The car wash part of it was ok. I got the $27 wash. My bigger problem came when I exited the wash to get my car vacuumed and interior cleaned they have you pull up to a spot which had garbage all over the ground. I didn't want to drive over the garbage for fear of what was there. I don't know why they don't clean where they work. The full service wash was decent but the tire shine wore off in about 24-30 hours later. read more

After putting off vacuuming my car in the 100+ degree heat of SC, I was desperate to take advantage of the cooler CT temps to get it cleaned professionally. I did some research and asked around and had multiple referrals to Optimo. I went around 11:15am and there were 4-5 cars ahead of me. I had looked on their website for pricing and planned on the #5 detail which is $60 and includes a car wash. When I got there, the employee told me it would be $160 (!!) due to the amount of dog hair. I have a Weathertech seat cover and floor liner, so there isn't much that gets through and it usually takes me less than 10 minutes to vacuum it myself. I stuck with the #5 and waited while they worked on my car. It took about 20-25 minutes in total for the entire wash and vacuum and my car looks great. I would come back. read more

Paid specifically for an undercarriage cleaning, which comes with a hand wash, sealer wax, tire shine, and drying of door jambs. I got the wash. Mediocre job on that. I don't even know what to say about the tire shine; I guess take a look at the pictures. Didn't wash the wheels. Didn't open the doors to wipe the door jambs. Front bumper and grille are still dirty. And my undercarriage, which is what I specifically went there for, is bone dry and still covered in mud. So I basically paid for a subpar, very quick, and streaky hand wash. read more

Been here a few times and they do a really nice job. $12 for a hand-wash and undercarriage wash; hard to beat that. They even hand dry and dress the tires when done. You can get a hand wash, dry, interior cleaning for $40 with the same results as a $100+ car detail job. Everyone works hard, and non stop. This is one of the only places that I can honestly say scrubs down the entire car to hand dry it and also does the wheels. I am giving this 4 stars because on my first visit to this place, I went up to the automatic wash and numerous people walked by that worked there, but ignored the fact that I was waiting. I was in the front of the line with nobody in front of me.....waited atleast 5 minutes, and then decided to leave. Maybe just an off day. They have a $19 machine wash option which includes them cleaning the interior of your car as well, which is a fantastic deal. The guys do a phenomenal job. They are thorough and really take their time. However, I've been here twice and both times I waited over an hour for my car to be done. I go to this place often and they know me when I pull up. They take their time and do a great job, especially when it's during a slower time of the day. I've asked them a few times to pay extra attention to things and they always do. You cannot beat the price $21 for a full hand wash exterior and full mini detail of the interior. I always go to this car wash and get the full wash and have been happy with the work in the past. Today I decided to upgrade and go with the new Optimo Wash. This was supposed to include a spray wax detail and interior shine detail. After waiting 45 minutes on the bench in front of my truck because they were busy I received no spray detail and my front end and side mirrors were still covered in bugs. When I questioned them they said they did the spray detail and couldn't do anything for the bugs. The spray detail was the only reason for having chosen the upgraded wash in the first place. This is not service one would expect to get for the price of this wash. I even prepaid a 5 dollar tip when paying with my card. Very unhappy customer. This is a review of the entire establishment, specifically the self serve wash. I have been here numerous times throughout the last couple of years under old management and new. Somehow despite the self serve machines NEVER working, they always accept your money. The water sometimes doesn't spray, the soap is constantly empty, and the brushes are in awful shape. Don't think about getting change to put in the machines either. That, like the rest of the place is broken. If the rest of the business is run like the self serve, you're in trouble.
