Hands down my favorite place to take my car. I love that they hand wash and dry it, so you don't have to worry about a brush or machine scratching the car. They do such a great job on both the interior and the exterior. They have different packages that focus on different needs. (seats, carpets, etc) This was my first time getting #7, the carpet shampooing package. My kid dropped a large sugary beverage and it spilled all over. I cleaned it the best I could, but the next day my car still had an awful overwhelmingly sweet smell. I felt like I had a brand new car after they were done with it! I've been coming to this car wash for 4 years and they never disappoint. They are pretty fast and efficient. They pay attention to detail and even vacuum my car seats- which I appreciate. I recommend coming early during the week because they get very busy. There's an outdoor seating area while you wait. I usually pick up food nearby and eat. (On Queen St, there's so many food options: Fancy Bagels, Starbucks, Dunkin, Ellie's Farmhouse - our favorite brunch spot... etc. Jersey Mike's, Chipotle, Moe's, Buffalo Wild Wings, iHop, a ton of fast food restaurants, etc. depending on the time of day!) I tell everyone about this place. They are wonderful! It's relatively inexpensive, especially considering that they have consistently done a great job every time. I've never paid more than $70 before tip. Tip is completely optional and they've never asked/ they aren't pushy or expectant about it. You can give a tip directly to them or discretely put it in one of their secure tip boxes. The cost of a wash without any special package is $20-something I think. (I forgot to take a photo of the sign.) They have a punch card for loyalty - and they do a free wash on your birthday! ****The prices in the sign photo attached to my previous review are old, from 2022. Prices have increased since then but they are still very reasonable!*** read more

I drove ~30 minutes to get my car hand washed here, and let me tell you, it was worth it! The crew did a fantastic job with a lot of attention to detail. I got their Express #2 package. There were around 3 to 4 crew members cleaning my car at the same time, so it was very quick yet very thorough. You can pay by credit card while in line, but I would also bring cash to tip the crew. These guys do amazing work and deserve it. 10/10 highly recommend! read more

D-Hand Car Wash - Packages & prices - Auto Detailing Near Me - Southington, Connecticut

Aweosme team, work very hard, clean your vehicle with care and attention to detail for the best value.

This is the absolute best place to get your car washed!! For the value and the care they take in detailing, it cannot be beat! As the name indicates, all car washes are done by hand. When you pull in, you select your wash (the highest price with detailing is only $60!!) and pull into the garage where you sit in the car while three to four people wash it by hand. They do such an amazing job and are quick! Exterior is washed within minutes. If you select any interior detailing package, you then pull to the side lot and wait outside in a little tented area with chairs while they complete the interior work. I typically select the seat package (#8) where the exterior is washed, interior is detailed, and seats are shampood - all for $60 (as of July 2022)!! The service is top notch, fast, and friendly. I can't recommend them enough! read more

The team at D-Hand washed my car quickly and completely. The workers are very friendly and did a fantastic job.

This is the best car wash I've ever been to, their service is spectacular and they actually HAND WASH your car (after you drive through the machine wash part). They take time to dry your car down, and work hard every day regardless of weather. They'll even spot clean if you have some areas with sap, and if you have tar stuck on your car you can leave your car and have them work on it during the day. The guy who runs the place is super nice and friendly and remembers me even if I don't go for months. I always try to bring some cash because I'm always astounded with their work and want to leave a tip for them, so I recommend you do the same if you visit! I paid just $25 and they did an interior & exterior clean, they took out my car mats and cleaned them all and now my car smells new and clean. Highly recommend D-Hand! read more

Treating myself and my car to a thorough cleaning for my birthday and was sooo happy with the outcome! No wait in line although, when I was there earlier there was a bit of a line. Handwashing outside and thorough cleaning of the inside for a very reasonable cost. We did tip on top of this and it was definitely worth it. The folks who work there are friendly, accommodating and do a great job. read more

Went and got a hand wash today a D's! They did an amazing job! The service was so quick. I got the #4 (platinum) wash which included the inside as well. About 4-5 workers were working on my car at the same time which made the service in and out super quick! Got recommended to come here by the hubby. This place is definitely worth checking out. Prices are really great for what you get. My car is white and looked like a dirty snowball lol. It looks brand new again and I am super happy! Will be back in the future. Prices start around I want to say 15$. Mine was 24$ for both inside and outside ! read more

Since the major car wash in Avon has been getting such negative reviews, I looked around to find another that could provide outside and inside the car cleaning at a reasonable price. Wow, did I find one in D-Hand. Even though its two towns away, it was worth it. One tip is to look for the Shell station just north of Denny's on Rte 10, the car wash is in the rear. I paid $29 plus tips (these guys deserve it, they work hard) and my SUV shines like a dime and is clean and spotless inside (at last!). Even though there were a few cars ahead of me, they have a sizeable staff that made the process move quite quickly. A solid five star operation. I will be back. read more

They do a fantastic job... inside & out. The employees work hard and you can see they take pride in their work. Highly recommend. Good value

After 30 or so washes here, I can thoroughly say each time has been 5-star. Aftermarket wheels covered in brake dust? Don't have the time to be thorough on your own wash? D-hands holds it down like it's their own car they are working on. if you catch a review bomb on here...it's an outlier, entitled reviewer, or yelp robot. The lines are long on the weekends, especially with nice weather, but that just goes to show D-hands is a must use. read more

If you want an incredibly affordable, and extremely thorough clean, come here. My carpets were CAKED in mud and they look BRAND new. Of course if you're coming here with a really dirty interior make sure to tip well, come with cash to be prepared. They get you in and out so fast and they left my car spotless. I would give them a 10/10 and I will only be coming here from now on. read more

What a tremendous job of cleaning my car inside and out. I can honestly say that I bought package #5 for $60, which i know is a lot for a normal car wash. However, the job done by D-Hand was equivalent to getting the car detailed at 1/3 to 1/4 the cost. They spent a lot of time, vacuuming, hand washing, mats, wheels, windows several times! Extremely satisfied and well 100% return. read more

Great service, thorough cleaning, inside and out, as long as you choose their "Platinum" service. They are careful with your car. Price beats the cost of most full detail places, so why bother spending over $100 when you can come here and get a core cleaning done just as well, minus the shampooing of upholstery. read more
