If there is an option for ZERO they will get it. spoke to the owner to voice out my concern. Came in and bought kolache and donuts for next day breakfast. Donuts was eaten by my friend STALE. I heat up the kolache next day and it was so bad. Owner promised me coupon in the mail took my address. NOTHING came in the mail. Swung by this Shipley at 7pm on a Thursday due to wifey's cravings for an apple fritter. Big mistake, the apple fritter was overcooked/burnt and hard and the glazed donut was dried up and stale. I'm sure it's fine if you swing by in the morning but I assume anytime after lunch is a waste of time. Strangely enough the lobby was closed and only the drive thru available. 8 dollars for a small chocolate milk like we use to get in school. The chocolate milk was 1.99. Dozen holes with sprinkles and a chocolate filled. 8 dollars for that. The filling in the chocolate filled was barely any in it. Go to McDonald's. Sausage biscuit and hash brown and a large sweet tea less than 6 bucks. Large drink at McDonald's is the same price as the small chocolate milk. Way over priced at Shipleys with less quantity and less quality. read more

Horrible kolaches. You can see visibly that they put cheese inside but you definitely can't taste it. And the ham was overcooked as well. This was my second visit and I thought it was maybe just a bad experience the first time but I went today and the same thing. I will not be coming back. They never bake enough donuts. The shelves are always empty. At 1 o'clock in the afternoon you will get no donuts.

I'd recommend going inside instead of the drive-thru. We've been through the drive-thru 3 different times, asked for jalapeño kolaches and end up receiving plain sausage and cheese. Some times the quality is a bit off. I like shipleys but the only reason why I've gone to this particular location is convenience. Chain donut shop selling commercial grade donuts & coffee. Whadya expect? Coffee was tasty enough and strong enough to get my morning in gear. Straight ahead cuppa Joe. Not fussy, not fancy. No complaint. Donuts (or as Shipley's calls 'em Do-nuts) were typical commercial grade pastries similar to Dunkin, grocery store bakery section, or other such. Pastries were soft, doughy, cloudpuffs of breadage filled with typical food service fillings. I had a blueberry filled donut and a Bavarian creme filled bar topped with chocolate frosting & walnuts. Both tasted fine to me. Again, it's a chain donut shop, whadya expect? Premises were clean & counter ladies were plenty cheerful and helpful on my visit. Decor is pretty industrial with steel tables & chairs, which proved to be surprisingly comfortable for a quick breakfast, and tile on the floor & counter front. Pleasant enough environs for a bite & cup of coffee. Being *right* under an I-10 overpass you can also watch the semis roll over head, though traffic noise doesn't penetrate the window wall that makes this little shop light & bright. read more

Sugar baby!!! We did this for breakfast stop. Staff pretty on point. Have to say the glazed doughnuts were top notch. Better than the ones off Richmond. I would visit this location again. I got a few dozen donuts here for work the other day, the lady filled the box easily and was friendly. I grabbed a donut for myself which was delicious. I also had a kolache, sausage and cheese. It was delicious, fresh, soft, and hot. The inside was nice, open, and clean. The signage listed everything in easy to read lettering and the process from start to finish was great. I have never had issues here and have been in several times. This place is nothing fancy, and I would not stay in here to eat, but it's always quick and they have a drive through too. read more

I went there one morning to pickup donuts for my staff and the service is horrible. They do not even acknowledge you when you walk in and I stood there for about 5 to 6 minutes before anyone even helped me. When they approached me did not even greet me, just stared at me without saying a word. Very rude. Then they had very loud Hispanic music. Which is not appropriate. While I was waiting a caucasion male walked in and went thru the same thing as I did. He was discus ted and walked out. I do not blame him. The employees need to be replaced. I cannot believe that they have nothing but immigrants working there. I will never return back to that place. There needas to be knew management. read more

I frequented this location with my wife and kids every weekend for breakfast. This is in addition to purchases for our local church and purchases for several prominent medical offices which I manage. However, I absolutely will not return to this place. My kids and I were here on Sunday, July 31st. The store was quite busy and we patiently waited in line to place our order. I could tell that the owner(s) were in the store as the staff seemed to be in a frenzy. I observed the Owner/Manager assisting customers during the course of waiting in line. However, the demeaning, coarse and outwardly crude nature of which the woman (owner) displayed to the staff was incredibly uncomfortable to me, my children and other patrons of the store. On more than one occasion in line, another patron and I looked at one another in complete disgust. On the verge of tears, the employee took our order. I apologized to her as well as the other staff for being treated in such a manner. Each time my family and I have gone to this location, the staff has been cordial, friendly to my kids, and on top of things. It is a shame that we will no longer come to this place. The ownership should take a strong look in the mirror and re-assess the way they treat their staff; especially in front of patrons. This location has lost my business, and more importantly, my respect. read more

I usually come here every week never had an issue until now I always order a donut with milk for my breakfast before work! Today was horrible when I went to pay in the drive thru their credit debit machine was not working at all and I only had two dollars cash on me, mind you they just opened on the hour I was the first customer. They could have at least took my 2$ for my 4$ order for my inconvenience. If you want to start your day off with positive energy then don't go here! Julie will just crush all that positivity with her negative attitude.
