Very yummy doughnuts. I went in around noon and there was a variety from where i could choose from. The man that helped me was very nice and patient with me. I told him it was my first time there and he explained to me what I needed to know. read more

Mr Maple Donuts - Donuts Near Me - Vancouver, Washington

My husband stopped by on Friday morning and got 4 dozen doughnuts for a meeting and didn't take pictures for me or get any comments for the group he purchased them for so I made him take me by on your way out and about on Saturday Morning. They had quite a selection - including doughnut holes ($.25 a piece). Jelly filled doughnut holes are yummy - except a little more jelly would be great. My sister went back the next day and got me more doughnut holes and also a cheesecake filled doughnut which was also quite scrumptious. This place just opened in April but I am definitely spreading the word that this wonderful tasty yummy local doughnut place is definitely something to be checked out. read more

Mr maples is my favorite donut shop in Vancouver! I go to both the hazel dell and andresan locations, and they are both are great. Doughnuts are fresh and delicious. Lots of different options to choose from. The service is quick and the restaurant is clean. read more

Fresh, soft, yummy donuts. Variety, but can't miss with maple, chocolate or mixed maple with chocolate swirls.

I made a visit on National Doughnut Day (June 7), bright and early in the morning (5:30a). I ordered 2 dozen regular donuts and asked her to select a variety of all the donuts. Minus 1 star because she packed the 1st dozen off of the rack - out of my view - and grabbed 3 glazed off the shelf. It was only then that I realized she only grabbed 4 different kinds of donuts in that first dozen when I specifically asked for a mix of all the donuts. I then asked that the 2nd dozen be 1 of each off the back wall. I put the boxes out at work ... the design of the box is great! I had the Boston cream and found it to be soft and delicious ... very little cream filling though. I had to eat half of the donut before even getting to the cream. I'd try a different flavor if I happen to be in the area but won't plan to go out of my way to get it. read more

"I spied Mr Maple Donuts today while I was having my vehicle worked on and decided to give them a try. When we went into the store, we noticed an odd odor, a burnt sort of smell. We chose a half dozen donuts ($8 for six donuts? Hmmmm). Tonight after dinner the wife and I both grabbed a donut for dessert and...we BOTH thought that our donuts left an aftertaste, just like the smell. Perhaps we are wrong, but our guess is the oil is OLD. For the first time in our memory, neither of us finished our donut. When I went into the kitchen later this evening, our whole kitchen had that smell. I put the remaining four in the trash. read more

WORST donuts and customer service I've ever had! The young girl at the counter at the new location in Vancouver, WA (Mill Plain) was clearly not happy to be there! She was extremely rude to me and my daughters. I was hoping the donuts would make up for it but I was wrong! They tasted like they'd been sitting in the open for 2 days. I will definitely not go back! I'll stick to Angels or Voodoo Donuts! read more

Started going to Mr Maple over a year ago here and there. Decent doughnuts, many with yummy fillings, and solid prices. Once again, Yelpers came through. Unfortunately, Mr Maple raised prices today. I'm sure the owners have their reasons. However, I do take offense to the magnitude of the price change. 66.6%!!! That's right their popular vanilla cream is now $2.25 (July 17) instead of $1.35 (July 16). Not all doughnuts are now $2.25. There are two categories. Vanilla creams are in the more expensive tier while something like a Boston cream is in the lower tier for $1.50. There weren't two different tiers for regular doughnuts before the price increase. Is there a significant cost of production difference between a Boston cream and a Vanilla Cream? Is this more of a ploy to charge more for their more popular doughnuts? Price increases can be expected (even as often as once a year) to keep up with inflation. Maybe even a temporary increase to stay in business during a pandemic that is shaking up the world economy. However, once again, I question raising prices as much as 66%. Many are experiencing financial hardship right now, questioning their spending choices down to the dollar. Was it the right time to make such a drastic choice? Would a more judicious approach have been more appropriate? For reference, I have paid over $2 per doughnut before and will do it again. Blue Star, Sugar Shack (East Coast), Hurt's Doughnuts (Midwest) to name a few. Though the difference between those shops and Mr Maple is that those shops produce a doughnut of either better quality or greater size. In comparison, Mr Maple is in a class below which is fine, but, in my opinion, it's not worth the greater than $2 price tag. Time will tell if the market will support their decision. I, however, will not be returning any time soon. read more

