1st I'm gonna start with the conveyor that guides your car through the wash damaged one of my rims. Secondly I did the platinum wash and my car was still dirty and had water spots all over it. The employees couldn't care less when I said something. Needless to say I won't be back. read more

Consistent wash and close to great with a few exceptions. Their newer car wash in Middletown is much better as it doesn't have the "wet curtain thing" come down on your dirty car upon entry. I dislike that feature as it cascades along the dirty hood of your car and is too risky for scratches. I also dislike that the don't have air blower hoses on the vacs to blow water out of nooks & crannies on your car after washing. Middletown has them and since it's closer to me heading north on Rte 9, I've made the new facility my preference. read more

I love getting my car wash at least twice a weeks. I hate driving my black car with all the salt that's sprinkled every time it snows. After every wash my car looks spotless. Just add an air freshener and my car looks and smells brand new! I also love the access to the free vacuums. I am able to remove all the dirt and sand without a hassle. First and foremost I want to say that the staff is super friendly! Now for the negative part. The belt is way too fast. I understand it's that way because of how busy this car wash gets, but your car comes out of the wash still wet. Slow it down and get a stronger dryer. read more

Purchased a Complete Interior Detail for my Van. Cost was approximately $223. The van wasn't in bad condition was clean considering it's a family car with no major stains. For the amount I paid I expected a lot more in cleanliness. I didn't expect to find candy stuck on the bottom side of the door cup holder. I didn't expect to find stains still on the ceiling or leather seats. I didn't expect to see all cup holders with residue still in edges. Didn't expect to see dust/dirt still in crevices. I used Flash Car Wash in Wallingford for the first time today, paying $21 for a platinum wash (their second most-expensive wash). The result was terrible. The wash did not remove dirt on the undercarriage and trunk top, nor bird poop from my windshield. Further, I found blue fluid, dried, on the rear-facing trunk and rear bumper. would give 0 stars if I could. I have tried to cancel my membership multiple times with this place only to have someone mess up and i get charged for another month. I called and asked and they said the charge went through the day I cancelled so they could refund me. I asked why i was not made aware of this when i stopped by. They couldn't tell me expect to blame the employee. maybe train your employees properly and set proper expectations for customers. this place sucks and employees are incompetent. manager has a crappy attitude as well. go down the road it's a much better experience with better prices. read more

It gets 2 stars because it's set up conveniently. I have been driving by the sign advertising a monthly fee unlimited washes since they opened. I decided to give my Outback a wash today as it needed it and I wanted to try the place out. The kid at the vending machine was nice. However, the entire back of my car was essentially untouched. There has been a dirt splash on the back driver side panel. IT WAS STILL THERE after the wash. Even on the hood, splatters of dirt. I've never been the type of person who has a consistently clean car. It's too expensive, inconvenient, it rains too often, etc, etc. But when I saw that Personal Touch was open, I decided to finally invest in a monthly unlimited deal. I can wash my car every day and it only costs me $21.26 (with tax) per month. Along with the unlimited plan, I got a sticker for my windshield, which makes the whole process super quick and easy. Every employee that I've encountered has been extremely pleasant and helpful. Between the friendly employees, the convenient location and the free vacuums, I'm hooked on this place! My car has never looked so clean! I highly recommend stopping in for a wash if you're in the area. read more

I have to say, the staff are PERFECT! It's a new place and i can imagine still have kinks to work with the system as i have had two issues with the charging, but every time the staff has been nothing but helpful and very accommodating. You give them a problem and they answer it with smiles and knowledge. I LOVE the wash too, i feel this is the cleanest my car has been! No other drive thru wash has done the job this one has. brought my new Land Rover for a wash because of all the salt and mid wash my wiper was ripped off the arm and disappeared. When the wash was over i drove around to speak to the attendant, who prior to entering was very pleasant and spoke perfect English. When I approached about the wiper blade he had lost command of the English language. I waited over 15 minutes and they were unable to find the blade and offered no explanation, compensation or reimbursement. Why I give them a low rating is because they are robbing people with the expiration date they have when you purchase a 2nd wash to bring down the price per wash. I have had more than one that expired making my first wash very costly. This is a scam. There is no reason whatsoever to have an expiration date on the 2nd wash. Personal Touch stopped personally touching your vehicle. They no longer hand brush the bad spots or bumpers or rocker panels before the machines take over. When I pointed out areas that didn't come clean, they just say the machines don't clean that. Wasted $15 for no personal touch, oh they did have a person to tell me that they don't clean your vehicle. read more

Clean and convenient location. Modern features, like a touch machine where you can choose the kind of car wash you would like(with many options and packages). As I drove in, blue shirt staff members were seen through out the location helping customers. They offer detailing but I just went with the drive through. A staff member was there to guide me and I was very satisfied with the wash. They have a lot of new features I havent seen in a "regular" car wash and I left with my car sparkling. I like to start off Cromwell is a safer way to get into As Middletown roadway is filled with potholes. That needs ti be addressed as I seen ppl turning around over that. My Disappointment Is they didn't honor their ad on tv for penny month start in Middletown. I wrote on page...They got back to me to say ad is changed but didn't honor the ad as they should of. That for me is not fair. You advertised with no mention of expiration on ad and I tell you after going in and a comment to your page. Your respond Was ad is changed now on tv. Ok but as professional company you should honor your mistake as you left out key info. Expiration or April it goes up to $10 should of been in the ad. It drew me in but thinking of canceling As honoring the ad would be good business sense. My friend does Cromwell but her undercarriage add on went from $2 to $7 with no warning. I got the $50 seat shampooing, the $60 super clean for the rest of the car (carpets, dashboard, doors and windows), and it came with a run through the automatic wash of the exterior. The best part is that there is almost always some kind of deal going on! On my most recent visit, I picked up a $25 gift card and got a free Platinum car wash ($11.99 value!). The Flash Car Wash staff is always friendly and willing to help. All I did was roll up, tell them what I wanted and had them ring me up. I was in and out of there in less than 15 minutes, even with the long line that snaked out of the lot. The Platinum included a wash for the undercarriage-- perfect for getting rid of all that road salt in the winter time. I spent an extra 10 minutes cleaning outside the inside of my car afterwards courtesy of the vacuums free for use after any car wash. There was one stand whose vacuum did not seem to be working, but since it wasn't too packed, I didn't have a hard time looking for another spot to park my car. There were 4 guys working on it and yet I still had tree sap on my windows and my hood. No attempt at all to remove it. Terrible job!! Spots not touched on the inside. One window not even washed.
