Koren was super pleasant to work with all around. Fast, clear communication before the initial meeting. A lot of a great ideas during the initial meeting, for how to keep our project within budget, and where it was worth splurging or dialing back. We had requested a bid on two main projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were shocked by how much of the "bonus" projects we could fit in, and yet felt very confident with Koren's insights that these were realistically within our budget. The formal quote came in REALLY fast after our meeting, and was very easy to follow and extremely fairly priced. Was very impressed with how quickly they were ready to begin the work, and the forethought of asking us if we planned to "live-in" during the remodel vs. get an AirBNB or the like. He came out the next day to have a look and recommended capping the existing concrete as the quickest and most affordable option. He wasn't the cheapest quote, but he had good suggestions for improving the look, the leveling, and drainage which was also important for us. He and his crew came out the next week and finished the job in a day. It looks great (we get compliments), it's all usable space now and it drains much better. I'd give five stars, but he left his blower at home and so left our furniture and other things covered in concrete dust from a little demo they had to do. That said, I would recommend you get a quote from Juan if you need concrete work.

We bought/stained pressure treated lumber and did the demo work of pulling up the old porch. We soon discovered to our dismay that the underlying frame and columns holding up the veranda were varying degrees of rotted-out and needed to be replaced entirely. We wanted the job done right, and so we decided to find a contractor to work with. After doing some research on Yelp, I reached out to a handful of deck building specialists. Originally, Deck N Cable Railing wasn't even on my radar. Yelp has the function that if you click a button, it'll automatically duplicate your request and send it to an additional handful of businesses. I didn't even realize that I had accidentally done this. I'm so glad I did because Deck N Cable Railing was one of the businesses that Yelp sent my way. First off, they were very fast at responding to my request for info. They reached out, asked for a bit of additional information, and then offered to come out to give a free estimate in person within 24 hours. Juan Pena, the owner, arrived on time for the appointment. He listened attentively to our needs and evaluated the job that needed to be done quickly, efficiently, and thoroughly. He was sensitive to our desire to not let the lumber we had already bought/stained go to waste and made a plan to utilize it. He was also able to give us a quote on the spot which was really helpful. On the day of the installation, Juan arrived with his crew members, Jovial and Alejandro, to help get this situated for the job before he left for the day to attend to other projects. Jovial and Alejandro spoke limited English, but they used their smartphones and Google Translate to communicate with me when a question came up and so communication worked out just fine. Jovial and Alejandro were friendly, professional,and very hard workers. They were fast and fastidious and kept the job site neat. Juan had said that it may take up to two days to finish the job, but his crew were almost complete by the end of the first day. There was a minor issue with the frame visibly sticking out just a bit at one corner of the terminating edge of the porch. It wasn't a structural issue, more of a minor cosmetic issue, but I discussed the issue with Juan, and he immediately came up with a suitable solution to address my concerns. He joined Jovial and Alejandro on the morning of the second day of the installation to personally inspect their work. The job was finished within an hour or two on the second day. All in all, Juan and his team did an excellent job with the porch. It looks fantastic and feels exceptionally sturdy. We're very happy with the quality of the work, and we are looking forward to enjoying it for many years to come. We'd recommend Deck N Cable Railing without reservation based on the quality and efficiency of their work alone, but that's not the only reason you should consider giving them a call. Juan was very easy to work with. He's professional, responsive, friendly, and conscientious. He takes a lot of pride in his work and it's important to him that his clients are 100% satisfied with the work done. Moreover, his pricing is very reasonable. His quote for the job was by far the most reasonably and competitively priced bid. Finally, and this is a bit embarrassing, I accidentally overpaid for the job. I paid Juan in cash, handing him an envelope with cash, without realizing that I had miscounted it. Imagine my surprise when I got a call from Juan that evening (apologizing for calling so late!), to let me know that I overpaid him, and he wanted to schedule a time when it was convenient for me for him to stop by in person to return the amount I overpaid. That's integrity, folks. If, like me, Deck N Cable Railing isn't on your radar, they should be. Solid 5 stars.

