I pay like $15 or $16 for the wash, tip a few bucks to the pre-brush crew, and a few more to the towel-dry guys at the end (who get an extra star), so over $20. I wish it was 5 stars! I've been coming to this car wash for 4 years and they never disappoint. They are pretty fast and efficient. They pay attention to detail and even vacuum my car seats- which I appreciate. I recommend coming early during the week because they get very busy. There's an outdoor seating area while you wait. I usually pick up food nearby and eat. (On Queen St, there's so many food options: Fancy Bagels, Starbucks, Dunkin, Ellie's Farmhouse - our favorite brunch spot... etc. Jersey Mike's, Chipotle, Moe's, Buffalo Wild Wings, iHop, a ton of fast food restaurants, etc. depending on the time of day!) I tell everyone about this place. They are wonderful! It's relatively inexpensive, especially considering that they have consistently done a great job every time. I've never paid more than $70 before tip. Tip is completely optional and they've never asked/ they aren't pushy or expectant about it. You can give a tip directly to them or discretely put it in one of their secure tip boxes. The cost of a wash without any special package is $20-something I think. They have a punch card for loyalty - and they do a free wash on your birthday! ****The prices in the sign photo attached to my previous review are old, from 2022. Very disappointed with our experience at Personal Touch Car Wash in Torrington today. My wife…read morebrought in her Mazda 3, she wanted the interior cleaned throughly. One of the guys talked her into a "super cleaning of the interior", which would cost $50 and take half-an-hour. As we were driving away, we noticed a 6.5 inch long slice in the passenger side dashboard. It was very obvious and it was not on the dashboard previously. It looked like someone had taken a razor blade to the dash to make this slice, it had that appearance. So we turned around and went back to Personal Touch for an explanation. The first guy who came out said we didn't see the slice before because the dashboard had been dirty (this is the guy who runs the cash register and didn't even work on the car at all). We asked for the manager, when he came out, he told us it was the imprint of the airbag. He quickly realized that we were not stupid enough to believe that, so he left to go question the employee who had cleaned our interior. When the manager came back again, he said the employee who had cleaned the dash was not wearing or using anything that would have caused that slice, and that our dash was lightly cleaned because it was not that dirty. OK, so how did the slice magically appear there ?? Bottomline is that they are all liars and have ZERO INTEGRITY. I would never say that someone did the damage on purpose, but when an accident does happen, at least be man enough to fess up to your mistake. And an accident did happen here, a 6.5 inch slice is now in my wife's dashboard. I am very unhappy right now, and I would not recommend Personal Touch Car Wash in Torrington to anyone.

He makes going to the car wash a pleasure , easy drive through and always has towels , sprays and even tire shine as well as good running vacuums ( all this offered even to non members ) Now that's so considerate because most places don't do that He also runs specials and allows you to join and never limits you like some places to only "new customers" Today I had to ask him to refund a car wash because I bought a membership a day or two after and with out hesitation he helped and told me no problem. To me that's the place you want to go for all your car needs , you are treated like a Vip and next door there's a oil change and a nice lounge area with coffee while you wait , can't beat that !!
