It was going to cost me over $700 for a tow back to my area. I had the tire slime that is supposed to coat the inside of your tire so you can drive together to a place. But didn't seem to work, i still had a slow leak. So in trying to find a place open on Sunday that could handle Tesla, i found this Firestone in Aurora. I spoke with Bryan on phone and he confirmed they could do it, but they may not have the right tire in stock. Fortunately i had an extra tire with me, and learned the hard way, the night before, a tow truck can't just put a new tire on a rim, it has to be done at a shop. So i drive to Firestone, refilling my tire with air until i got there. Fortunately, that worked. Brian couldn't have been nicer . The shops pretty busy and he tries hard to accommodate everyone. They put on the new tire and i was on my way. I was so relieved and so grateful for Brian's care. I highly recommend this Firestone. I can tell they care bout their clientele. I brought my car to Pep Boys on Kirk Rd in Aurora because the ABS light was on and I paid $162.90…read morefor a diagnostic. I was told the problem was the passenger-side wheel hub assembly and that replacing it would resolve the ABS issue. I declined the repair. I then had the wheel hub assembly replaced by another shop. They cleared the ABS codes, but the exact same code returned. The second shop determined that the right-front ABS wheel speed sensor is the actual cause of the problem. When I contacted Pep Boys, I was told there could have been more than one issue, including the sensor. However, that possibility was never explained to me during the original diagnosis. I was only told the wheel hub needed to be replaced to fix the problem. I understand the wheel hub may have had some wear, but I paid for a diagnostic to identify all cause of my ABS warning light. Replacing the recommended part did not resolve the issue, and Pep Boys has refused to refund the diagnostic fee or offer any assistance. I left disappointed because I expected the diagnostic to accurately identify the source of my ABS problem or, at the very least, for the company to tell me all possible causes for the light to be on. I was only given the expensive repair option. I submitted a claim and it was closed by the district manager without telling me. Very unprofessional.

I had an issue that required follow-up, and it took over a month for anyone to get back to me. When I finally spoke with Eric Johnson to explain my situation, he became frustrated and hung up on me. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. I will never be taking any of my cars back to any Firestone after my experience with this manager and with corporate. I've had my car inspected at multiple other shops, and they all said that Firestone caused a tear in my boot, resulting in leaking. Plus, they charged me $1100 to not fix what I came in there for. I expected much better customer service and communication from a reputable company like Firestone. He made me pay for another alignment without any discount. 1 week after that I felt it loose again and went to check to find the same thing. Andrew Hein, Service Advisor assisted me with all the issues. He came back to me stating that there are several codes coming up pertaining to the Evaporative Canister. He did not want to replace the entire unit without first doing a Perform a Smoke Test EVAP to find the leak. The technician pinpointed the problem. Had to have the removal & replacement of the Fuel Evaporative Canister. He had to order the part. When it did arrive, it was defective. He informed me and called the auto parts store he required a new part. It took a bit longer to get the part due to construction in the area. In the meantime, my blood sugar dropped dangerously low. Andrew headed out to get me a candy bar. It did the trick, otherwise, I would need an ambulance. The entire work got done. He even applied for a discount. Mike Ward was the technician. Very respectful young man. This has been my second visit to this location. I come in from Naperville and highly recommend to the locals and surrounding areas, to make this location, your first stop.
