Although, they have partnered with Daddy Duncan BBQ and offer brisket options. Sometimes, the kolaches taste like soap...not sure if it comes off of the trays or baking utensils used. Receipts aren't itemized, so you'll have to check twice and reconcile large orders other ways. Otherwise, they are pretty consistent with their products and service. Glaze Katy is the best! Their donuts are fluffy, soft, not overly sweet, and yummy! They also create fun, custom donuts for your special events, which is sure to be a hit for all the donut lovers. They also have kolaches and delicious breakfast tacos on their menu as well. The shop is quaint and tucked away next to the gas station, convenient if you need to grab breakfast quickly, as I did see a couple people fill up gas and walk to Glaze to get their breakfast too. Kolaches are good. We got the ham and cheese, ham egg and cheese, and sausage. I would say it doesn't have the chew of some other places I've been to in Katy and the prices are steep for donuts. Wow. Glaze has some amazing donuts. This was our first visit, so we decided to try 3 of their specialty donuts (white chocolate raspberry, apple, and blueberry lemon) along with the chocolate iced and powdered sugar donuts. After one bite, I knew we would be back again. My favorite donut would have to be the blueberry lemon. It was like having the best blueberry cake donut ever with the sweet & sour combo of a lemon bar mixed in. The apple and white chocolate raspberry were also delicious! I also tried 2 kolaches - the sausage, cheese, & jalapeño kolache and the everything bagel kolache. The sausage, cheese, & jalapeño kolache was about average, but the bread was extra soft and fresh. The everything bagel kolache was such a surprise! I thought it might taste plain with only cream cheese inside, but the saltiness of the seasoning on top went so well with the sweet bread. Lastly, the prices here are super fair. My family ordered 6 donuts (including 3 specialty donuts) and 4 kolaches, and I think our total was just a little over $12. Saw some pictures of the donuts at glaze and knew we had to check it out! They have the normal donuts, kolaches (sausage and cheese, jalapeño sausage cheese, or mini!) and specialty donuts. They had some creative and delicious options. My favorite was the turtle donuts, with chocolate, pecans, and caramel. The lady was super nice and welcoming. I had the red velvet cake donut. Ate it 10 hours later and it was still a good texture. Not too sweet or strong red velvet flavor. I didn't try the specialty donuts. Wow! I have been going to Shipley's for ever. Not anymore! I found this place on Yelp and gave it a try today. I was first impressed with how clean the place was, and then I noticed there were a lot of people there which is a good sign of a good restaurant or donut shop. I bought a half a dozen donuts and two of the sausage egg and cheese croissants and the total price was nine dollars. The same at Shipley's donuts cost almost $20. The flavor of these croissants blows away Shipley's Colotchie's McDonald's Egg McMuffin and Burger King's croissant sandwich. I highly, highly, highly recommend this place. read more

My 100th review goes to my favorite donut shop. Anyone who lives in Katy knows that there are plenty of donut shops around, almost one in every neighborhood. I've been to many mom and pop donut shops in the Katy area (don't judge me), but this place is by far the best option. This place is an easy 5 for me because of the great donuts and the great customer service. They definitely aren't your average donut shop. They are constantly coming out with new and unique flavors. My favorites here are the butter pecan donuts, Nutella holes, birthday cake donuts, red velvet donuts, and the amazing pina colada fritters. I'm addicted to the pina colada fritters, they are crispy and absolutely delicious. Unlike the donuts in some other places, the donuts here aren't too sweet and are actually filling. Many donut shops make their donuts way too sweet and light. The donuts here have the perfect amount of sweetness and don't leave you hungry. The customer service is always great no matter what time you show up, which makes them even better. It's pretty difficult to find a place with such a great product and great customer service. Best Katy hidden gem! I was unaware this was only a few miles from my home until a customer told my husband that it is a MUST GO TO spot for donuts. I think I over did it the first time I visited, but so worth it. The donuts are soft and fresh. It's one thing to have a really pretty decorated donut and the toppings are good but the donut isn't so fresh. Glaze's donuts are both really fresh and the toppings/extras are delicious! The glazed donuts are just as good if not better than Krispy Kreme. I've had donuts at the popular donut spot in Richmond, Grove Donuts and as unique as their donuts were, they weren't all consistently fresh. Here at Glaze, they are. I also recommend trying the boudain kolaches. Lots and lots of boudain in these. Great donut place, no frills spot. Saturday and Sundays try to get there before 9am, the specialty donuts go fast. Amazing!!! I'm so glad a big chain donut shop was out of donuts!!! My husband and I randomly found this tiny little doughnut shop this morning. They are only open from 5am-12pm and when we got there at 9 they were already sold out of a few items. Don't worry they bake more! The doughnuts were fresh and tasted homemade. The icing on my red velvet was added at the time of order not just sitting in the display case drying out!! I'm very picky on my coffee and they even nailed the coffee!! I can't say enough great things about this place!!! Their prices were very reasonable not like other shops where 1 specialty doughnut is $4!! My family will definitely be back!! Is this a joke? I'm looking for Glaze Donuts and I miss it because surely it's not in the same parking lot as this gas station??? It is...and I am second guessing my decision to buy Ethan Birthday doughnuts from this place but I already preorderd it, they require a 24hour advance order...ugh! I'm going to regret this... And walking in the shop doesn't help...very ho hum interior too. I let her know I'm here for the order and decide to order a doughnut, no doughnut holes to sample the quality. Of course I pay for the order, and she throws in the doughnut holes and an extra doughnut on the house...this is not helping my perception! She's trying to give these things away! I taste it in the car on the drive back, it's actually not bad. It's not as good as what I'm used to but really not bad at all. So this is what the Happy Birthday doughnuts look like, cute. It's $34 for this box set of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry, their default set up. It might have been excessive, maybe more doughnuts than we can eat, but it looks cool. I leave it at home and Ethan gets home and texts me if he can eat the doughnuts. I say yes, I come home later and I see he's eaten his entire name. I ask how it was, he said it was good but the strawberry ones were not his favorite, too fruity. The next day I see dad has eaten the "Y" in BIRTHDAY, I try each flavor...half of 3 letters. I agree with Ethan's assessment, the chocolate and vanilla are good, the strawberry is eh. Actually the chocolate is the best! There's some seating but not a ton -- more of a grab and go palace. I was excited for this place based on reviews but it was just okay -- nothing to write home to. I went around 9:30 and so many of the donuts were already gone and the display case looked weak. They didn't have many of their specialty donuts either which is the main reason I went. I got a red velvet cake donut and a chocolate sprinkles. The red velvet tasted like a normal cake donut that was red and the chocolate sprinkles was like any other I've ever had. So overall not bad but not like WoOoOW. Biggest plus is how cheeaaapp this place is!