I always want a donut late afternoon and I was just telling my husband..."why don't donut places stay open late?" Well Mr. Maple is open til 9:00, which is great. I stopped by today. It is clean and well maintained. Easy access from the freeway. I only tried the maple bar so far and it was yummy. It was double maple, but maybe they should consider a triple maple cuzz I love maple. Not oily or heavy, but very light. The price seemed good to me 7.00 for a half dozen. Try them I think you'll like them. read more

Yes pleasee! Okay. First off the joint is nicely lit, clean, smells like what memories are made off and completely adorable! I stopped by to get some donuts and I saw a woman and her daughter coming out with giant smiles on their faces. And I had this thought: this is the type of place that parents take their kiddos; and their kids will look back fondly on those mornings they were spoiled with these fabulous donuts. And I was absolutely correct. As soon as I stepped through the door a sweet older gentleman popped his head around the corner and with a ginormous smile he wished me a good morning... and instantly I felt welcomed and at home in their store. We had sweet small talk while I ordered a box of diabetes for our children and before I left his sweet wife popped her head around the other corner. No doubt to see whom her sweet hubby was chatting with. And with that I was met with, yet another kind hearted genuine and welcoming smile. And I instantly felt like my day was going to be good. I chose a few of the most sugary options for the kiddos (to make memories on a 3 day weekend with them) And an oldfashion for myself. Once at home, I opened said box and the smell of the sweetness filled my nostrils and heart. I was excited to sample this delight of fluffy dough riddled with sugarr. And Mr. Maple did not disappoint. The doughnuts were fluffy and sugary and exactly what you want in a local donut shop read more

Mr Maple Donuts - Old fashion, Strawberry cream cheese, M&M, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and blue and white sprinkles. A true delight! - Donuts Near Me - Vancouver, Washington

Nice clean donut shop with mod-looking, cute decor. They certainly do a good amount of business on a Saturday morning as a lot of people were picking up donuts while we were there. We tried their butternut cake donut (I think it was butternut...maybe it was buttercrunch...something like that) and their apple crumble filled donut. Both donuts were average-good. I had a cup of coffee to go as well and I'm not sure if it was a bad pot of coffee or what, but it was very bitter and I ended up pouring it out when I got home. read more

Donut were stale on a Saturday morning. Boyfriend got food poisoning from custard filled donut. Will not buy from here again.

Great donuts ... however- $2 for a "fancy" donut that has NO filling is just wrong (in my opinion). The $2 triple chocolate stung me the first time due to no filling: chocolate frosting, chocolate drizzle & chocolate sprinkles is what I was told when voicing dissatisfaction to the red haired lady behind the counter, who interrupted me (35 yrs in customer service taught me that you do NOT interrupt your customer, but I will give benefit of doubt that she didn't hear me still talking behind my mask). Her response was that most people ask- alrighty then! Because of already being disgruntled & other customers waiting to order, I chose a $2 Mocha Cream & when I got home & sat down to enjoy my afternoon tea & sweet- I got stung yet again! Yep, once again, no cream filling!! Dang it, I wish Krispy Kreme were closer. We only began stopping in to Mr. Maple because it's along our path of commonly traveled route. Maybe I'll just look around for someplace new to try. I really would've been glad to give 4 stars, but yeah- today's frustration was a bit much read more

These are so good! Soft, not greasy or over-the-top sweet! There is a great variety of donuts, some had been sold out before we stopped by. And what is important to me and other vegetarians is that they don't fry them in lard, they use palm oil (I asked). The service was friendly and the whole place, including WC was clean. It is great to finally have a non-chain place in Hazel Dell! This is our to-go donut place from now on read more

