I've been to Glendale Galleria more than 90,000 times so far and almost every visit I end up enjoying Häagen-Dazs ice cream. Recently, I've been trying other ice cream places, new gelato shops, and even all the ice cream spots around Larchmont -- but I still really love Häagen-Dazs. I went to Glendale Galleria Häagen-Dazs last Sunday (9/14/2025). The new Pistachio flavor is absolutely delicious -- after just one bite to try it, I immediately ordered a full scoop. It was so good. So, I definitely want to get it again next time. Also, I really want to compliment the very young gentleman (I think young student) working here (unfortunately I didn't catch his name). He was so incredibly kind and friendly, and it made my visit even more enjoyable. read more

I mean as far as the ice cream itself goes it's Haagen dazs you can't really go wrong, it's cold, refreshing, sweet and they have soo many flavors to choose from. I was in here last week after doing a bit of holiday shopping, one of the young ladies working grabbed a cat from a customer and held it in her arms while she pet it. The cat was also sat down on the counter near the register where you pay and they sit your ice cream down on. She walked over and started to grab containers from the back counter to throw in the fridge, her other two coworkers didn't bat an eye. I explained to her that she just grabbed a random customers cat and was walking around like nothing happened. I mentioned that she needed to wash her hands before touching anything to avoid cross contamination and she looked at me like I was an alien. If this is the stuff they do in plain sight I can't imagine what goes on behind the counter. Do better read more

I'm with everyone and can not wait for this location to one day close down. They hire a bunch of kids with attitudes who care more about talking to themselves than with customers. I hope that when future employers see that they worked at a Häagen-Dazs they deny them employment because those who work here have no customer service AT ALL. They give you attitude, they talk badly about you with their coworkers (right in front of you), and their no hand-washing and loose hair isn't reason enough to leave, then you are in for a surprise. I would much rather have gone to Somi-somi but they close down so I will definitely be going to Salt & Straw where they have no sample limits and friendly staff actually seem to care about their job than over here. Worth the extra bucks and for the same bundle of calories, better to go that's best! ...and then go shopping around mall to burn it off Fav's are mint chip, vanilla, praline pecan, coffee and strawberries. The staff is always smiling and friendly here. I love to get my girlfriend her favorite Belgian chocolate milk shake with whip cream! Soo good! Now that I think about I'll get one for myself this week. The lines are quick and the the drinks are an accurate price for what you are served. I went to this location about three summers ago, and paid $3 for a stupid ice cream cone. Got my statement from the bank a few weeks later and saw a $10 charge from Haagen Dazs. WHAT?! I don't get it. Surely the server guy didn't expect a tip for his services (which merely comprised of asking my order, scooping it out of the thing and onto a cone, and handing it to me)? So I avoided the place like a plague. Last year, my ex insisted on going to this place because he knew one of the workers there and wanted to say hi. Since this place was already on my bad list, I couldn't help but give my ex's friend an angry glare when he introduced me to him. For all I know, he could've been that guy who overcharged me that one time. And so as I sat back at the bench right outside the store, I saw a line starting to form because my ex and his friend were happily chatting away and ignoring customers while the other poor employee was handing over scoop after scoop to increasingly impatient customers. I'm not big on ice cream, specifically b/c a few spoonfuls of it houses enough empty calories that I feel sick if I don't immediately exercise. However, sometimes I crave it. When I do... Poor communication skills and unwelcoming crew of associates. I got to the register ready to order my drink and the girl with the heavy eyelashes turns her back on me and helps another person that arrived after me. So, when she was helping the guest she then turned to me and told me to step inside and go at the end of the counter to order. Pretty passive aggressive but okay. Once I had my drink they had some issues with their Apple Pay/card. So they got some tall girl with a pony tail from the back to come and unplug the machine. I thought it would be fine after a few alterations but it wasn't. So they asked me if I had cash and I said no. So she reaches towards me and says "unfortunately I'm going to have to take your drink or else that's considered stealing." I don't appreciate the fact that not only was I not served when I arrived due to being ignored, but to use the term "stealing" is giving me profiling. So I took my last few sips for the item I thought would of been mine and she repeated herself and I gave it to her. So I asked her what her name was and instead of answering me she says "ma'am that's our policy." I stated "it's my birthday you know, so what's your name?" She said "Lily" if that's even her name. I don't care if they're young adults, when I work I have to at least be preemptive with the diction I use before I speak with a client. read more

I agree with the previous reviews. The employees who work here don't know what customer service means. Does it hurt you to smile? Since they're so miserable, I can only guess they have a slave-driving management. Working for this company must be horrible. The ice cream was part of their new sundaes; I got some sort of salty caramel truffle, and it was OK but the pretzels made it dry and not very tasty. Terrible customer service. I don't know why the girl helping us stopped after the first item and told the guy to see what else we wanted; there were only 2 of us in my party!! We asked for a drink, and we were told it's not being used right now so we asked for a bottled water. We walked to the register to pay, and meanwhile the girl started doing something else and the guy started helping the next customer. Why did I have to stand there forever while my ice cream melted, being completely ignored? Eventually I had to ask to be rung up by someone and I didn't buy the water. The mall parking lot could be challenging. This is a small location inside Glendale Galleria on level 1. Not a lot of ice cream choices. I really enjoyed the vanilla swiss almond. On my break came down to the Haagen Daz store on the first floor to get some coffee. They are next to the auntie annes pretzel and Cinnabon store if your looking for it. Its a nice little store always kept clean to customers who want to come in for their ice cream. They have limited seating in here that's enough for 4 people but they do have plugs on the wall if ever you need to charge your phone or something. They have a nice and wonderful staff when I came in so thats a plus and keeps your mood pretty happy. So what I ordered was a mocha frappe coffee with whipped cream and its pretty good. Full of flavor and sweetness blended with that coffee goodness. Not overly blended with too much sweetness that it overpowers it and you just taste the sugar and not the ice cream or coffee. Just love this little store overall because they have nice staff and I didn't get disappointed by the drink that I got. read more

Stopped by this location today, My pregnant girlfriend wanted ice cream and the associate that was serving the ice cream had her hands and arms inside her shirt. That is gross and unsanitary! Blown away with the service. I walked up it was packed. I blinked and I was at the front of the line. I was greeted by chipper April. I needed some advice on what to get the wifey who is 7 mo. Along. She's broke the flavores down and categorized them to make it easier to narrow down the flavor. we came up with 2 flavors and when for the quart more than I was planning on getting but well worth it. the flavor we decided on coffee cream a new flavor and cookies and cream. I noticed that the flavor she recommend was one of those ones that were at the bottom of the tub and super hard to scoop. I worked at baskin Robbins as a kid and I'd Always try to skip those. Not April. APRIL nailed it on the head it was a home run.