He did a great job making the vision come alive and was transparent with any problems that arises (and importantly fixing them when necessary). He was friendly, fair with pricing, and also very quick-- framing and installation took only 2 separate, spread out days (to allow for drywalling and parts arrival in between). My personal experience with him in terms of communication was excellent, but I also purposefully avoided peak summer season so as not to catch him at a busy time. I was a case-study in how NOT to maintain my dryer duct: It had been almost 20 years since it had been cleaned. We bought a new drier, which shut down due to restricted air flow. I had had a competitor come out the day before Omer's visit; while friendly, all they had was a hand-operated floppy brush more suited to HVAC ducts. They had no luck, and suggested I just move the dryer out to the garage and put in a new duct! Omer arrived with 2 different cameras, and a range of stiff brushes which he worked with his drill, in very tight spaces, and was finally able to dislodge what must have been a 10#, soaking wet mass of lint. He installed an upgraded flexible duct and a new outside duct cover, and cleaned everything up. I've learned my lesson: call Lady Bird out annually, and request Omer!

We had two tank water heaters installed in our attic when we built our house in 2013. One of them started leaking last Christmas, and when we received a quote from Radiant, it was around the $4k range to replace just the one tank! We decided we could live with the other usable tank and have been doing so since 2018. Here the holiday's come rolling around again, and our 2nd tank decided to leak!! We received a quote through Costco, and decided we would opt for the tankless because of all the benefits and were prepared for the price to be higher than what Radiant quoted us because it is a tankless, plus we've used the Costco program for other installed house items in the past and were extremely pleased with the service and product. We had to delay our purchase for a few days for funds to transfer to our bank. In the meantime, I ran into some friends who's water heaters started leaking on Thanksgiving and they told us about the great experience and price through Mr. Tankless. So I decided to get a quote from them and filled out a contact form through the website on a Sunday evening. Bob emailed back a few hours later and said he can come by early on Monday for an assessment and quote. He came early, and offered a bid that was several thousand less than the Costco quote! We were in dire need of replacing our tank because of the bad leak and the fact that the builders had installed the tanks in the attic over one of the kiddo's bedrooms. It was a dangerous situation and he suggested for safety's sake, we turn off the hot water tank until we can get a replacement...basically we won't have hot water during the coldest month of the year. When Bob said he had an opening the next day for installation and that it would only take a handful of hours to do so, we jumped on it! We have had our Rinnai Tankless water heater for a few days now and we are soooo thankful we heard about this company at the right time. And with Texas Gas Service, there is also a $650 rebate. Install went flawlessly and we saved a ton of $$ going through Mr. Tankless. Our upstairs water heater was leaking, so I contacted our home warranty company. They dispatched a plumber who stuck his head in the attic, briefly looked at the water heater and stated, "Yep, it needs replacing." Fine I thought, but I was really interested in a tankless system. After some running around with the plumbers they finally quoted me a price for close to $6000. They also stated they would need to make modification to vent out the roof. Needless to say, I decided to get a second opinion. I called Bob to see about getting an estimate. He happened to be in our area and came by in less than an hour. Bob, actually crawled all the way into my attic and inspected the old water heater. He looked at the date and it was close to 20 years old. It had a good life let's say. Bob did some estimating and stated he could put a tankless system in that could replace both of our water heaters (as I knew the other system would need replacing shortly). Bob's quote came in way less than $6000 and he stated there would be no need to make modification to the roof as he could utilize an existing vent. Two days later Bob and his crew came out promptly at 08:00. By a little after noon they had installed the new system and removed both of my old water heaters. Bob then spent time showing me how to operate the system as well as discussed the maintenance. Our family couldn't be happier with our new heater. Bob @ Mr. Tankless returned my voice message within 5 minutes of us leaving a message. He was energetic, conscientious and knowledgeable as he asked very pertinent questions regarding the issues we were having with our current tankless water system and based on the information we provided, we were able to set up an appointment within several days for him or a technician to come out and confirm what he thought was happening. His technician Brandon came out several days later was very cordial also knowledgeable looked at our water heating system explained to us and easy to understand terms what was going on and what our options were. There was no sales pressure by anybody to get a new unit or change out or concerns if something were to go bad they would be able to get out within a decent amount of time to decide to replace the 12-year-old unit which had never been serviced. Two days later we had a new tankless water heater in our attic; it works so much better and they cleaned out the shower heads checked all the faucets to make sure they're operating correctly, did plenty of tests and we couldn't be happier with the timing, the pricing and the service that Bob and Brandon provided. And they cleaned up the place after their work. Just like it should be. It's nice to have great water pressure coming out of our faucets and showers again! When I was getting ready to replace a tank with a tankless, I called two different guys to come look and estimate - one of them was Bob. He was very informative and straightforward, gave me an estimate for the whole job and told me what all it would entail (including getting a rebate from the gas company). The other guy was entirely different, even seemed reluctant to take on the job, so my choice was easy. Bob and his helper got the unit installed pretty quickly, came back out when a switch on my air conditioner system had been inadvertently turned off, and were pretty efficient overall. And, in an above-and-beyond effort, when I was unhappy that the heater did not seem to be able to use my existing hot water recirculating system, he switched it out with the recirculating model and only charged me what he said was the difference in price. He also arranged for the required inspection, etc. to complete the rebate application. (Unfortunately, because of the type of gas pipe used when my house was built to supply the furnace and water heater, I was required by the inspector to install a wire to ground the gas supply to the electrical box on the other side of the house - the cost of having that done was more than 3/4 of the rebate amount. Bummer - but not Bob's fault at all.) In my opinion, Bob is a good, hard-working (busy) guy. read more

