ice cream tasted really good. I really enjoyed my ice cream. They have a variety selection of ice cream flavors. Service was very friendly too. Lady who helped me explained the items on the menu and how to order, if I want to order create your own. I appreciate her taking the time and effort. For ambiance, this is a small store and there are couple of tables outside to sit and enjoy the ice cream. Store was clean and well maintained. This Cold Stone is located close to AMC movie theater and it is perfect spot to grab ice cream after or before a movie. For parking, there is public parking in walking distance. Other option is to park in the mall parking lot and walk which takes less than five minutes. read more

2 things I love.. ice cream and chocolate!!! My sweet and quick treat to myself was the Chocolate Devotion ice cream cone from Cold Stone. It was a great mix of chocolate fudge, chocolate cake, and ice cream. The scoop was a fairly good size and satisfied me!!! It tasted creamy and flavorful. I got it in a waffle cone, which was convenient to have in a cone-shaped cup. The staff was friendly and efficient in scooping the ice cream. The location is easy to get to, being nearby the AMC next door. They also do cakes, ice cream cupcakes, ice cream pies, and also have non-dairy options and shakes. I went because I got a coupon. It's located pretty close to the AMC 16, slightly dirty inside and outside seating. The ice cream is pretty good, the service was OK. I like Cold Stones. I like the consistency of the ice cream, its thick and stringy. Everything is very sweet, but it's ice cream you have to expect that. The price is what gets to me. Sure the "like it" size is good for sharing, but almost $10? We got the "trick or treat" creation that's made with Boo batter, that comes with M&M's, Kit Kat and Halloween Oreos. It was delicious. Service was quick and efficent. There was not a line when we walked in and we were able to find outside seating, there's no inside seating, its more quick service. There's paid street parking and free parking garages near by and you can walk around on Palm and San Fernando while enjoying your ice cream. read more

He greeted me when I entered and asked me how my day was going. Very polite. I was even able to use multiple gift cards, and he provided me with the balance remaining on the last one. This branch is under new ownership. Buyers beware! I've been coming here for 30 years. And the older lady here whic is one of the new owners was so rude and kept ripping me off on portion size! She didn't even know how many toppings each size was supposed to have. And she made me wait for five minutes while she organized the store. And then she would only put half the portion into my party size container. I kept having tell her to put more and more ice cream because she kept only filling it up halfway and so of course the toppings weren't mixed in well. Total rip off. Conveniently located next to the AMC Burbank 16, Coldstone creamery is a solid way you can satisfy the sweet treat craving. I usually come here before or after watching a movie and the line always moves pretty quickly. I try to get a different flavored scoop every time, and they all have been pretty good. You can get toppings on any scoop and they have a large variety of flavors. Staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are super high , so I'm knocking down a star. Two medium size scoops, one cup and one waffle cone cup for $22 is ridiculous. I'm just as happy getting a pint at the store for $6 No interior seating but there's plenty of tables out front. read more

Coldstone has been one of my favorite quick ice cream spots for the past whatever so amount of years. I love how the ice cream is so rich and creamy, and depending on who's helping you they'll give you a good amount in each serving. I have a usual go to order which is a strawberry shake blended with golden Oreos *chefs kiss*. I told the worker that I had a nut allergy and he took extra precautions to make sure not to cross contaminate things. However I don't like how the business just "washes" each serving spoon by placing it in some water and they don't really "clean" the serving area. They'll just "clean" the serving area by scraping away the visible ice cream. Other than that, I love cold stone ice cream and will always be coming back read more

Alright, this is probably one of the dead-est cold stone i have ever been to, but at the same time - the most miserable one. And clearly I am not the only one who came here to complaint about their staff. The staff that was there was a big guy, he already starting off strong giving me attitude when i asked for more than 2 samples. He gave me a strong glare. Given I was going to get something, he kept scoffing and rolling his eyes and looking at the owner who was training the new guy seemingly like he wants the owner to notice I was asking past my 2nd sample. A lot of the ice cream sample were either icy grainy (old), or too sweet, so I didn't want that for my to go? Also - considering they're not too busy or gaining any business, I'd think they'd be nicer about it. Then me asking for topping to add on was a huge problem too because that guy was not enthusiastic at all. He gave me the tiniest scoop for a small - as in the scoop did not even fill the cup + 2 topping. I paid total 10$ for a small and gained the most miserable experience, i didn't end up even finishing the ice cream and threw it away because I was so unhappy based on how he was acting. I'd rather go to pinkberry across the store than to go back to that cold stone again. highly do not recommend giving business to them, and I love supporting business. read more

Really solid Cold Stone location in Burbank. For a busy area, the location gets ice cream out efficiently with ample seating outdoor to enjoy the ambience. I wish I didn't even have to give them one star. I ordered a cake two full days in advance for delivery for the evening of my child's birthday. They completely cancelled on me 30 minutes before. I now don't have a cake for an expectant little one, and I don't have transportation to try to go out and solve the problem at the last possible moment on Friday in rush hour. It's been a long time since I've stepped food into a cold stone. I remember loving the idea of having my ice cream mixed in front of me. Cold stone ice cream always tastes fresher then Baskin Robbins. So this used to be my favorite place. On this visit we got the cheesecake fantasy Ice cream. It comes with fresh berries and graham cracker crust. As expected the ice cream was fresh and creamy. The fresh berries were a nice addition to make it taste fresh and light. My kids loved it of course. If you go and you can practice self control, you have to get the gotta have it size even if you don't want to eat that much all at once. There is only a $1 difference between the like it size (smallest) and gotta have it (largest). We were able to share with 3 people, the sweet girl at the register was nice enough to give us extra cups and spoons to make splitting easier.
