Had the 3 piece with cornbread instead of the biscuit. The chicken reminds of Lee's Famous Recipe but better, not as salty. But the sides were bland I had the green beans and mashed potatoes with gravy. The gravy was very watery. At least the chicken tasted good. Ordered online for pick up at 7pm. Arrived 6:50pm for pick up. Went inside to pick up. Order not ready. Said we will bring it out when its ready. I will type this critique as i wait. It is now 7:23pm no food. I see the drive thru line moving super slow too, excessive waits for food. This store is BS management. Employees work as directed, i put this all on terrible management at the corp level. They clearly do not respect customers. This is not the first time recieving bad service at this location They brought the order out at 7:30pm!!! After odering ahead on the thier website at 6pm. The green beans were not warm, were so cold the grease congilled, did not attempt to warm them, did not include biscuits, the chicken was barly warm and was clearly old, we all know what day old chicken taste like. After 20 mins we got to the window all we ordered was chicken strips 8 and fries an mac n cheese. Went on a Saturday at 1130 for lunch. The drive through speaker was louder than hell, the person taking my order misunderstood every other sentence, and when I pulled up and paid after a few minutes they told me they were out of buns and needed to make the sandwich a wrap. Not a huge deal, but why doesn't the person know that when they take my order? Or before they take my money? They also had to confirm drink orders while I waited, which isn't a huge deal but not ideal none-the-less. It's a fast food chicken place though so it hits the spot as usual. read more

Very disappointed. I received my 3 piece all white meat dinner which I was charged and extra dollar for, chicken was so dry and almost inedible, I had to dip it in my own bbq sauce at home. Mashed potatoes were very bland and had more gravy than potatoes. I've had this same meal at the Twinsburg location and it was delicious. Do better Northfield. read more

I am a fan of Mr Chicken, best mashed potato's from any chicken joint. The Buffalo whole wings are to die for. Wednesday Special 3pc dinner for $5.69. SOLD to this guy right here. Chicken is crispy and very meaty..........My opinion Colonel Sanders you need to step up your game. The one in Macedonia closed and a Popeye's went in there. Mr Chicken in Northfield has been there and is still standing. Give it one star cause the chicken is consistently good but the service sucks! Can't seem to get an order straight even with repeated corrections. Seem to assume what you want instead of giving you what you ask for. Maybe this is hit or miss depending on what day and time you go. We've picked up food here a few times this week. It's been pretty good! I love that you can get food thru the drive thru. The location is convenient for me and the menu is simple and easy to choose what to get. The prices seem really high though. $15 for two 3 piece chicken meal without drinks..... Food was good. Not happy that sauce is extra. read more

Have not eaten at Mr Chicken in a long time. The food is still good and the restaurant in Northfield did not disappoint. I felt the price was a little high, but you can always eat on Wednesday when they have a three piece special. Recommend that you give the place a try. read more

We hadn't been to Mr. Chicken for quite some time, since we've been frequenting the Popeye's that opened in Macedonia, so decided we'd try some Mr. Chicken again tonight. We were highly disappointed. We ordered an 8-piece family meal with mashed/gravy, green beans, & also bought an extra side of gravy. At most chicken restaurants, eight pieces means two wings, two thighs, two legs, & two breasts. NOT at Mr. Chicken - we got one small leg & one small breast, and the other six pieces were difficult to identify but we believe they are a portion of the BACK of the chicken which runs along the breastbone. Really???!! We've never seen such strange cuts of chicken!! The potatoes tasted like wallpaper paste, the gravy was bland & might have needed more cooking time, & the green beans were just okay. All in all, we'll be going back to Popeye's but will not be returning to Mr. Chicken. The cost was around $23, so about the same or slightly more than Popeye's. It just doesn't make sense...it used to be much better. read more