We've had tankless water heaters since our house was built and liked the concept but the company that installed the systems didn't quite cut it. Eventually were down to one heater as the other seized up and both needed to be replaced. After a quick phone discussion with Bob he was able to do an in person consult on short notice and was shocked with what he saw my previous plumbers had done with our system. Pictures can only describe it. Needless to say Bob was right on it, explained to me what we needed, said he could clean up the area, and within a week was installing two Rinnai tankless water heaters, one with a recirculation pump. His team was professional, very competent, timely and was able to clean up the mess my last installer/plumber had left. The system works great! Mr Tankless recently installed our Navien tankless water heater and removed our old tank water heater from our attic. The entire install experience with Mr Tankless was exceptional! I called them on a Thursday and they were there within a couple of days. They gave me a very fair priced quote for the tankless water heater install. Their customer service was amazing, explaining everything thoroughly and answering all questions. They did not rush or use any pressure tactics to use them vs other companies. We were very impressed with the entire process from quote to installation, with the added bonus of a very fair price. (Note: We got quotes from other companies, some of these other companies simply want to price gouge customers for significantly more $ and pressure customers into overpriced water heater systems) We are so happy we found Mr Tankless! Mr Tankless was fairly priced, great to work with, prompt, responsive, knowledgeable and very thorough throughout the process. We recently got a new tankless water heater, witch was both purchased from and installed by Mr. Tankless. We got two quotes from other places before deciding to go with them and it was well worth the time to shop around. The other places told me that tankless systems are ONLY made with 3/4" connections, which my home does not have. The expense of changing those pipes and connections to fit most systems more than doubled the cost. Mr. Tankless was aware of and sold a system with 1/2" connections, which saved us a few thousand dollars. They did a great job on the install, which included some unexpected rerouting of the vent, and they stuck to the original quote despite the extra time that took. I really appreciated that. One of the pipes above the new heater sprung a small leak after about a month, but I simply texted Mr. Tankless and he walked me through what I could do to stop the leak until he could come out the next day to fix it. I would definitely recommend this company to anybody looking for a new water heater. They're easy to work with and do what they say they will do. Great Customer Service / Responsive and Transparent Pricing. I wanted my tankless water heater flushed as I know hard water deposit build up and impact water pressure and performance. Bob at Mr. Tankless responded immediately to my inquiry immediately and told me the cost to perform the flush. He sent someone the next day and that tech (Martin) showed up on time, did a great job, told me what he was doing and answered my questions. Straight forward pricing, on time, good service, that is all I ask.. A a comparison, I had reached out to Home Advisor to search for companies to perform this work. NOT ONE of them (8 companies I called) would provide a cost estimate or even a range, they all wanted to send out a tech, charge me a "dispatch" fee, and the tech would tell me the price at that time. CRAZY, they hope that you will just accept whatever price the tech says otherwise you get hit the $75 fee. That might make sense for a unknown issue they need to diagnose, But NOT for a FLUSH... that is a clearly defined job that will take the same amount of effort/time +/- 10 minutes... read more

