The service was beyond wonderful. The staff made the dinner even better than it was. We ordered champagne and cocktails, both were delicious. The Mr chow noodles were super flavorful. The noodles are made fresh in from of you. The glazed prawns are a MUST. I could've done without the chicken, but the fiery beef was amazing I could've gotten 2 of those! The pear dessert sounded questionable, but ended up being incredible. Served warm with vanilla ice cream! Music choice was also a 10/10.

I was invited to a private after party for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for OutKast and it was here. They laid it out for the party. Of course the food was great! I have been here before but this was catered. So many delicious dishes! We were met with drinks upon entering. The amazing staff continuously brought food out all night. Even desserts! This was my first time going to Mr Chows for a private event. I absolutely loved the hospitality. Music was on point. Lighting was dimmed low for ambiance. I would say this probably was one of the best parties of the year with the best food and drinks. Thank you Mr Chows for hosting a truly unforgettable night.

Incredible service, sensational food and an iconic institution all around. From start to finish, there isn't better upscale Chinese but be prepared to splurge. It's all about the duck, hand pulled noodles, squab and prawns in my opinion! You must try a lychee martini as well.

I've been going to Mr. Chow with my husband for over 15 years, and it's still my absolute favorite restaurant in Los Angeles. The food is always incredible, the staff is fantastic, and the atmosphere is truly one of a kind. You never know who you might see there, which makes every visit a little extra exciting. It's a classic LA spot that never disappoints!

The fact that I've been coming to Mr. Chow's since a kid and the quality and taste remains the same. I haven't been here in a couple years and I decided to come here for dine LA experience and of course the regular menu lol.. Options were really good. I ordered the Spare ribs for first course, Beijing chicken my second course, and for your side, they gave you shrimp fried rice, and mix vegetables, which was so good. Everything was very good, what we ordered. They also have many cocktails and mocktails to choose from! I ordered the 1739 sidecar, which was very delicious!! The service is phenomenal from the valet until when you entered to be seated and all the people who help you out it's many servers and busybody that help you, and they're very efficient and always come and check on your table and clean off your table, which is a plus for me . The ambiance is so pretty and the decor, and very elegant and classy and upscale vibes. They have private rooms for parties, and two sides that you can dine on. This place is definitely good for celebrations, which my family had many parties here and my friends. Also, it could be good for date night or I would say pretty much any type of occasion. It's pretty much only valet parking unless you want to do street parking but I am not sure how that goes. I don't want to take it so I never risk it but if you do park valet is $20. Overall, I highly recommend Mr. Chow's!! the ambiance is great, the food quality, and exceptional customer service!! -Marshay D.

I have been going here for over 15 years and this place never disappoints. The food is always hot and fresh and made to order. Great quality ingredients with flavor. The service is outstanding and the atmosphere is beautiful with nice trendy decor. Note:Only thing I don't like is that the table seating's are very close and not enough room. You are very close to other people's table.

My friends always raved about Mr. Chow--one used to eat here three times a week! I had never been, so I decided to check it out on a late Saturday night (they're open until midnight ), and I'm officially converted. Kicking things off was the shrimp fried rice, which was perfect--light, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. The chicken satay was on a whole other level: juicy, tender, and that peanut sauce? Unreal. Then came "The Gambae"--crispy fried seaweed that was totally addictive. I could eat a whole bowl of it solo. The glazed shrimp with candied pecans were absolutely divine--rich, sweet, and perfectly cooked. We also had the shrimp toast, which was crispy, savory, and everything you'd hope it would be. And the spicy sauce? My friend warned me since I'm sensitive to heat, but it hit just right--a quick fiery kick followed by a smooth, mellow finish. Chef's kiss. Every dish was a flavor journey. Generous portions, thoughtful presentation, and the kind of layered taste you only get when chefs really know their craft. The staff was incredibly attentive and made us feel like royalty. Yes, it's on the pricier side--but honestly? Totally worth it. I'm now a die-hard fan. This place is more than just dinner--it's an experience. Highly, highly recommend. #MrChowMagic #BeverlyHillsEats #FineDiningWithFlavor #SeafoodGoals #ShrimpLoversUnite #CrispyCravings #FoodieFaves #LuxuryEats #WorthTheSplurge #GourmetLife #LateNightLuxury #HiddenGemBH #FlavorsToRemember #BeverlyHillsDining #YelpEliteEats #ModernChineseCuisine #LegendaryDining #BeverlyHills

Had a beautiful night with colleagues networking and going over some final details for our upcoming series. The food, as always, very good very tasty with the best ingredients & again, rose water finger bowl plated to the T in fine China. Service was amazing and on point with their menu and pairing drinks with each course and dessert. I highly recommend Mr Chow Beverly Hills where the food fills your soul and the price hits your wallet in the right spot.

