As one other reviewer said, hands down, the best car wash I've ever been to. Please refer to…read moreRosanna G's review on 10/7/22. She just about said it all. Not sure what she got that cost $75. I would add two things. First, they give veterans 10% off on Tuesdays. I went a few weeks ago, got the discount and they cleaned my entire GMC 2500 inside and out for $26. I had a hard time telling the difference between the $275 detailing that I get from another great guy and what these guys did for $26. It was spotless and shiny. It did take about 30 minutes, but was totally worth it. I just went back today and for $17 (plus the $3 tip I gave them), the outside of my truck is spotless again. Tires and wheels shined. Everything. All by hand. I can't say enough good things about these guys. They are my new go-to car wash and I'm happy to travel 30 minutes to get to them. There are no hand washes closer to me and none of the automated ones even come close to the quality work these guys do. Oh, yeah, the second thing is that the name of the car wash is now Optimo Car Wash #6. Still at 191 Shunpike Rd in Cromwell.

Depending on which package you purchase, you will also get your interior cleaned. For somewhere around $75 they will wash your car and thoroughly clean and polish the inside! They do a FANTASTIC job. For the price, you can't beat it. Just know what you are getting into before you head over - this process takes time. They have both indoor and outdoor seats to wait for you car.

Decent facilities I suppose, but this place seems designed around what I would consider being a non…read morestandard billing approach that squeezes several extra dollars out of you that you would not expect. I'm used to having a set timer for a set price, and then having to add one dollar at a time if the timer is about to expire. That's a fine approach in my book. Tough at times, but you get good at it. This place gives you a set time, then continuously charges you beyond that time without your need for input. That's great that I dont have to add a dollar if running out of time, but I'd rather have it stop when time is up. Here, however, if you pay credit it'll let it keep charging, and if you drive away when done without hitting stop, your bill will keep climbing. If you try to add more money before the time ends after paying with credit, nothing happens, but it'll stop service and take your cash until you pay again for full service. I stupidly paid credit, visually saw the timer approaching limit and added a physical dollar bill to finish my clean up. Instead of adding time it STOPPED the clock. I was out of singles and had to swipe my card again to rinse the soap off. End result was a $6-7 self serve wash job cost me $21. Could you get a decent deal here? Sure...just know the games they're playing if you pay credit. ...I should note that the credit agreement on the wall explains some of this so long as you actually read it and don't just assume the industry standard rules apply, but they still fail to explain the billing structure beyond the minimum time charged. It says the maximum charge, but no indication of the increments between the minimum and maximum charges.

I put $1.50 in a vacuum in quarters (which I lost before I realized that the vacuum was not in service), ok maybe my bad I should have noticed, although there was no out of order sign or anything else. I then swipe my card and use another and I decide to give them the benefit of the doubt. A few days later I get mud on my new car and figure I can run over there and just wash it off quick. I made sure I did not exceed the 5 minute minimum for $5 but what do you know I look at my statement and they have charged me the full $15 maximum charge. Not happy. It cost me $15 to spend les then 5 minutes washing my car MYSELF. Negative Stars for you.. I do not recommend.
