I love Xi'an and have been coming here since they opened so many years ago! I am obsessed with the green tea noodles and power zone rice which are both gluten free and so delicious. Our waiter is nice and he has been here since they opened since the pandemic. Sitting outside on this beautiful Wednesday afternoon, 3/11/26

Once again I had a delicious dinner delivered to my home! The food is so fresh and delicious. What a fabulous evening meal after a hot hot day! The ROASTED BBQ RIBS were amazing. I tried something new TOASTED SHRIMP & LEEK WRAPS. They aren't exactly wraps but small braised patties and they are really flavorful! And finally I ordered STEAMED SHRIMP HAR GOW. I have ordered from Xi'an Beverly Hills several times and it is consistently good quality and delicious! Try it!

There is lots of outdoor seating on both sides of the sidewalk.

My friend and I went to Xi'an for lunch today. I had the lunch Garlic Chicken with brown rice and bowl of Hot And Sour Soup. My friend had the dinner Orange Chicken, which came with broccoli, white rice, and an order of green beans. She wanted to have things left over to take home for her dinner, which she did. We sat outside, as she always does wherever she goes, so her dog, a Lhasa Apso, can come along. He had a good time watching other dogs passing by on the sidewalk. Everything was very good.

If you are looking for authentic Chinese and especially Xi'An food, avoid this place since they are just a high end Panda Express or PF Chang tailored to Americans. The fact that I was the only Chinese in the restaurant and also they do not have chopsticks on the table tell a lot. We ordered typical Americanized "Chinese" food like the walnut shrimp, beef broccoli, Mongolian beef, hot and sour soup, Singaporean curry rice noodle and surf and turf fried rice. Everything is ok but nothing stands out. The service is ambiance on the other hand is amazing largely due to the Beverly Hills location.

We loved the decor. We were 20 and they were able to accommodate us together. The tables are not huge, so we were able to still talk to one another during the dinner, which made us feel like at home. We ordered many dishes and shared among ourselves. Everything was delicious. I particularly liked the lettuce wrap starter, spare ribs, Beef Lo Mein, Mongolian Beef, The Spa Rice, Chicken in Black Bean Sauce, Shrimp Lo Mein, and Shrimp Chow Fun. Service was fast and to the point .

Had lunch at this Chinese restaurant in Beverly Hills. It has some lunch specials going on. Xi'an is a pretty nice looking place, but it's still casual it seems. Of course prices are kind of high, but they're not crazy for the area. There's lots to choose from, whether it's meat or tofu. At lunch is when to go. It's got a little better prices at lunch. That's not saying a lot though. Kind of high but the quality is good. There's a nice variety of things. It's about $17 for a lunch special. We got a couple of the vegetarian ones of these. Has quite a few to choose from. I had the Mapu Tofu. Good one for those who like spicy items. She had the Tofu With Black Mushrooms. A little mellower in flavor. The lunch specials come with a choice of salad or a soup. Great place for not so Americanized Chinese food. It's only open for dinner on Sundays, and the rest of the week has lunch. There's plenty of healthier items, including lots of things for vegans and vegetarians.

Won ton - perfect!

Terrific food - very healthy - not overly sauced. Wonton. Soup great - garlic noodles terrific - pretty much everything delicious. On the downside - our waiter was horrible - never smoked - never nice - forget one of our mains (we didn't even tell him) - but a bummer. He had zero personality - just took out order and disappeared. Should he 5 stars - great food nice place - turned by a waiter who could have not cared less.

Kale salad with the peanuts was perfect! For my drink it ordered the Turnball Cabernet red wine that was suggested by Dylan and it was very good for my palette. The service was great! Dylan was our sever and he was very nice! And personable and easy going. Our order was not incorrect and it came out fresh and hot. But of course that's nothing new with Hillstone restaurants, they are all phenomenal!!! It's also located next to their sister restaurant South of Beverly. The Honor Wine is right next to it as well. It's dark and gives semi-upscale vibes! It's not that spacious since it's a bar so it's usually a long wait. I recommend coming early or trying to do reservations. I like the dark vibe it has going though. The most frustrating part of it all? Servers came off super pretentious and would intentionally walk by your table without looking to avoid you asking them anything. Moreover, the place doesn't let you make many changes to your order. For example, if you ask for easy rice on the sushi, they will say no. If you ask for them to put the avocado on the side due to an allergy of one member of the group, they will say no. Our items came out SUPER slow, and this was after waiting a while for a table. The sushi is subpar - heavy on the rice and not enough fish. However, the coconut shrimp roll was good. That all being said, I'd go back and deal with it all again for the chicken sandwich and the burger. Both were a bit heavy on the bread in comparison to the protein, but delicious nonetheless.