    Mr Chow and myself

So tonight on vacation in Beverly Hills, I decided to go to Mr Chow sometime around 9:30. Sat at the bar and struck up conversation with the bartender about Steely Dan and the reference to Mr Chow in the song Glamour Profession. Bartender did not know the reference. I asked if Mr Chow was still alive. He said, "He's right there and pointed to his left. Sure enough, sitting alone in a booth was Mr Chow, underneath a picture of himself painted when he was young. I went over to him and introduced myself and mentioned the reference to his place in the song. He looked confused at first and then his eyes lit up and he remembered. He said the painting behind him was done by Andy Warhol, a regular. I told him I was glad he was doing well and keeping that 70's vibe going. I took a picture with him. He is in his late 80's according to bartender Matt. Made my night

We had a good experience here. The food was pretty good and some items I've never had it prepared that way. The customer service and ambiance was 5. It is definitely the most expensive Chinese food I've ever had and I didn't put this weight in my review. The only item we didn't care for was one of the chicken dishes. Everything was good.

My life in LA wouldn't be complete without Mr. Chow. It's been my go-to birthday spot for years, and I've had the pleasure of trying every dish on the menu. Each visit feels like a celebration, not just of my birthday, but of exceptional dining. What Makes Mr. Chow Exceptional: * Impeccable Service: From the attentive bussing team to the gracious managers, the service here is top-tier. Every detail is thoughtfully considered, making each guest feel truly valued. * Captivating Ambience: The high ceilings and beautifully designed French-style flooring create an atmosphere that's both elegant and inviting. The specially designed plates and lighting enhance the dining experience, engaging all the senses. * Culinary Excellence: The menu offers a delightful array of American-Chinese dishes that are both comforting and sophisticated. Signature dishes like the Chicken Satay, Mr. Chow Noodles, and Ma Mignon showcase the culinary artistry that defines this establishment. Mr. Chow is more than just a restaurant; it's an institution that blends art, culture, and cuisine seamlessly. For anyone seeking a dining experience that combines exceptional food with an unforgettable atmosphere, this is the place to be. I really really love their wine list by the way. Cheers!

The music was set at the perfect volume--just enough to have us humming along while we made our way through four incredible dishes and a few glasses of wine. We started with the "skinny egg rolls," dubbed so as they are long and skinny. They arw perfectly crisp and light, giving lumpia vibes without feeling heavy or oily. Next were the wontons--I could smell the ginger before they even reached the table, and they absolutely delivered. Adding a spoonful of the homemade chili oil, packed with herbs and spices, took them to another level. Then came the noodles: thin, delicate, and full of flavor, topped with beautifully seasoned beef that tasted as though it had just come off the grill. At that point, we could have happily stopped--but the team highly recommended the pork entrée, and I'm so glad we trusted them. Every bite was melt-in-your-mouth tender, with a beautifully seasoned crust, served with just the right touch of mustard to bring everything together. We cleaned the plate without hesitation. To finish, we shared the mango dessert, and it was the perfect ending. Sweet without being overpowering, every element--from the mango to the coconut and cream--shone through, with a subtle savory note that balanced it all beautifully. What truly made the evening unforgettable was the service. The staff were attentive without ever hovering, checking in at just the right moments, and the managers' thoughtful table touches made us feel cared for. Thank you, 88 Club, for one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. We're already looking forward to coming back!

It's on the expensive side for what you get, so expectations were a little higher. The pork was the standout--easily the best part of the meal and worth trying if you go. Overall, glad I checked it out, but probably not a spot I'd rush back to with so many other options around.

No explanation. Just a half-hearted apology and no sense of urgency. Instead, a random dish we didn't order was dropped off as "compliments from the kitchen." A freebie doesn't fix over an hour of being ignored. We had a hungry 5 year old with us. After a total of about 75 minutes with zero food, we told the waitress we were leaving. Her response? "Ok." That's it. No apology. No attempt to make it right. Just indifference. We even left money on the table, not because anything was earned, but because we have standards, even if this place doesn't. The food came out within 10 minutes and the portions, as I saw on previous reviews, were generous enough for us to share and be full. The Mapo Tofu came out on a hot ceramic bowl. It wasn't as spicy as I thought, not overly spicy but just enough where you get that numbing kind of sensation in your mouth that leaves you wanting more. The beef wasn't like the ground beef you see in other mapo tofu, but more of chunkier pieces which I wasn't a big fan of as it didn't seem spread evenly. The Meizhou Special Fried Rice with chicken was probably one of the best fried rice dishes I've ever had. You can tell it was made from a wok and the flavors were just incredible. The chicken seemed to have been friend separately and added on top afterwards but the saltiness of the chicken didn't take away from the fried rice at all.
