chocolate peanut butter ice cream
Maria M.

Staff was super friendly and scoops were quite generous. The ice cream tasted fresh, creamy and a bit dense which is how I prefer it. There's a little store there as well that sells pints for very reasonable prices , 2 pints for $8. They will give you ice packs if you're traveling. The store also has local dairy products, meat and baked goods.

Amazing ice cream! Not everyday you can enjoy it next to the cows responsible for it. The employees were very patient in explaining their flavors and allowing samples. The graham cracker ice cream is my new life discovery, as in how did it go on without? Definitely a must stop if you're in the area, and be nice to the cows! They oversee the picnic table area (behind a fence, of course).

Cute little place, wonderful environment, walked here via the rail trail. Huge scoops and good ice cream! This was a "small" Kahlùa fudge brownie!

Such a personable crew of employees that gave us a 10/10 experience and tour. My friends and I fed the baby cows and went into the open grass to pet them all because the manager (owner??) wants every customer to have the best time ever here. Live music too and, of course, quality ice cream with lots of options!! Loved my time here

Welcome

Such a great place to enjoy home made ice cream. Sit back and enjoy the music while gazing out into the cow pasture. Service is quick. Hadley Scoops is on the rail trail. Bike, ride or walk here - whatever you choose. Kept it simple with vanilla and Reese's pieces.

Delicious ice cream! It was nice that musicians were playing music. The port-a-potty was CLEAN on Sunday afternoon.

Best ice cream place in the Amherst area. Should definitely try the purple cow flavor.

Terrible ice cream but the experience is a 10 for a community atmosphere. Quality of the ice cream is Hoods at best.

Plenty of places to sit, there are benches all around the farm. There are a lot of ice cream flavors to choose from. They also have an area where you can pet the cows.

One change since my last visit is that you now order the ice cream outside instead of inside. The line was long but it moved surprisingly fast. I do wish they offered samples and this time they were missing some of the more unique flavors that I like to try. Kiddo and Wifey got the Orange Pineapple, and they both loved it. The best part was that it wasn't overly sweet. It was light, fruity, refreshing, and the pineapple pieces throughout gave it great texture. My mom got half raspberry and half pineapple from the non dairy sorbet options and really enjoyed both. I went with the Black Raspberry Chip and it was so good. This is that old-school ice cream I grew up with. If you've had it before, you know exactly what I mean. That said, after trying another place just three minutes away, I do think that other ice cream is creamier. I personally prefer a creamier texture, while my wife likes a firmer scoop, so it really comes down to preference. One thing to know before ordering: when they say "one scoop" they really mean one scoop. Don't expect an oversized serving. There are chickens and cows roaming around the farm, which adds to the experience. The animals looked happy, and while seating is limited, there are both indoor and outdoor places to sit and enjoy your ice cream. Overall, this is still a great stop and one I've enjoyed for years. This place is well worth visiting for the farm atmosphere, beautiful views, and classic homemade ice cream.

This place is always a treat to go to whenever we are in the area (usually coming back from a day…read morein Northampton). They have a great selection of fresh produce, a lot of it being local obviously since they are surrounded by farms!! A huge selection of different types of feta cheeses and exotic international foods as well. Tons of spices too! But the part I love the most about this place is the prepared food and hot buffet they have! Ok, I'm not a buffet kinda girl in general, but the stuff they have in their buffets are incredible! slow cooked meats, fresh hot potatoes, mac and cheese, grilled veggies--oh just so much goodness! There is also a cold buffet section which is excellent too. Plus there is a beautiful place to eat if you go outside where it overlooks the farms and bike trails. My idea of heaven: Spending the day with your loved one around Northampton, shopping, indulging, drinking coffee, then on the way home stopping at this place for a few grocery items and dinner at the hot buffet (with dessert) while overlooking the bike trail and farms.

There's lots of parking in local produce. Oddly enough, they also have premade Middle Eastern and Asian food which is a nice find for this little small town.