We were greeted by a server who brought water, and once we were settled, I tried to politely get someone's attention. Instead, I got an eye roll, followed by him pretending not to see me and walking away. Someone else at our table then raised their hand, same response: another eye roll. He eventually came over, but the attitude was... unnecessary. All we wanted was to order a single drink for the birthday girl. Mind you, the rush was over. I believe he may have been a busser rather than server. The time it took to roll his eyes.. twice.. he could have easily grabbed our server instead. Not sure why he wouldn't support his team.. I was nearby before an event and wanted a place where I could exhale, have a hearty dinner and maybe a drink. Mission accomplished on the rooftop overlooking Beverly Hills and beyond. Opening seating with tables or sit at the bar. The one draft beer is Peroni, which suits me fine. (Sure, bottles are fine sometimes, but not this night) The menu is inviting and as I was pretty hungry, I wanted something more than chips or a veggie platter. I was guided to the 'B.l.a.t' (Sixty sauce. hobbs bacon or roasted turkey, avocado. butter lettuce. heirloom tomato. All served with choice of french fries or salad.) I asked the server if the turkey was made in-house or from a deli, and he assured me it was made in-house. Though I was fond of it and it did hit the spot, there is no way that the perfectly layered and thinly sliced turkey was from something other than a high quality deli. The fries were thin and crisp and basically high-end McDonald's fries. No complaints. And it's a lovely view all around, or to just hang out for a while with an associate, a friend, or solo.

On multiple occasions, Elton has given me poor service and a noticeable attitude. I chose to overlook it at first, but eventually I brought it to management's attention because the treatment was consistent and unacceptable. After that complaint, the situation escalated. When I returned, Elton refused to serve me altogether. He would not look at me, acknowledge me, or take my order. I was left sitting there while being completely ignored. It became so obvious that other guests sitting next to me noticed and were concerned enough to step in and ask him why I wasn't being helped and to tell him to serve me. That should never have to happen. I then asked for the manager I had previously spoken to, Leo, because I wanted to understand what was going on. I still have not received any clear explanation. What's most concerning is that this behavior feels intentional. No employee in hospitality gets to decide who they will or will not serve based on personal feelings. If a staff member's feelings are "hurt" after a complaint, that does not justify refusing service to a guest. That is not professionalism--that is the opposite of hospitality. It was honestly disturbing enough that the people next to me told me directly that it didn't feel right and that I shouldn't come back because it seemed like I wasn't wanted there. That is not okay, especially at an establishment of this caliber. I am actively trying to get in touch with someone at the hotel who can properly address this situation, because this needs to be taken seriously. No guest should ever feel ignored, singled out, or unwelcome in this way.

I emailed the bar to make a reservation since the online system was down, and they emailed back immediately to confirm -- and even said they would surprise my mom with an extra birthday cake! Now all I had to do was wait 3 weeks until her visit so the experience could finally happen. The day arrived and I got my mom to Maybourne Bar with her none the wiser. From the moment we stepped through the door, the experience was a 1 million out of 10. Every course is unbelievable. This is a caviar tasting in the best way -- all nine courses are topped with generous helpings of delicious N25 caviar. You get sweet, salty, savory, comfort food, upscale dining, everything comes together in the absolute best way. I especially loved the deconstructed deviled egg and the lobster roll, and the ice cream was some of the best I've ever had. The chips and dip came with the cutest miniature potato chips (although I'll admit I could have used a few more), and the caviar salmon burger was super flavorful. And, true to their word, they surprised my mom with a birthday cake -- and then surprised us both with complimentary lychee cocktails! The service was impeccable as well. Each person on the waitstaff was kind, helpful, and accommodating. We loved how descriptive they were of each dish. It was also really nice of them to decide to give us an extra 2-top so we would have room for all of the courses. This is not only an incredible tasting menu, but made even more incredible by the price. 10 courses and a glass of champagne are $85. I was honestly shocked at how much we received for under $100. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. This is a true gem in Beverly Hills. I'm already planning my next visit!
