Instantly fell in love with this place!! The staff and atmosphere made me feel at home immediately and the food was infinity and beyond! It reminds me of my favorite childhood donut shop

You make my morning, Katy Donuts. Friendly, welcoming service.... out of this world. Product is wat better than the donut shop on the other side of 99 (how do donuts taste like greasy garbage?) I have found my new go to. Good morning Katy!

Two types. Two.

Ordered their "Mixed Dozen Jumbo Kolache" via UberEats. In the academic sense, yes, it was a mixed dozen. Two flavors of what appears to be what they were heavy on at 10:00 AM on a Tuesday. $43.00 for a total of twelve kolaches in two flavors. I don't know what the ration should be - maybe three or four flavors but TWO?!? Come on. And should they respond, I preemptively call shenanigans on "you didn't specify" or any other nonsense. Shameful dumping of excess product on your part!

Very disappointed, we have been going here for a few years when in town visiting family. Today we are so disappointed, extreme pricey, and bad quantity.

My daughter and I love to sneak over here before school every once in a while. Great folks and great food!

My new favorite! The donuts are some of the best I have ever eaten! The price is fair and the owner is so nice. The coffee and coffee drinks are also delicious! This place is worth the drive. After I tried their donuts, I have become a regular. I stopped in one morning on my way to work because I had some extra time. They made me two beautiful boxes for the office and had me out the door in short order. Since then, I buy here regularly. I recommend this spot to anyone within a 30 mile radius. They are just that good.

Cleared out all their donuts at closing time on Sunday! What a steal! ;)

Completely over priced, 29$ for 4 kolaches, 3 donuts, and mini kolaches. ( kolaches aren't large but they're rung up as large )

Hands down the worst donut I've ever put in my mouth. Not only that the lady shorted me on change.

I love their donut holes, I prefer them over the glazed-very unique flavor. The boudin kolaches are the best!

I don't know what they put in their glaze but these are the best donuts I've ever had. We go out of our way to come here. Amazing!

Aleoli Me Time Studio - Strawberry matcha

This is a great place to come study or do work on your computer. Some tables have outlets too. The service was good. No complaints. I came here because I heard their matcha is good. Each matcha is $8.5. They claim to use ceremonial grade matcha but under the matcha latte list, there is only one drink labeled CG (ceremonial grade) while others do not. The CG is the basic and they use agave for sweetening. They also don't hand mix per cup. It is pre-batched. I'm not a pre-batch hater although I do prefer each cup to be hand mixed, so I will give it a chance if it tastes good. The CG latte was surprisingly smooth and pretty good! Not bitter at all imo, but it was slightly grainy. They used the perfect amount of agave to balance. It wasn't sweet either. Just perfect balanced flavor for a regular CG matcha latte. The other matcha latte I ordered was the banana. It is SO GOOD! A lot grainier than the CG, though. But I would definitely order that again if I come to Katy. It has a cinnamon flavor in it (probably why it felt grainier than CG) and mixed with the banana flavor was just very yummy. Highly recommend!

Recommend for sweet tooths. -Nice and quiet store, relatively clean -Like the nice variety on the menu. Cons -I didn't particularly like the pandan matcha. It wasn't very flavorful to me. Perhaps the flavor is with the syrup and I had requested half sweet. I wouldn't get it again. -My friend got the banana matcha, and she said it was ok and could do better with the banana flavor and cream. -The self-checkouts can be difficult to get things scan properly. -There seems to be a lot of ads for new items, but it's not on the menu.

I was just in town for the weekend for a friend's baby shower and I swear they have some great places to eat and drink in this area. Very cute little spot and most everything is as usual credit card base and touch screens. I was going to go to the counter but decided to go to the touch screen so I could browse through the menu. I hate when I'm at a new place and don't know what I want gives me anxiety...lol So I got the limited horchata milk tea 50% sweet and a small order of karaaga (spelled wrong I'm sure) chicken and when I tell you the chicken came out popping hot! Wow so good! Even at 50% the milk tea was not too sweet so I might could have went up to maybe 75% or they do have the option to use a sugar free substitute. So that's a great option only if it's stevia..lol. I can't stand Splenda just gross.. When I visit Katy I will definitely stop by again and try a few other items. Service was quick and friendly! But I know that's how us Texans get down!

Wanpo Tea Shop - Top 9

After making their hyped debut nearly 2 years ago, Wanpo Tea Shop has remained one of my favorite…read morestops in Katy Asian Town (KAT). Their line of beverages have hit the spot in a way where I can laud them for their consistency in both customer service and selection of drinks. Their selection of drinks are broken down in milk tea, fruit tea, latte, "pure" tea, traditional, and cheese. Toppings include aiyu, grass, red bean, tapioca, pearl, and combined boba with sugar level adjustments. The standouts in each section for me are as follows: (pure) jinxuan oolong, kumquat lemon tea (fruit), winter melon lemonade (traditional), yamamasa koyamaen's matcha (latte), and their regular wanpo milk tea. If I'm feeling really indulgent, I'll get a cheese cream oreo but that's a rare occasion. They've done a good job of opening up the interior space and the layout is ideal for groups and solo action. This is likely to accommodate lines (if any) throughout the week. The illuminated tea areas is a nice decorative touch, There are some table + board games and the place is really pretty during the daytime when the natural light kicks in. WiFi is also on point. The staff is young, friendly, and mostly bilingual in Mandarin + English. Prices are the standard $5-7 per drink, and parking is always abundant in this part of KAT. Given Wanpo's Taiwanese roots and celebrated global brand, it only legitimizes (and further saturates) the greater Houston tea scene.

Wanting to give Wanpo the benefit of the doubt, I asked if it could be remade because it was a $8 drink. The worker, whose name I believe is Eric, SNIFFED my drink through the straw and said that it's Sugarcane and gave it back to me.....He then said he wouldn't remake it because it smells like it...Huh..? I walked out in shock because, what? Out of all the boba spots that I have been to, never has anyone smelled my drink. In fact, I used to work at a boba shop and never has it occurred to me to smell a drink and not remake it for a customer. Like, I don't know what methods you use to confirm ingredients but you couldn't even take the drink to the back to smell it? You did it in front of my face? I don't ever ask for drinks to be remade unless it tastes nothing like I ordered, I just go about and let it be but this genuinely appalled me. I go to Wanpo and I enjoy their Mango Sago drink but this experience has led me to never come back because... are you serious?

I like what I like, just as others like what they like. So I wasn't sure what I was going to get stuck with. So on the way to the outskirts of Katy, we stopped in at Ding Tea. Let me tell you how busy this area was on a beautiful Sunday before lunar New Year. There wasn't a single parking space to be had in three different lots. There was traffic everywhere in people. Do not drive well when they're looking for a parking spot. People just stopped in the middle of the parking lot and didn't move. Waiting for someone to walk out of a building. Super annoying. Luckily, Ding Tea is located behind lot of the larger restaurants and the golf course and other super busy areas. There was a parking spot waiting for me out front and it was easy to get in and out. We ended up getting a tea to share, and two to go with us to the party. We also got an order of the popcorn chicken. I wish they would have it a little bit spicier on its own, without having to dip it into things. A little seasoning goes a long way! The staff were also super nowledgeable about the menu, courteous, and efficient. Will definitely be back, but not on lunar new year. So busy!!
