I had the Purple Cow, black raspberry ice cream with white and dark chocolate chips, and it was so good. The ice cream here is definitely on the creamier side, which is exactly how I like it. It edges out my longtime favorite that's just three minutes away, simply because I prefer a creamier style of ice cream. My wife prefers a less creamy texture so whether you like this place or the other place up the road more really comes down to personal preference. We ordered the kiddie size and it was still surprisingly generous. Free sprinkles were a nice bonus too. The little shop inside is really cute. They sell jams, cheeses, mushrooms, breads, ice cream, and a bunch of other local products so it's worth taking a few minutes to browse. It's the best vanilla soft serve in the area and beyond. What's most impressive is the over 20 flavors of soft serve which is quite rare. Fear not though as they also serve hard ice cream as well as frozen yoghurt. There's lots of toppings too. So far the two times I've been there there was a line, but it moved fast. This place is a must if you're in the mood for ice cream and worth a reasonable drive as well.
