Decent facilities I suppose, but this place seems designed around what I would consider being a non standard billing approach that squeezes several extra dollars out of you that you would not expect. I'm used to having a set timer for a set price, and then having to add one dollar at a time if the timer is about to expire. That's a fine approach in my book. Tough at times, but you get good at it. This place gives you a set time, then continuously charges you beyond that time without your need for input. That's great that I dont have to add a dollar if running out of time, but I'd rather have it stop when time is up. Here, however, if you pay credit it'll let it keep charging, and if you drive away when done without hitting stop, your bill will keep climbing. If you try to add more money before the time ends after paying with credit, nothing happens, but it'll stop service and take your cash until you pay again for full service. I stupidly paid credit, visually saw the timer approaching limit and added a physical dollar bill to finish my clean up. Instead of adding time it STOPPED the clock. I was out of singles and had to swipe my card again to rinse the soap off. End result was a $6-7 self serve wash job cost me $21. Could you get a decent deal here? Sure...just know the games they're playing if you pay credit. ...I should note that the credit agreement on the wall explains some of this so long as you actually read it and don't just assume the industry standard rules apply, but they still fail to explain the billing structure beyond the minimum time charged. It says the maximum charge, but no indication of the increments between the minimum and maximum charges. read more

I have passed this place for 20 years and never tried it. I like the kind where they clean it for you. That being said, I had a car to vacuum out and I just wanted it done. I put $1.50 in a vacuum in quarters (which I lost before I realized that the vacuum was not in service), ok maybe my bad I should have noticed, although there was no out of order sign or anything else. I then swipe my card and use another and I decide to give them the benefit of the doubt. A few days later I get mud on my new car and figure I can run over there and just wash it off quick. I made sure I did not exceed the 5 minute minimum for $5 but what do you know I look at my statement and they have charged me the full $15 maximum charge. Not happy. It cost me $15 to spend les then 5 minutes washing my car MYSELF. Negative Stars for you.. I do not recommend. read more

I always loved this carwash until it took my $11 that I had been saving for several weeks to wash blackberry bird shit off my car! It kept telling me to pull up I was almost at the dryer. The wash never activated! I was out off $11 & still had blackberry birdshot shot on my driver side window. I WILL NEVER come back here! Bought $15 car wash. No receipt was given. Card was charged $30. Car was not clean at the end. Will not be back.

Tried so many times to reach this Berlin establishment by phone and email with no luck. I used the wash bay on the far end of building. The top roller failed to spin and dragged up and down my wife's 2019 Volvo XC40 which in turn ripped off the rear wiper arm and wiper. Bumped into the owner, and he made it right. I've gone here many, many times, and only had an issue once with the touchless wash running out of soap, so I'm hopefully this was a one time thing. He did say that he isn't always great about checking voicemail or emails, but if you see him at the wash, just let him know and he's glad to help. I still think it's the best touchless wash I've found in CT and I haven't had a problem since. read more

Update 10/12/17- once again less than pleased. Came here to vacuum out my car which I like to do at home when it's warmer.. but because it's chilly I figured I'd stop and vacuum here which I was hesitant to do because usually when I use my card it won't go through on all of the machines besides one. So I went to that one but used quarters this time around. Well the thing turned on and everything but it wasn't picking anything up! Definitely a run down car wash. The only thing that really works is when you clean your car yourself in the bigger bay areas. Such a waste of $1.50! I've been here before damage was done to my car. The owner is rude and got into an argument with my boyfriend after he asked how long one of the self serve washes would be out for. I went to get my car washed yesterday and used the soft touch. When I checked my car after it still had soap all over it and my right rear light is cracked. It didn't even clean my car, it was more of an over priced window wash. It was a waste of $11. read more

Enough nerves have been struck to earn an update. -The power sprayer is supposed to have a rubber tip on the end of it, so you don't scratch your car by accident. I learned the hard way that at least one of the three doesn't! Super. -The interior scent-spraying device is barely functional. Only one of the three scents actually works, and for $1.50, you get MAYBE 45 seconds of spray... there's no running clock, so start spraying or you'll be paying! -They just jacked up prices to $4 instead of $3 for 5 minutes. A 33% price increase? No thanks. -Does anyone freaking work here? I sent an email, and I got a MAILER-DAEMON return mail, and have been calling for a WEEK without a response on the phone! There's no voice mail! And why have I been calling? Because I left a floor mat there while vacuuming out my back seat last Monday. 10 minutes after leaving, it was gone. So SOME employee musta taken it, unless the nefarious "Single Floor Mat Berlin Bandit" is once again at large. So now I'm down a floor mat, poorer, and angrier. I reiterate: Super. read more

Good car wash. They let you use credit cards for the manual wash area. Always good so you don't have to "feed the machine".

1 star is too generous. I went to clean my car, the credit card machines were not working. No sign or anything- saying out of service. I realized that after I got everything out of my car and took out the mats. Then then owner or manager comes over and won't stop explaining why he had to cancel the credit card machines. He was kind of rude. I wasn't sure if I should go someplace else but I like to support local businesses so I decided to go get some cash and try again. Then I go to Walgreens, get cash, come back, empty my car again, put $4 in the machine. I found out after I put the $4 in the machine that the vacuum was broken. I said to him, what the f this is crazy and my second attempt. He started yelling at me as loud as he could. I told him I was the customer. Long story short, the man is super crazy. I got my money back. I will never support them again- not because their equipment didn't work- because the owner is unprofessional and doesn't know how to help people when they are upset about his equipment not working. When I can get the machine to take my credit card, which has been hit or miss, more miss than hit, the car wash is great. However, I just went there and again it would not recognize any of my cards and so had to leave without washing my car. Very disappointed!!!! Need to find another car wash now!!!! read more
