With the name of the business you would assume they offer 'swift service', but they do not. Cleaning takes up to 4 days for a simple men's dress shirt. read more

The tailor there is rude and not helpful. I went in twice recently to get my suit fitted. She had a terrible attitude. She doesn't speak English and if you tell her I don't understand she will give you a terrible attitude and then she won't talk. she will tell you it fits when it obviously doesn't I think this is because she doesn't want to do it. She does nothing to make you feel comfortable. She will not greet you or even say goodbye. read more

I was rushing out of town and put two of my son's suits in the cleaner. They rushed to clean the suits and when I picked up the items they told me that they put the money left in the suit pocket in a bag and attached it to the suits. I nonchalantly thanked them and paid for the order thinking it was $4 or $5. When I got home, we discovered that it was $150 that someone gave our son as a graduation gift. How respectful for them to return the cash. We thank you for your service and honesty! read more

Fantastic cleaners! We tried this Cleaners for the first time because we needed to try another dry cleaner that would get the shirt collars and cuffs clean! Gabardine pants are a good indicator of quality work for a dry cleaner. It's easy to mess up the long flat areas around the seam when pressing. I brought some pants there for alterations (repairing a torn pocket on both pairs) and also cleaning. The work was excellent and corrected an improper pressing job by the previous cleaners. Mr Swifty has been around for a long time and deserves the excellent reputation it has in the community. read more

This cleaners has poor customer service and high prices. The young people behind the counter need a serious attitude adjustment. One of the young ladies charged another customer much less than I was charged to dry clean a similar dress. This customer and I were a few feet apart. I asked the young lady behind the counter why. She couldn't give an answer but she gave me the adjustment along with a rude comment. interesting how they give certain people better dry cleaning prices! I'm taking my dry cleaning to a different cleaners now. I'm spending $60-$65 per order instead of $100 per order when I took my clothes to Mr. Swifty. They are the worst when it comes to handling fine garments. They've faded several of my items. When I spoke with the owner about my faded items, she shrugged her shoulders. No compensation nor was an apology offered. I see where the young ladies get the rude attitude from. Mr. Swifty cleaners has poor customer service. Their prices are way too high and they fade your clothes. They offer attitude and rudeness as they take your money!!! read more

Horrible policies and customer service! They're extremely high for basic cleaning. Due to Chicago's horrible winter it took me a while to pick up my clothes. When I went to pick them up, I found out that they were donated to any number of local charities and women's shelters! I did not realize that their policy is anything gets donated after 30 days! I don't know of any other cleaners with that policy. I cannot tell you how livid I am right now. That ticket was pretty small for me at $23.00 but the clothes were well worth over $400! read more

Horrible customer service. I went here as a trial since my old cleaners had closed. I was charged for something that wasn't on my original bill only to be told that it was a human mistake and that I would have to pay for it regardless. I was told they called to inform me of this and they did not. When I called to speak to a manager, I was not connected to a manager but another clerk, Nicole, who was rude and talked over me while I was trying to talk to her. If you want to be ripped off and treated rudely, then this is the place to go. read more

I went in to have a bridesmaid dress taken in and pants hemmed. I was worried about the price and amount of time it would take to have the dress back. The price was fantastic ($20 for the dress) and they had it done in about a week. The staff was friendly and the results were great. read more

They do good work. I have gone to other cleaners in the area but no one cleans my dress shirts as good. The white shirts come back clean in the collar and inside of the sleeves. Two other cleaners left stains and spots even after redoing my clothes. The prices are on the high side though (one less star for that). But compare the quality with its competitors. If you want crisp and clean over price, choose Mr. Swifty. read more

I have been a customer for 16 years and I've never had a problem. They are pretty pricey though. I like the tailor and only use theirs when I need something hemmed. Everyone is nice and they participate in Manna so that's even better. read more

It's been about 3 months now. This is the best cleaners I've ever used. My shirts are clean and crisp when I get them back. My suits and dress pants look great. My sweaters look great. Outstanding so far. No issues, my clothes are ready when they say they'll be ready...all is well. I highly recommend them. read more

My husband and I moved to Beverly a couple years ago and were excited to have (what we thought was) a nice dry cleaners relatively close to our home. Twice, my husband's dress shirt got a strange large, dark spot after being dry cleaned there. The first time I chalked it up to something we might not have seen before bringing it in, but the second time, I knew that was definitely not the case, so I brought it back. They tried to clean it again for us (free of charge); however, the spot never came out and both shirts were unwearable with the large spots. I also had an incredibly negative experience there yesterday when I brought in a formal dress to be dry cleaned. A female employee, who was not the one assisting me and hadn't even seen the dress (as it was folded), rudely remarked that they are not responsible for any damage done to a dress with beading... then she said something to the effect of "sometimes the dress gets ruined and sometimes it does not". Well, that wasn't very reassuring, so I opted not to let them try as I didn't want to take that chance. I would not recommend Mr. Swifty Cleaners due to the lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and high prices (compared with the rest of the area). read more
