The combination of service and flavorful donuts gives this little mom and pop shop a 5-star rating. They offer cream filled long johns, yeast donuts, cake donuts, breakfast burritos, croissant sandwiches and croissant rolls filled with cheese and sausage. The family shared a little bit of everything from a Bavarian cream long john, buttermilk donut sprinkled with cinnamon, maple cake donut and mini cinnamon roll bites. All that was $8 and they threw in a couple of donut holes on the side. It was fresh, not too sweet and the service was impeccable. Check them out! read more

Less than 3-5 minutes away from me on foot. My three toddlers and I take walk to Mr. Donuts whenever the weather is not too hot / cold and the cravings for something sweet during the afternoon is real. I guess I'm a plain Jane but I almost always get the glazed doughnut filled with custard or jelly. It's not pre-filled so I get sort-of amused watching the sweet ladies behind the counter fill them up for me. The custard/jelly glazed doughnut has yet to disappoint, ample custard for each bite of the doughnut. I've also had their cronuts (croissant doughnuts) in the past and I personally think they're a little dry but the flavors are still good usually topped with fresh fruit such as sliced strawberries or blueberries. My toddlers always choose sprinkled doughnuts and they never complain.. But what toddler / kid complains about a doughnut? A nice thing about Mr. Donuts is they let you sample their doughnut holes and/or any variety of doughnuts they choose to cut up that day. Plus, they always give free little doughnut holes in addition to the doughnuts you purchase. I'm drooling thinking about Mr. Donuts right now.. I love donuts & try places all the time. I was excited to see that there was a Mr. Donuts near where I was. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Arriving a little after 10:00 am it was clear some of the more popular donuts were sold out. I got an Apple Fritter, Long John filled with Bavarian Cream & a Round filled with raspberry. I'm not sure if it is customary, but the donuts were filled as I ordered them. Let me tell you the fillings were terrific & filled like a donut is supposed to be. The Long John was filled on both ends so every bite had the sweet, smooth cream! The Apple Fritter was fantastic & reminded me of the ones I would get with my Dad at the local donut shop by our house before helping him at work! They open every morning at 6:00 am & have been open for only 5 months. A true hidden gem! read more

My sons are donut lovers and often not willing to try new places instead of longtime favorites. Today I snuck in a new place and it was a home run! The boys loved their standard orders and the free donut holes on the side were a huge plus. My wife and I tried the cronut and both think it's amazing! Definitely something to crave. I go here almost every Friday. The owner and his associate are so friendly! I love the donut holes and the croissant donuts. The donuts are always fresh, but if you wait to long they get sold out pretty quick. Make sure if you go here that you arrive prior to 930am, otherwise you will miss out on some of the most desired donuts. read more

Donuts were on point. Kolaches are kind of just high end hot dogs wrapped in dough but they're still good. I was expecting the Kolaches to have scrambled eggs in them but that's OK, still delicious, just different. Bought a dozen Donuts and they sprinkled donut holes in the box - a nice touch. read more

The woman helping us was so polite and incredibly nice. We got two of the daily special (a croissant donut with House made whipped cream and strawberries filled with Nutella), coffee, a maple bacon, and a coconut flake. What can you really say about a fantastic doughnut that hasnt already been said. The doughnuts are as light as air and every bite of the fresh beautiful creature makes you excited for the next bite! It is an eternal bite of bliss until you run out. Then it is no fun as I live in Boulder which really doesnt have doughnuts that compare to this. Every doughnut I have tasted here is wonderful but my favorite is their apple fritters. Really yummy and oh so flavorful! Oh my I just made myself want to go for a doughnut run! read more

I ordered 18 dozen donuts for a church event on recommendation of a friend. The service was amazing! My credit card company flagged the charge as fraud (because who buys $250 worth of donuts out of the blue?! Me!!) The folks at Mr. Donut were great about helping me resolve that issue. The donuts were packed and ready right on time & then they even threw in a couple extra boxes of jelly-filled and a hot, fresh box of donut holes that were literal heaven- like melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness!!! Wonderful, fresh donuts baked daily at this family run shop. The Bavarian Creme is piped into the donut in front of you. I highly recommend the round donut, filled the Bavarian Creme, but there are other flavors too. The only caution about the shop is that they sell out quickly. They often have most of the donuts sold by 9:30. When they sell out of their day's batch, you are out of luck. The seating area is small, so it's best to pick up a box and go. The family who runs the shop is very nice and friendly. read more

They open at 5:30 am on weekdays. On your way to work you can grab a dozen donuts or a bunch of donut holes and be the most popular person for the day. This is not a chain store, friendly family owned. They have other breakfast-like food but the donuts are the best choice. The only draw back to this location is the parking.
