I go here because I always get a decent car washing (for automatic) and nothing on my car gets…read morescratched or broken. So, 3-star car wash because that should be expected. The newer staff loses a star because they put little to no effort in the pre-brushing off of the car (and this is for the past couple years now). Sometimes they barely swipe the brush past the vehicle. This is not going to help with dried bird poop. I pay like $15 or $16 for the wash, tip a few bucks to the pre-brush crew, and a few more to the towel-dry guys at the end (who get an extra star), so over $20. I wish it was 5 stars! You can do it guys!!!!

(seats, carpets, etc) This was my first time getting #7, the carpet shampooing package. My kid dropped a large sugary beverage and it spilled all over. I cleaned it the best I could, but the next day my car still had an awful overwhelmingly sweet smell. I felt like I had a brand new car after they were done with it! I've been coming to this car wash for 4 years and they never disappoint. They are pretty fast and efficient. They pay attention to detail and even vacuum my car seats- which I appreciate. I recommend coming early during the week because they get very busy. There's an outdoor seating area while you wait. I usually pick up food nearby and eat. (On Queen St, there's so many food options: Fancy Bagels, Starbucks, Dunkin, Ellie's Farmhouse - our favorite brunch spot... etc. Jersey Mike's, Chipotle, Moe's, Buffalo Wild Wings, iHop, a ton of fast food restaurants, etc. depending on the time of day!) I tell everyone about this place. They are wonderful! It's relatively inexpensive, especially considering that they have consistently done a great job every time. I've never paid more than $70 before tip. Tip is completely optional and they've never asked/ they aren't pushy or expectant about it. You can give a tip directly to them or discretely put it in one of their secure tip boxes. The cost of a wash without any special package is $20-something I think. (I forgot to take a photo of the sign.) They have a punch card for loyalty - and they do a free wash on your birthday! ****The prices in the sign photo attached to my previous review are old, from 2022. Prices have increased since then but they are still very reasonable!***

I walked around the entire building to find an employee for help I couldn't find anyone. Another dog owner drove up with their pet and said that he had called before bringing his dog today and was told over the phone by the staff that the dog wash was open until 5pm. He also discovered that it was closed. It's incredibly inconsiderate of this business to lie over the phone and say they would be open until 5pm when that wasn't true. We will never return. The other dog owner recommended the dog wash at Tractor Supply in Wallingford. We will be going there from now on for our weekly washes.

The 2 dog washing stalls are clean and roomy and they have all the supplies there for you or bring your own. The tubs are elevated so your dog is about waist height. You clip the dogs collar to a short leash that keeps them safely in place and give them a warm bath and dry them with vacs and blowers.

Recently we purchased a new car and happy to bring the new baby in to Americo to get the full treatment of PPF and ceramic coating. We called several places in CT but was super excited to find a place right in town. I immediately loved the fact that there were so many positive reviews and that Americo was super professional and responsive to our questions. Prices were extremely reasonable and turnaround time was quick but more importantly, the work was quality! As there was no attendant, and the number on the machine resulted in me dialing a fax, they said I could come over. I showed the receipt for the platinum car wash I purchased and they said they'd run my car through again. I said that I'd hope they'd run it through as the platinum again. After leaving, I noticed the tire was still as dirty as before, although the other spots of the car had been cleaned. I didn't expect spotless, but was a bit disappointed that the car wasn't as clean as I had hoped -- especially for two times through a wash. Not sure I got the platinum package the second time through as the attendant didn't shine the tires or seem to add any attention to that area.
