They do such a great job on both the interior and the exterior. They have different packages that focus on different needs. (seats, carpets, etc) This was my first time getting #7, the carpet shampooing package. My kid dropped a large sugary beverage and it spilled all over. I cleaned it the best I could, but the next day my car still had an awful overwhelmingly sweet smell. I felt like I had a brand new car after they were done with it! I've been coming to this car wash for 4 years and they never disappoint. They are pretty fast and efficient. They pay attention to detail and even vacuum my car seats- which I appreciate. I recommend coming early during the week because they get very busy. There's an outdoor seating area while you wait. I usually pick up food nearby and eat. (On Queen St, there's so many food options: Fancy Bagels, Starbucks, Dunkin, Ellie's Farmhouse - our favorite brunch spot... etc. Jersey Mike's, Chipotle, Moe's, Buffalo Wild Wings, iHop, a ton of fast food restaurants, etc. depending on the time of day!) I tell everyone about this place. They are wonderful! It's relatively inexpensive, especially considering that they have consistently done a great job every time. I've never paid more than $70 before tip. Tip is completely optional and they've never asked/ they aren't pushy or expectant about it. You can give a tip directly to them or discretely put it in one of their secure tip boxes. The cost of a wash without any special package is $20-something I think. (I forgot to take a photo of the sign.) They have a punch card for loyalty - and they do a free wash on your birthday! ****The prices in the sign photo attached to my previous review are old, from 2022. Prices have increased since then but they are still very reasonable!***

Complete rip off. I paid $48 for what amounted to an ordinary car wash…read more When entering the car wash I asked about the interior cleaning and the hand wax. The guy said he could do it, but cautioned me that it'd take some time. About half an hour, he said. I told him I had about an hour available. After going through the car wash I parked it with him and left. I returned 45 minutes later. He explained that less than half the car was waxed, because he'd been busy. But then I discovered that none of the interior had been done. The dash and the console were still covered with dust and the floor mats were still a mess. So I asked him if we could just focus on the interior. He seemed to agree that he could do that, but then left again to go tend to other cars entering the car wash. I waited and waited, while feeling ignored. Nearly an hour after I eventually got in my car and left. $48 lighter, and without even so much as tire dressing. Needless to say - I won't be back.

Manager couldn't wait to get my insurance info and wouldn't let me comment on the issue. I was wrong not to be more aware but they have a very horrible system as the gate lifts way too slow and it should be seen from any height vehicle. You really need to look to see if it's up. My other car washes do not have this issue. Hard to navigate with any type of truck because everything is so low and narrow. Wide turn vehicle is difficult.

The newer staff loses a star because they put little to no effort in the pre-brushing off of the car (and this is for the past couple years now). Sometimes they barely swipe the brush past the vehicle. This is not going to help with dried bird poop. I pay like $15 or $16 for the wash, tip a few bucks to the pre-brush crew, and a few more to the towel-dry guys at the end (who get an extra star), so over $20. I wish it was 5 stars! They all now cost an absurd $10+ MORE than previously for just a basic wash. Further, any non-"member" gets the hard sell every time to join, AND gets told they're not allowed to use the vacuums if they don't join. Simply put, for an extra-premium cost, it's not a pleasant experience whatsoever. Also, there inexplicably is no family/multi-car membership for those with 2-3 cars or at home, so it is simply not viable economically to buy 2-3 monthly memberships.

This past month Russell Speeders increased my monthly fee for the unlimited car washes from $29 per month to $49 per month without even notifying me. This increase showed up on my checking account statement. No warning, no phone call, no email, no mail, they just raise the rate because they thought they could. I was stunned with this poor business practice that Russell Speeders does apparently to almost every customer This business should be investigated by the State of Connecticut consumer protection immediately for their deceptive business practices. I feel bad for the employees of this establishment because they actually are very nice. Management is terrible. Upper management is possibly the worst. $29 a month to $49 a month with no warning.
