The staff was expecting me to arrive and wanted to know what they could do better this time around. I mentioned it was the wheels at my last wash. The staff did a great job prewashing my vehicle and it came out great. Hats off to excellent customer service. Not only are they monitoring Yelp, they're reaching out to customers and reaching out to staff. Mark had included his staff at the Cheshire location on the e-mail chain we had; awesome job! One final note: Tip the guy/gal at the end who dries your car. Another review mentioned it. They're outside in all types of weather and do a nice job post wash. Previous Review: A good place to get your vehicle washed. I come here just for the wash, I haven't done any of the extras they offer. You'll often see people having their cars vac'd out and detailed at the end of the wash tunnel. The staff here is helpful. They'll let you know if they have any specials going on. During the winter, they had pay one price, come as often as you like package. They do a good job prewashing your vehicle when you pull into the tunnel. They use a combo of a pressure washer and wash brush. When you buy the wheel wash, they could do a better job pre cleaning the wheels. After my last wash, my wheels were still pretty dingy. I find it can get pretty busy here during the lunch hour and after work. I've had good luck arriving before lunch to beat the crowds.

It took over an hour for a 40-min service, which would have been fine if they'd used that extra time to do a good job. Unfortunately this was just not worth the money - better to spend a little more at a place that will finish the job.

The newer staff loses a star because they put little to no effort in the pre-brushing off of the car (and this is for the past couple years now). I pay like $15 or $16 for the wash, tip a few bucks to the pre-brush crew, and a few more to the towel-dry guys at the end (who get an extra star), so over $20. I wish it was 5 stars! I walked around the entire building to find an employee for help I couldn't find anyone. Another dog owner drove up with their pet and said that he had called before bringing his dog today and was told over the phone by the staff that the dog wash was open until 5pm. He also discovered that it was closed. It's incredibly inconsiderate of this business to lie over the phone and say they would be open until 5pm when that wasn't true. We will never return. The other dog owner recommended the dog wash at Tractor Supply in Wallingford. We will be going there from now on for our weekly washes.

The 2 dog washing stalls are clean and roomy and they have all the supplies there for you or bring your own. The tubs are elevated so your dog is about waist height. You clip the dogs collar to a short leash that keeps them safely in place and give them a warm bath and dry them with vacs and blowers.

Recently we purchased a new car and happy to bring the new baby in to Americo to get the full treatment of PPF and ceramic coating. We called several places in CT but was super excited to find a place right in town. I immediately loved the fact that there were so many positive reviews and that Americo was super professional and responsive to our questions. Prices were extremely reasonable and turnaround time was quick but more importantly, the work was quality! I showed the receipt for the platinum car wash I purchased and they said they'd run my car through again. I said that I'd hope they'd run it through as the platinum again. After leaving, I noticed the tire was still as dirty as before, although the other spots of the car had been cleaned. I didn't expect spotless, but was a bit disappointed that the car wasn't as clean as I had hoped -- especially for two times through a wash. Not sure I got the platinum package the second time through as the attendant didn't shine the tires or seem to add any attention to that area.

He makes going to the car wash a pleasure , easy drive through and always has towels , sprays and even tire shine as well as good running vacuums ( all this offered even to non members ) Now that's so considerate because most places don't do that He also runs specials and allows you to join and never limits you like some places to only "new customers" Today I had to ask him to refund a car wash because I bought a membership a day or two after and with out hesitation he helped and told me no problem. To me that's the place you want to go for all your car needs , you are treated like a Vip and next door there's a oil change and a nice lounge area with coffee while you wait , can't beat that !!
