If there's one thing this place is awesome for, it's late night snacks and catch-ups with friends. The menu is very diverse, from veggies like cauliflower and chives to meat like chicken and beef. They also have dessert options such as icy rice. There are a lot of drink options available too, which range from aloe drinks to milk tea to alcoholic options such as beer and soju. The lady who works here is amazing, and always so welcoming, and the space is very home-y, which works well with the relaxed vibes.

I always beg my best friend to bring me here. It is our go-to skewer place! It is absolutely amazing and they serve the best-tasting skewers in NYC, in my opinion! The food is always super flavorful and consistent. The service is great! The food isn't too spicy and is just the right amount of saltiness. I get the fish tofu, beef stick, bacon wrapped enoki mushrooms, chives, cauliflower, chicken wings, Korean rice cakes, squid legs, tendon and more. Prices are cheap and affordable. Just 10/10 overall

Mr. Q has been one of my go-to skewers places. Not to confuse with the other Mr. Q, this one is the best one out of the lot. It's a homey atmosphere and the lady is very accommodating. The items are reasonable prices and great for sharing. It's open till late so a great after-party hangout spot if you want with your friends. I can't recommend this place enough!

Since moving to LA, I've missed eats like this in Brooklyn. Nothing better than coming here with friends late in the night for a quick bite with a nice beverage. So when I was visiting NY, I just had to make a trip to get skewers. I don't know where to get something like this in LA yet so I've beeen so excited to get! Some of my favorites are fish egg ball, bacon enoki mushroom, korean rice cakes, and chives. But I think everything here is a hit! There's probably 3-4 Mr. Q's in the vicinity and they're all similar

I've been coming to this restaurant for years and I love how it's always open late. People would lower this rating bc of the service but I don't expect the best service for a hole in a wall place or a late night snack place. I never could find good milk tea icy rice and this place has the best one.

Definitely recommend this place ! The food is amazing and very affordable. One of the best parts about the place is that they're opened until 3am!

This place really grew on me. They don't really have that many options of noodles even though this place is called mr. Q's noodle house. I've ordered a few different noodles but the broth pretty much all taste the same. I love their food on a stick options. They are inexpensive so you can try many different things. I think I'm being generous with 4 stars because the place is not great but very safe meaning there is absolutely nothing wrong with the food. However, the energy or fung shui of the place is weird. I actually like that it's awkwardly quite but I can imagine they'd want more business. The waitress just takes your order and brings your food and doesn't really provide any type of service. I don't mind that she is always engaged on her phone but if they want more business, they have to liven the place up. I will always return here though. I enjoy going here.

I came here with friends several times in the past and each and every time we left, we left satisfied and full. This place is famous for its meat skewers and Chinese delicacies offered at a reasonable price. The menu has a wide variety of meats priced at no more than about 3 dollar each. My friends and I would go down the menu and try to order everything to fee satisfy and just to get a taste of everything they offer. My personal favorites are the chicken, beef, lamb, cauliflower, mushrooms, chicken wing and fish tofu. The list can go on. You also have the option of making your order spicy as the server would sprinkle cumin powder on top of your skewer. The ambiance and vibe here are amazing. It's a relatively small venue but you can sit and chill here with your friends for as long as you want. There are also many drink options in the fridge. My personal favorites are the traditional Chinese herbal and milk teas. Also, they're famous for their "ice rice." Overall, I'm always satisfied with my experiences here and I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area and looking for a quick and inexpensive bite to eat.

Very cheap and delicious!! My friend and I were in the area and were looking for a light snack when we stumbled upon this place! We went in right at 2pm, which is when they open, and we felt like such losers since this place is mainly for late night snacking but whatever. The lights were dim and tables/chairs are wooden but clean. The server doesn't speak Cantonese but does understand English. Out of all the skewers that we ordered, my favorite was the Bacon asparagus! Fried tofu was great as well and had a nice marinade to it. Chicken, lamb, and fish balls were good and had a great flavor to them. Beef was only alright since it was a little dry. For the 6 skewers, we ended up only paying $5 each...WHAT? It is highly likely that I will be back lol...

sweet potato fries no fresh and cold , delivery guy super bad attitude never ever order again. Don't waste ur money here! it's no worth !

I asked to sub rice for noodles because one of my kids is a rice pot (can't go without rice) and requested extra sauce, which they kindly provided. The set meals are a fantastic deal; a full size entree, an appetizer and a drink for $19-20. An extra order of noodles is $2.50 and it's really double the amount of noodles that comes in your entree. I also ordered their new dish with has abalone and sea cucumber; this is not part of a set meal. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It has that umami sweetness that comes from a great soup base and the noodles are delicious as usual. The abalone was tender, the sea cucumber had a bite to it. There was fish maw and wood ear in there as well.

I've tried the fish maw soup rice noodles, and the tom yum soup noodles - both have good broth, but the tom yum was spicy and hot in temperature, so it was hard to eat it quickly. My mom tried the Chicken Fish Maw soup noodles and thought the chicken was not of the best quality, so I'd avoid that in the future. They have set meals that come with a side and drink, but those limit you to three options. I got sold on buying the gift cards to maximize spend, so I have a few more visits. I'm looking forward to trying the dry noodles because summer is just around the corner!

I tried the wontons in spicy peanut sauce. It was different because I'm use to chili wontons. The spicy peanut sauce wasn't spicy. The peanut sauce itself is pretty thick, so I would recommend dipping it in the accompanying dipping sauce to balance the flavors. I would try the spicy peanut wontons again. I also tried the pork soup dumplings, which took some time to cook. It arrives very hot, so give it some time to cool off, maybe 5-10 minutes. The soup dumplings were mid, maybe I would try the truffle soup dumplings if I came back. I love how the dumplings are made in house

However, the real negative here is the operations. It is a chaotic mess for the volume they are trying to do. It's not about adding more manpower, it's about streamlining. Tables are sitting empty while people are on the waitlist (not due to reservations), orders are going to the wrong tables, to-go orders are in disarray and have to be re-verified on multiple orders, and it takes a long time to get some water. The Yelp waitlist is useless here - wait was supposed to be 5-10 minutes and it turned into almost 40. All this could have been avoided with more planning, better organization, and training. Kitchen staff doing their job well. Front of house needs work.

One of the best bowls of noodles I had in any part of NYC. Comparable to my top favorite shops like Maxi's Noodle House, Golden Wonton King, and Sweet Wonton House. On my most recent visit, I watched the staff make some of their plump and juicy wontons. They use such a high ratio of shrimp to pork, which makes them absolutely delicious. I can't get enough of them. With that said, their beef brisket and noodles are no slouches. That's why I got a bowl of Wonton & Beef Brisket Noodle Soup to be able to taste everything I enjoy the most here. I'll be back asap. Btw, buy the wontons frozen and enjoy them at home. I always leave with a few boxes.
