The glazed donuts were actually really good fresh soft and probably the best part of the visit. Unfortunately, the bacon potato egg and cheese taco was a complete disappointment. I specifically ask if the bacon was crispy and I was told yes but when I got the taco, it was cold as ice. The bacon had a wet, slimy texture and fatty white appearance, as if it was raw, Instead of being crispy, which made the taco really unpleasant to eat. What made it worse was that part of the paper wrapper was stuck to the tortilla so I end up getting paper in my mouth while eating and had to spit the food out not only for bacon purposes, but also for paper purposes. **The tacos were definitely made the day before and sold in the next morning. ** Which is Gross. (I'd rather eat gas station sandwiches. And have dinner at the table with my pet puppy before I eat these tacos again) The flavor itself wasn't terrible but the temperature texture and overall presentation ruined it for me I'll come back for the donuts, but definitely not for the breakfast tacos read more

Sometimes you just need a sugary donut or a savory kolache or biscuit. Also, I love a donut shoppe that has a delicious raspberry jelly donut! Growing up when my health conscious Mum would buy us donuts as a rare treat, she quickly learned not to order jelly filled. However, as an adult, I indulge here and there! I appreciate the simplicity of Mr. Donuts! The kolaches offer a flavorful and juicy sausage. The sausage is not too salty and the dough wrapped around it is soft, pillowy, and slightly sweet for a nice flavor profile! They also come stuffed with meat, eggs, cheese, chicken, brisket, and sausage gravy. They all look pretty good but I stick to the kolache which I enjoy with a squirter of mustard or just by itself. It's pretty good. For their donuts, the blueberry cake is good, the jelly or lemon filled donut is good. I especially enjoy the raspberry filled but they come in lemon, strawberry, custard, and cream as well. Thier glazed twist donut is yummy as well! They provide some no fuss drinks as well. Coffee, hot chocolate, chocolate milk, plain milk, lattes, juice, sodas, and smoothies. Stop by if you're ever in the area! read more

This was our favorite donut shop when we lived in the area. They always have fresh breakfast items. Today we stopped by since we were in the area. The kolaches were all still warm and fresh tasting. We picked up a boudin, and sausage with cheese kolaches. Oh and a dozen donut holes. My twins were about 3 years old when we moved away. (They will be 8 tomorrow). The store keep is always sweet and friendly. I wish we were closer to this donut shop but it's about 20-25 mins away from our house. We were happy to make the quick stop today. My husband recently brought home some stuff from here, including the bacon "breakfast taco" and the jalapeño sausage kolache. The breakfast taco has an amazing flaky pastry outer and a sort of candied bacon jam along with eggs and cheddar cheese. It's absolutely delicious, and I can't recommend it enough. The sausage kolache is large and sizeable. The jalapeños really stand out and give the sausage a good kick. I didn't try any of the doughnuts, but my kids did, and they enjoyed them. read more

I have been coming by for donuts and kolaches for nearly 3 years now. My daughter looks forward to it every time and always gets her "regular" donut and kolache combo. With many of us living in the area or considered "regulars", the owners have take the time to really get to know us all and oftentimes know what we are going to order the moment we step foot in the door. They even know my regular iced coffee order down to the amount of mocha pumps and lactose free alternatives. Gr at service and the kolache selection (if you go early enough) is always delicious. Their brisket buns, spinach and cheese danish and boudin kolaches are my absolute favorite. Day ONE my go to donut shop. We moved to Houston 2009 and this is the ONLY donut shop we go to. Great service, friendly staff, variety of pastries, donuts, kolaches, etc. etc. EVERYTHING is so FRESHLY BAKED!!!. First time here. Great and friendly service. Tried their donut holes which were fluffy but not overly sweet. Their plain sausage kolache was also really good. I had their spicy boudin kolache and it was actually pretty spicy. The only issue I had with it was that there was a slight smell that may be the seasoning or the meat. I'm not quite sure but it bothered me enough. I probably won't get it again because follow the smell but it tasted good. But, decided to give them 2 star because their cake donuts were pretty good lol I showed up 5 mins early and walked in their store, because the door was open. The lady came walked up to the front of the store from the kitchen and rolled her eyes and looked at the clock.
