I came here with my friend to study and was shocked at how beautiful the space is!! The cafe is all dark wood, plants, and cozy lighting. I also liked that they had merch to look at right by the order counter. I ordered the coffee egg cream ($6) and the worker was so accommodating! I lean towards sweeter drinks and she made mine extra sweet :) it came out really yummy! My friend got a matcha latte which was also pretty. While the space overall seems like a decent study spot, I think we came during an unfortunate time. Two large parties later came and sat on either side of us so it got quite boisterous and we had to move to another location. Service was friendly and efficient. I opted for the club sandwich and also tried the tomato soup. The sandwich was pretty good but the flavor of the soup just didn't work for me. It was spiced but I couldn't get past a few bites. Given the cost, I'd probably skip doing lunch here next time and try their breakfast options instead which sounded much more appealing. It wasn't a standard orange sweet potato either but a milder, sweeter white sweet potato (reminded me of satsumaimos). I also added egg for $2 extra. It was n9n stop while we were ther, but it wasn't a terribly l9ng wait, and the drinks and food came out remarkably quick. Plenty of seating for small and large groups. Staff was friendly as well. Shukshuka was super flavorful with soft boiled eggs. Oh, and the pita was the so soft and pillowy smothered in lemon butter. I wish you could order a plate of it. Shawarma was also tasty, but a bit on the small side. If you're hungry go with the breakfast sandwiches. Definitely a place to try when you're in town. read more

I have come here multiple times, either alone or with friends and every time I have really liked the ambiance and vibe of the place. They do have good service as well and food is delicious. I have ordered multiple things but Grilled Cheese is my favorite. Just to add a bit of a touch, I have recently added Grilled chicken (basically its shawarma chicken) onto my Grilled Cheese and it was amazingly fresh. I've never had a shakshuka with soft boiled eggs, but Mr. West impressed me with this new combination! I'm always wowed when I try a new menu item here, and this time was no exception. The pita served with this dish is perfectly soft and salty. On this particular Sunday, it was quite crowded, and we fortunately got a table before they began offering takeout only due to the dining room being at capacity. If you plan to go for brunch, expect either a long wait or to be required to get your food to go.
