Why did we assume that? Well, their big on-line menu coupled with its reference to "restaurant" on their website sure had something to do with it. Here's a quote from their website: "Our Farm-to-Table Restaurant & Retail oasis is a celebration of community, sourcing all of the all-natural beef we serve from our farm, just minutes away!" So, we were pretty surprised to only see an ordering counter and freezer cases when we walked in. But we did get over our disappointment when we walked around their showroom where the walls were jam packed with meats and prepared foods in refrigerated and freezer cases. Steaks, roasts, soups, and prepared entrees were everywhere. The selection was pretty dazzling. We learned that they had a nice feature with their prepared entrees, namely buy one get a second for half off. We bought a two pretty big frozen trays of Chicken Marsala with rice and broccoli, and beef Stir Fry with veggies and noodles. I just put them on our kitchen scale, and each are between a pound and a pound and a half. One was $10.70 and the second was marked down to $5.35, so that's at least two (probably more) very nice dinners for around $8 each. One sour note was the unsmiling, unfriendly cold shoulder customer service experience. Barely a word was spoken by the woman who processed our order.

The cheeseburger was small, and fairly juicy and tasty with a soft regular bun. The fries were hot, crispy on the outside and soft inside and very good. Frankly, a McDonalds value meal double cheeseburger (add $1 for 2) is just as good a burger for less than half the cost.

He's open from 11AM until 2ish, even in the winter if the temp is at least 40. The operation is under a tent in front of Norm's home. The dogs are Kayem which, incidentally, are served at Fenway. Norm's prices are a whole lot lower than those at Fenway Paak, though. He grills them, and also grills the Freihofer buns. Numerous choices for sides. I had a chili dog, and two w sauerkraut. DD had a chili dog and a cheeseburger. The beanless chili is homemade, and very good. The menu is eclectic.... whoever heard of a hd smothered w Reese's Peanut Butter? Next time. DD and I agreed we are both fans. Two things...cash only and don't be in a rush. He gets numerous regulars and is a solo act. If you like s good dog, definitely stop by.

The place is order at the counter or online and there are a few booths and tables. I stopped by Moz after taking a brief stroll through this old mall, which has seen better days. I ordered a slice of cheese pizza ($4 plus tax) and a 12: Chicken Parm Grinder ($14 plus tax) with peppers, onions, & mozzarella cheese. The slice of pizza was reheated in the oven and I ate this here as I waited for my sub. The thin crust cheese pizza slice (1/4 of pie) had a firm crust topped with red sauce and browned cheese on top, which was pretty good. The grinder took a while since after making it, they were using a hot press on the grinder. Once it was bagged and ready to go., I decided to go out to the vehicle to enjoy.
