Adding a star. Service has been much friendlier lately. Donuts fresher, too! This location is always clean inside. I have noticed that when we go in and order a couple of donuts vs. a dozen, they pull the donuts from the baking tray, which are very fresh. The donuts, especially the marble maple, pulled from the display case don't seem as fresh. So, I started asking for my donuts off the baking tray, when available. I rarely order a dozen donuts, usually only one or two. Fresh is always best. They definitely need to be worth the calories ;-D

The staff was super nice, the donuts were huge and the prices are reasonable. Was in the area and thought to get snacks for the family. Got half-dozen with 2 fritters, 2 bars, a frosted, and creme filled total was around $14, which is not bad at all. Since I can't eat gluten, I can't give a personal review on taste but family said they were great. I do have to say the fritters are HUGE, like bigger than my head. Also, the were good 2 days later (just needed a little heat to soften up). If you need donuts, I say give them a try!

The donuts are pretty good. Service is ok. We stop in every now and again when we get gyros next door. They have a variety of donuts to choose from but to me they taste all the same.

Mr. Maple Donuts in Hazel Dell are so good. Service is excellent. They have a double maple bar that has maple cream in the middle. Go here if you have a craving for maple bars! Oh my god! I don't eat donuts often but offer me a MAPLE donut. YES Please and Thank you.

I don't eat donuts often, but when I do... It's Mr Maple! These are seriously high quality donuts at very average prices and in my opinion far more delicious than any "gourmet" donuts you'll get for $5 a pop in Portland these days. True to their name, the maple bars are absolutely delicious - whether you get the marble bar, regular maple bar, or maple stuffed bar (a little too much maple for me!). The best jelly filled is definitely the guava - so good! We have always gone on the weekends at peak times (~9-11am) and they have never been out of any flavors. The donuts always taste freshly baked and their dough is perfectly chewy, never dry. Is your mouth watering yet? The only issue I have with Mr Maple and the reason for 4 stars is their coffee. I've tried their coffee a couple times and it just isn't good and super watery. Whenever I get a donut I want coffee to go with it and have to go somewhere else for the coffee. Fortunately Brewed Awakenings has a stand in the parking lot and we usually grab coffee from there on our way out, but makes for a lot of time in line and I wish they just had a decent drip coffee at Mr Maple.

Yum. The classic donuts are fancy and the fancy donuts are extra fancy. Huge selection and super tasty. They never get my selections right when I order delivery but everything is still tasty. My favorites are the double maple bars and the kids love all the different colored frosted selections. I highly recommend this local donut place any time. Be warned though: everything is very sweet. I can usually only eat a half of a donut. read more

Donuts are pretty good. Been here a few times. But the customer service is subpar in the store each time and today just put the icing on the cake (or donut...). I was sending a friend to pick up a dozen for my husbands birthday. I called and asked if I could pay over the phone. The woman told me "call back in the afternoon" (it's 3:30pm when I called). I said "the order is for pick up this afternoon, hour or so, but I want to pay" her reply "we are busy just come in" click. Hung up. Okay terrible customer service. A simple "we are busy right now, do you mind coming in?" Would have been a much nicer way. Instead we will find donuts elsewhere. read more

I've been to the Hazel Dell location. Good verity, really nice staff, but kind of a typical donut selection. It's not that further of a drive to krispy cream which I think is a little better. I would go again if convenience from I5 was a priority read more

They are hit and miss sometimes the donuts are fresh frequently they are not. Usually they have a good selection sometimes they don't. I just purchased an apple fritter that was rock hard over cooked and a cherry fritter not the apple fritter I ordered. Vo Doo Donuts is opening soon by Vancouver Mall. There donuts are fresh! In the future I'll choose quality over convenience and go to Vo Doo Donuts. If I'm going to eat a desert with no redeeming caloric value I want to enjoy it, I did not enjoy the chewy charcoal cherry fat pill. I won't go back again! read more

Went back a few weeks ago around 4pmish on a Sat. Donuts were not quite fresh and instead of being ultra amazing, soft, and delicious that they were last time, they were a bit stale. Still a bit better than grocery store donuts, but not quite as much. My friends and I will give it another go next time we're around, but if there is a repeat in the lack of freshness, we may not return. read more

This is my kids new favorite donut place (replacing Krispy Kreme). They love the simple sugar donuts and glazed and I prefer the fritters. The prices are not cheap but for a fun treat every now and again we don't mind paying for the good stuff. Beats the grocery store donut case any day! read more

