On my way through Bloomfield, I noticed the VIP car wash. They offer detailing, and unlimited washes for a monthly fee. I couldn't really catch the fees, but it might be around $60 if you'd like to get the full interior and exterior unlimited number of times. I only went here for a simple exterior wash. I drove up, the guy asked what kind of wash I'd like I said regular, it was $20. I had to put the car on neutral and just drive through. There were all sorts of bristles and sponges distributing a nice amount of foamy soap on to every part of my filthy car. Then it got a rinse. The drying part was very noisy, I don't remember it being this noisy at other car wash places. The most surprising part was, when it was all done, there were around five guys drying each of the windows with their special microfiber rags in hand. This is VIP treatment for sure! I went to this place to get my car detailed in anticipation of selling it. The car was cleaned, but in the process the detailer damaged the switch cover under the driver side seat. I didn't notice it at first because the seat belt was pulled over the hole when I was getting in, but when I got out it was really noticeable and I called them back the same day to let them know what happened. They denied any responsibility and claimed I broke it in the window of time between leaving and bringing it back. So I would say that if you care about your vehicle and don't have some kind of camera set up inside the car, don't give this place any of your business, because my car is worth less now than it was when I brought it in. read more

This company broke the rear windshield wiper on my BMW X7 M50i and didn't want to pay to fix it after the machine ripped it off. I spoke to the day manager Abraham and he said it's my responsibility & they are not going to pay for it! I know all of the guys over there I tip extremely well (Just gave the guys $100 during Christmas) & I have a monthly Subscription there with their most expesnive (V.I.P) package! This vehicle is brand new & they messed it up pretty bad & won't fix it! I'm definitely not doing business there anymore unless they make it right and btw there are scratch on my ledt rear fender from the wash as well. its a brand new car 2022 has only 6K miles on it! My daughter and I just arrived in Hartford last night after three days of travel from Minnesota. Her car was covered with salt and dirt from the trip and from spending a week traveling snowy Minnesota roads beforehand. We checked Yelp for car wash businesses hoping for a wash that would remove the winter grime from the visible surfaces as well as the undercarriage, and found VIP Car Wash just west of town. We visited and found that VIP has a number car wash & interior cleanup packages. We chose the basic package with undercarriage wash. We were very satisfied with the results of the wash at a very reasonable cost, and we're very happy with the sense-of-purpose exhibited by the prewash and post wash crews too. The car looks great! My favorite car wash in the area. Fast and efficient service every time I bring my vehicle here. I usually choose the premium wash which includes waxing and vacuuming and a minor detailing inside. It runs about $30 Bucks or so but your car will shine for many weeks to come. read more

Outstanding service washes over you and your car at VIP Car Wash!! This is without a doubt the best car wash in the area!! Drive up to the entrance of the wash tunnel itself, pick out which service you want, then walk through the nicely renovated hall and shop as you watch your car get the works. Before the tires hit the track to go through the wash tunnel, the staff puts your car's floor mats through a special mat cleaner outside and vacuums the interior (even if you get an exterior wash only). The workers then scrub the car thoroughly before it enters the tunnel, where the car is again washed extremely well by state-of-the-art equipment. The staff is extremely kind and efficient. They work very hard, from scrubbing the exterior of the car to hand-drying it at the end. (Be sure to leave a little something in their tip box located outside at the end of the walkway!) I went there for the first time and they did such a great job. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I was quite worried since I have tons of German Shepherd furs in my car. I meant A LOT of furs. Staff used their magic to make the furs disappeared in a short time too!!!!!! Only thing was the back window was not cleaned to well. This car wash is great. You do get a lot for a decent price. I got "The Works" which included vacuuming, exterior wash, hand drying, interior window cleaning, dash wipe, an air freshener, and tire shine for $25. There are other, lower priced options as well. You get to watch your car go through the wash from inside the building. There is some seating inside. The staff I dealt with was very friendly and helpful. They go VERY fast. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. They did seem to miss a large area on the interior windshield, but not the end of the world. I will be returning in the future for inside and out cleanings. read more

I have black upholstery in my car and a yellow Labrador retriever. Whenever she rides with me it's an absolute disaster on my passenger seat. Brought in my car for "The Works" and as the guy examines my seats he said "this is a detail job, the hair doesn't come up with a vacuum". I said whatever you can do will be perfect. At the end of the chain I hop in my car and every hair was off the seat and somehow the dried mud from her paws too. It was 10x better than I expected! Very friendly staff and owner. Good pricing. I stopped in on my way home from work - I really liked this place, I did a quick clean car wash and they were very nice and did an efficient job. I liked that they hand dried my Eileen (what I named my Ford Escape ;) ) There was a clump of sap they had missed on the windshield so I got out to clean it, and the gentleman were very nice and took over for me as soon as they saw. They charge $16.99 for a super wash (vacuuming, door jambs, windows and dashboard included) but they do a horrible job. There is one guy there that I've seen there for the longest. He is the only one that does a great job on people's car and if I have any issue where another employee failed to do something, he takes care of it (the only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1). Continuing on, they did a half-ass job vacuuming my car. They didn't even put my mats back properly. Then the guy assigned to do the windows failed to do my windshield and when I brought it to his attention he STILL didn't go back and clean it!!!! read more

The workers at VIP Car Wash damaged a side panel on my car while washing it and also caused the Subaru insignia on the back to fall off. When I noted both of these problems, I was told that I needed to speak to the manager, who had just left and was due back in an hour. I called; I called again. The manager never returned my calls, and after five or six hours the receptionist at VIP simply didn't answer my calls, even though the business was open. Very disappointed. I purchased a deluxe wash interior and exterior which was pricey. Upon completion. I get ready to go. The gear panel was crumpled. The manager fixed it. The neck day. The side panels on 2 doors were off. They had to be glued back. The window front window was not cleaned. This is the 3rd experience at this car wash. The front and rear window blades were torn off. The person who did not greet me, was sullen, and was broadcasting how much he hated his job. He spent an inordinate time with the car in front of me and when someone said to get moving, his reply was "they ain't going anywhere" Well. I am and never to this business. He gave me a paper to give to the cashier. The cashier had no idea what the 'paper' was for. She went to ask but apparently received no answer. At this intolerable point, I told her charge me for the extreme ( the most expensive) and what I had asked for. At this point I did not care what level of service they provided me as all I wanted to do was leave. I wanted to give my business to a local Bloomfield service but their horrible service was too much. I will continue to use Russell across from Walmart in Avon.