Thank you Mr Tankless for always being so reliable, honest, affordable and prompt. I put a sticky pad under and close to the back of the water heater as soon as you repaired it to catch any bug, roach or gecko lizard so it wouldn't get into the tankless water heater and destroy it again. I thought the sticky pad was falling but it was that a lizard had tried getting into water heater again and got caught on sticky pad.... Thanks for getting water heater fixed asap and will keep those pads around it and on floor to catch all those bugs and geckos so they don't ruin it again. If you need a tankless water heater Mr Tankless is the company/person to call as we had first one destroyed due to a flood and hired another person to install 2nd one and he didn't do a good job so we had to buy a 3rd one and Mr Tankless installed it and we never had a problem with it until bugs and geckos ruined the fan last week... so called Mr Tankless and he saved us an expense of buying a new one by replacing the busted fan. Initially, it seemed like Bob did a pretty good job. However, after moving into the home, I soon realized that the unit was not mounted in a centralized enough location so other parts of the home could receive hot water in a timely manner. Instead, it wastes who knows how many hundreds or thousands of gallons of water monthly waiting for it to warm up on that side of the house. We even paid to have the gas line ran to the spot it was installed so really it could have been placed anywhere since the gas line was being installed anyway. In the end, I addressed it with him and asked him to move it and make it right. He stated the General Contractor suggested that spot to have quick hot water to the master bathroom. I am unsure this is true as it wasn't discussed with us. However, as the expert we feel he should have known that by mounting it far to one side of the home could be problematic for the other side of the home. Or, at least he could have mentioned it as a possible issue along with some suggested solutions. He declined to help. read more

* Bob arrived right when he said he would for both the initial estimate, the install and the follow-up to finish up the venting. He fit us in quickly as we had a fairly urgent situation (old tank in the attic was already leaking badly) * Bob explained the various options (where to locate the new tankless heater, whether to include recirculation) and costs without pushing us in any particular direction. I had done a fair amount of research on the pros and cons over the past year and felt that everything he explained lined up with my expectations. Price also seemed reasonable. * The initial install was quick and tidy (Rinnai RUR 98i gas tankless in the attic where the old gas tank was previously). We had hot water going within a couple of hours. * Since the weather was so cold at install time Bob wanted to come back to finish the venting on the roof when the weather was warmer in order to avoid damaging brittle shingles. A week or so later he came back and finished up right when he said he would. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. read more

I am helping my sister manage a rental property that has a tankless water heater. I got a call on a Saturday night that the hot water had stopped working. I know nothing about Tankless water heater, so I researched the model and found that Mr Tankless had great reviews on yelp and installed and service them. I reached out to them and received a call back, unfortunately bob was in Dallas but made a suggestion on how to check the control module. He said that if that didn't work he would come out and look at it. I did what he suggested and unfortunately it did not fix the problem. He cam out the next day and found the problem, which turned out to be a GFI outlet, that we had no idea it was tied to. He reset it and low and behold it worked. He did not charge me for the service call at all! The reviews I read on his company were great and now I know why. He will be go to guy for all of my future hot water needs. Thank you Mr Tankless! Bob was great to come out the very next day when our hot water heaters died. Installation was fast, he and his staff were all very efficient, friendly and respectful. Pricing was right on par with another quote we were given. After installation issues 1) We had a weird pressure issue in our master bath which Bob came right back out to address when we texted him. It was our shower head and had nothing to do with the new tankless heater, but he fixed the issue regardless. 2) The unit we had installed has a wifi module so that we could operate the tank remotely, which gave us a heck of a time. Not anything that was Bob's fault at all, it is all in the not so great app that Rinnai wrote. We learned that they have a new app and once we installed that, everything seems to be running smoothly. We appreciate the great customer service that Bob provided while we got the kinks worked out, and in such a crazy time with COVID making everything more complicated. read more