Very good donuts, welcome competition in the rather sparse donut offerings in Vancouver. Atmosphere is good, help is nice, selection and quality of donuts is very good, but I have one very serious complaint that brings this review to 3 stars: TINY BOXES. We picked a few donuts and then asked staff to finish the dozen with randoms. She ended up giving us 11 donuts (the box was full and had to be taped closed even with 11). We still got our twelfth after we pointed out the error. Donuts are stacked sideways and squished so the frosting and glaze sticks to the other donuts. Made a mess and ruined some otherwise previously attractive donuts. We'll probably be back, but will insist they provide two boxes next time. read more

Waited so long for this doughnut shop to open, with their opening soon sign for 6 months. So the week they opened we made sure to stop by. We were so disappointed in their doughnuts. Overly sweet and the frosting on top just smears off when they put it in the bag. Just didn't get it right at all. Bummed read more

My favorite is the chocolate filled donut is the a semi sweet fluffy filling in it with light powdered sugar on the outside. The mocha donut is also my favorite! So good. I recommend this place. Friendly staff as well. read more

We ordered delivery and I just listed the type of donuts we like because I couldn't select specifically and when the donuts arrived we were amazed! The box was beautiful, my straw for my Kona Coffee (AMAZING!) was taped neatly to the box and when we opened it we were pleasantly surprised they picked a really nice variety of donuts in the flavors I had listed. We typically aren't big donut fans, but these are amazing! They were delicious, amazing quality and great variety. This will be our go to donut place from now on and I might go just for the kona coffee! So nice to such quality in the Couve! read more

I had been eagerly awaiting the opening of this spot and I'm so glad it's finally open for business. The donut selection is ON POINT, and I really like that they have combination specials. I opted for two donuts and coffee. While the coffee was a bit weak, the donuts did not disappoint. The staff is friendly and the place is super clean! Omg best donuts ever.... thank you mr. Maple for coming to our Humble Home area and providing us with the most delicious donuts I've ever eaten in my life the jelly donut so light and filled with jelly the maple bar perhaps the best I've ever eaten the fritters overflowing with apple and cinnamon the cinnamon bun same way too so much cinnamon in everything that I've tried including the cake Donuts which I normally don't like we're spectacular thank you again mr. Been anticipating the opening,...stopped to get my employees some and glad I did, decor is tastefully done and it's nice and we'll lit, lots of varieties of donuts, well made not greasy or heavy tasting. I loved they had vibrant colors on multiple donuts and some old faithful choices and donut holes available is a plus. Price was fair and donuts were worth it. My husband and I retired and do enjoy a good doing it once a week as we travel throughout Vancouver. We eagerly await at the opening of Mr. maple donuts. Very clean and had an amazing selection of pastries. Great deal on coffee and the prices on the baked goods were very reasonable. I highly recommend a stop! Can be busy at times since they I've only been open a few weeks here in Vancouver. Definitely worth the stop. read more

If we had enough room in our tummies, we would have ordered ice cream too. After her burger, fries, bottle of Diet Coke, and donut, my daughter had her fill. We were both in a food coma. In a good way! The service was good. There was plenty of seating. Large parking lot. Best of all free parking. If you love burgers, fries, onion rings, sodas, donuts, and ice cream, you must go to Angel's Donuts by the mall. They're open late too. We WILL be back.

I passed by here on the way to a yelp event and of course drawn in by the shop name. This place not only has maple donuts but also tons of other donut variations. My daughter loves their chocolate ring and the cream cheese donut. My favorite is the double maple, which is a maple bar with a maple cream filling. The staff here is very nice, the shop is clean and I will be coming back here for sure.

It actually made me smile when I stepped in. I was quickly greeted and my order was taken. I loved the display of donuts before me. I wanted them all! I ordered a Maple Bacon Bar, wow amazing! I also picked up the Double Double Chocolate Cake donut, an Apple Fritter and and Old Fashioned glazed. All we delicious as a donut should be. There is something for everyone, even VEGAN!!. Yummy donuts The best in town I was in town for a visit I stopped there and got 2 dozen of donuts They were so good These are not your average donuts! They are made fresh daily and the flavors are decadent. You literally can't go wrong with any of your selections here. They will be welcomed by all with whom you choose to share. The last 3 times we went here the donuts tasted a day or more old. They were stale & it was obvious all 3 times that they were not fresh at all. We will not be going back. We figured the 3rd time is a charm but nope... still stale and old tasting... well just go back to Safeway's bakery. Those are made fresh daily. read more