I stopped by Mr. Maple on the way home after an early airport drop-off. I arrived 30 minutes after opening time but the "open" signs were not on so I sat in the parking lot for a bit before confirming they were indeed open. I selected a dozen donuts plus a couple of fritters (not included in the dozen price) for my family. I was surprised that the donut labeled "purple frosted" was bubble gum flavored. My daughter enjoyed it so I'm happy for her but it would have been nice to know. Shop is clean but donuts are regular donuts. I don't feel like there was anything spectacular or outstanding about any of them. My friend came by after I did and said none of their "fun" flavors were out but I have no idea what that means. It was a typical donut place for me, I feel like Winco or Fred Meyer has about the same quality and selection (minus the unnecessary bubble gum). read more

Listen UP! This place rocks. I loveeee Maple donuts in general so I knew this place was going to be good because it has Maple in the name! Their variety is fantastic. We had 4 of us and got a dozen: 3 each, because we couldn't narrow it down and they had such different donuts than most shops I've seen. They even had a double maple donut OH MY. Maple glazed with maple cream inside. It was AMAZING!! They have cake donuts, regular donuts, a large variety of cream filled and even several options for sprinkled donuts. They had one called "The Child" I believe and it was a smiley faced donut. The whole atmosphere is very good too. Clean and an open floor plan. Lots of windows so very bright, it's an overall happy place. The worker at the counter was awesome. She was able to pick out her favorite donuts for us but she told us all of our donuts are good. She was right! She even gave my pup, who came in with us, a couple donut holes so she could enjoy it too. If you're nearby, GO VISIT!! read more

Raise your hands if you love donuts. There shouldn't be one hand down. I grew up in an era where donut shops were just as prevalent as conveniences stores. Now donut shops are making a comeback, but in most cases it's a lot of fancy toppings, well lit display cases and framed art. Maybe you feel like you are in Beverly Hills, but after the first bite you start to realize you overpaid for a pastry that taste worse than the day old boxes at your local grocer. M2 is doing everything right. Not only are they breaking the mold by staying open past 3pm, they even have a happy hour, the last hour they are open daily. The girl that served me was cute, she filling me in on the process, prices and made sure I knew everything was made fresh and donuts are never day old. She went on to talk about the owners passion for baking and that each variety is decorated by hand and recipes are followed strictly. Not only does this passion and pride speak to the quality, but consistency, so you know if you fall in love with confection creation, you can rest assured that it will be just as delicious as you remember. I have one complaint and one regret and they are both the same. Mr. Maple need to come to Seattle. Top Pot, Legendary and other local donut shops can't compare to what M2 is doing. read more

This was an excellent place to go and stop if you are just on a road-trip, but we drove out of our way to come here, and I have to say I'm not super impressed. We were in a little bit of a hurry, so that could be part of the reason, but the line took too long. Another small issue was the doughnuts felt a bit stale, but to be expected as we were there in the late morning. My friend also told me after that although he loved their bacon bar, there wasn't enough bacon. All in all, a great place, but just a bit sub par. read more

Worst policy a business can have! Went in today, Sunday, around 5pm and ordered a dozen. I saw some donuts that had just came out of the oven and asked if I could get a couple of those. The worker said it's against policy to sell fresh donuts that recently came out of the oven. The reason, "those donuts are for tomorrow" (next day). Very disappointed to find out my money (and yours) is only good for the "day old" donuts! read more

When they first opened the hazel dell location the donuts were top notch. The last year or so, every time I've come to this location the donuts are very stale. I grabbed an apple fritter from Chevron on my way home and there was no comparison. The Chevron donut was more moist, flavorful, and THE SAME PRICE. Sounds like Heavenly Donuts stocks Chevrons daily, good to know. A little sad you can get a better donut from a gas station. read more