My 2 gas water heaters went out the same day at 7 1/2 years old. I started calling around and found out this was about as long as gas water heaters lasted. Then I heard how much it was going to cost for 2 new ones, and I couldn't believe I would have to anticipate spending that much every 6 or 7 years to replace them again. So I decided to look into tankless since they are supposed to last 20+ years. I talked to several plumbers including Bob from Mr. Tankless whom I hired not only because his quote was far more reasonable than any others but also because he was the most knowledgeable, the most willing to answer any question I had, the most responsive, he was punctual, respectful, and even kind and considerate. Mr.Tankless Plumbing Service is the Best. Our water closet in the master bath was a disaster. There was water constantly coming from the toilet and we didn't know how. We were constantly mopping up water and we thought it was there wax ring so we just knew the toilet needed to come off the floor. I called Mr tankless he was busy on another job but he informed me as soon as he finished that job he would come to help us. I mean as soon as he was finished he gave us a call and was at our house within 20 minutes, without going into detail it wasn't the wax ring but, him and his partner took care of it in about 10 minutes. They reassured us that it all was well. You can't be that kind of service with a stick and I mean a BIG Stick. Bob just left our house after installing a tankless water heater. Can't say enough good about this experience. Bob and his employee arrived right when they said they would....same thing that happened when he came by to talk with us about this project. They were both super friendly and fun to do business with. They worked very efficiently and were in and out in the time they estimated, and did not upset our household routine in the least. Bob explained everything as he went along, and at the end of the installation, walked up through the operation of the unit and operating pad. He even made sure we had everything we needed in order to complete the registration of the unit. Long story short, if you have decided to go with a tankless hot water heater, look no further than Mr Tankless. I had done research on systems, and had talked to other plumbers. Bob proposed going with Rinnai, which my research suggests is the top system (it's also harder to install, which is why other plumbers were pushing inferior products). Bob came to my house, quickly assessed the situation, and gave me a fair price. Their whole approach to the installation was almost surgical - they seemed to know exactly what they were doing and worked efficiently without making a mess. He has followed up with me on numerous occasions to make sure everything is working properly, and he responds almost IMMEDIATELY when I text him with a question. Bob is honest, and very good at what he does. They specialize in tankless installation and service, and it was abundantly apparent. I would highly recommend Mr. Tankless! read more

Bob is the best tankless installer in town IMO. Our tankless water heater (which he installed originally) finally died after 11 years of faithful service on a Saturday night and he answered my texts, and scheduled me on Monday morning for a replacement. When he showed up, he had brought a slightly upgraded unit at no extra cost because the original unit had a dent in it and another unit wasn't available from the supplier. The install was quick and painless and the price charged was fair. I suspect Bob may not be the cheapest option at all times, but considering the fact that he replies to texts on nights and weekends immediately, makes time to resolve customer issues as fast as possible, and has been unfailingly honest every time I have had him install a tankless or service it, I don't mind paying potentially a touch more to support one of the truly good guys in the business here in Austin. read more

Mr. Tankless installed a Rinnai Tankless water heater for us (Model RUR199IP - Propane re-circulation unit off a well). They called confirmed our appointment and coordinated showing up earlier than original appointment. Total unit and installation price quoted was on par with the two other bids we received. There was no additional cost above the quoted price. Text Bob pictures of the job/location and he generally can give you an instant quote. Their expert crew finished the job in 3 hours, without any mess and hauled away our old traditional water heater. I now get hot water in the master bath sinks, tub and shower in 15 seconds versus a full minute of wasted water. Note: This was a first floor easy access install job. We received multiple bids on converting our home from two 50 gallon natural gas hot water heaters to the Rinnai RUR199iN unit that would serve our whole house. While the cost was 300% higher than replacing the one failed heater, the quote from Mr. Tankless was the most reasonable and we decided to have them do the job. We chose to go with the tankless since I have had multiple heaters fail in attic installations and more than 1 have caused damage to the home. Bob is honest and straightforward. He does what he says he will do for the cost agreed to. He was always on time for the 4 visits he had. The actual installation was completed by Bob and 2 of his assistants in one morning (4 hours). We were completely satisfied with the work. An hour after he left though the call came. It was Jack. He said "something has happened that I have never had happen before". I thought, "certainly he has left a tool or something behind at our house". He then went on to say "I have one of your chickens". He had left the roll up door on his box truck open while working. We have free range chickens and apparently one of them wanted to check out his truck! Of course not expecting that, when he was done he secured the truck and went to his next job, which was an hour away. We were out of town by then and couldn't do anything. Jack said he had two jobs to finish but would drop the chicken back off afterward. Sure enough, several hours later (and no doubt an exciting adventure for the chicken) Jack dropped off the chicken, and took a photo of her back home. Yet somehow the story was still not over. An hour after that Jack texted again with a picture and said "I got an egg"!!!! Apparently she was so happy with her trip she left him what she could! She was back out the next day, hoping Jack would come back so she could ride along again! This company is first rate. Every time. We recently had our spring HVAC checkup, and when the technician left, we thought the AC was working. We had Champion follow up with estimates for new systems (ours are old). At the end of this, our AC units weren't working! It turns out that either the initial technician, or the technician who was providing an estimate for new systems, had left the breakers off at our two main compressors. Intentional? Probably just negligent. But a homeowner who just wanted working AC would have been stymied. Champion's service contracts are significantly overpriced, vis-à-vis the competition. My advice - stay away from this company. They only want to sell you overpriced services and systems.
