I've known this place for over 10 years, and even though I live in Orange County now, every time I go to LA I make sure to stop by. Whether it's pizza or sandwiches, everything is amazing. My most recent order was the Persian pizza and the hot dog sandwich, and both were absolutely delicious. The flavors are always on point, and the quality never disappoints. The staff has always been very friendly and welcoming. The only thing I've noticed is that the pizza sizes have gotten a bit smaller, but the prices are still very reasonable. I was recommended this place by a friend and decided to try it out. They have a large parking lot on the side so you won't have problems parking They have A LOT of seating. Tables in the front, tables inside the shop and tables in the back under a canopy. The customer service was great and the employees were really nice. Now in to the order. This place does not garner as much attention and credit as it should. I remember being introduced to the Juice Stop about ten years ago when it wasn't renovated and chic-looking as it is today. I was introduced to one of my most favorite juices in this entire world which is their famous barberry-cherry drink, which in Persian is called "zereshk-albaloo". If you're a fan of an incredible fusion of very tart, sweet and salty flavors with each cold sip...then definitely give this juice a try. I get it every time I visit. Funny story: I remember I couldn't finish a small cup my first time I ordered it because it was so sour, but I loved it so much that my tolerance grew in its favor with each and every visit. You can also find a few other Persian favorites, such as lavashak (basically their version of the fruit roll-up, except much more delicious) and "sholeh zard" which is a saffron-infused type of rice pudding, for lack of a better word, topped with almond slivers and coated with cinnamon powder. They also make paninis, flatbreads and other types of food, so it's not strictly Persian. In fact, I believe this place is owned by Armenians who lived in Iran so you will see a beautiful fusion of things. It's the perfect stop for a fresh juice or smoothie after a hike on a weekend.
