The only thing the gold level had that silver did not was washing of rubber mats AND a spray wax, neither of which I needed or wanted. The silver included clean exterior and interior including vacuuming of carpet mats, clean windows inside and out. Superb job. it was just under $30, which is the same, or slightly less than Splash in Southbury, but far superior in quality of work. You sit in car while they hand wash it. You then drive to next station where they hand dry the car, vacuum, wash windows, clean interior. There's no inside waiting area so not sure where you hang out when there's inclement weather. I highly recommend this business versus the semi-automated tunnel that most places use. Also less likely to damage your paint finish that is more likely to occur in your standard car wash.

Very disappointed with our experience at Personal Touch Car Wash in Torrington today. My wife…read morebrought in her Mazda 3, she wanted the interior cleaned throughly. One of the guys talked her into a "super cleaning of the interior", which would cost $50 and take half-an-hour. As we were driving away, we noticed a 6.5 inch long slice in the passenger side dashboard. It was very obvious and it was not on the dashboard previously. It looked like someone had taken a razor blade to the dash to make this slice, it had that appearance. So we turned around and went back to Personal Touch for an explanation. The first guy who came out said we didn't see the slice before because the dashboard had been dirty (this is the guy who runs the cash register and didn't even work on the car at all). We asked for the manager, when he came out, he told us it was the imprint of the airbag. He quickly realized that we were not stupid enough to believe that, so he left to go question the employee who had cleaned our interior. When the manager came back again, he said the employee who had cleaned the dash was not wearing or using anything that would have caused that slice, and that our dash was lightly cleaned because it was not that dirty. OK, so how did the slice magically appear there ?? Bottomline is that they are all liars and have ZERO INTEGRITY. I would never say that someone did the damage on purpose, but when an accident does happen, at least be man enough to fess up to your mistake. And an accident did happen here, a 6.5 inch slice is now in my wife's dashboard. I am very unhappy right now, and I would not recommend Personal Touch Car Wash in Torrington to anyone.

He makes going to the car wash a pleasure , easy drive through and always has towels , sprays and even tire shine as well as good running vacuums ( all this offered even to non members ) Now that's so considerate because most places don't do that He also runs specials and allows you to join and never limits you like some places to only "new customers" Today I had to ask him to refund a car wash because I bought a membership a day or two after and with out hesitation he helped and told me no problem. To me that's the place you want to go for all your car needs , you are treated like a Vip and next door there's a oil change and a nice lounge area with coffee while you wait , can't beat that !! This increase showed up on my checking account statement. No warning, no phone call, no email, no mail, they just raise the rate because they thought they could. I was stunned with this poor business practice that Russell Speeders does apparently to almost every customer This business should be investigated by the State of Connecticut consumer protection immediately for their deceptive business practices. I feel bad for the employees of this establishment because they actually are very nice. Management is terrible. Upper management is possibly the worst. $29 a month to $49 a month with no warning. Never again Russell Speeders never again. I have canceled my monthly membership. There are many car wash services in the area that offer monthly rates, and I'll be checking them out shortly.
