I always have wanted to try out this place in the past and finally got the opportunity to. We ordered a polish boy, tour of Poland, lake perch, and mushroom soup. This was a take out place. We waited roughly 15 min to pick up our foods then went back home to eat them. The Polish boy was good. My boyfriend grew up eating Slovenian kielbasa and he thought the Polish one was somewhat similar but the texture was not different. The Polish kielbasa was less garlicky and less of a bite than the Slovenian one; still, it was pretty good. The stuff cabbage was okay. The ground meat was a bit too fine and could maybe use a bit more seasoning on that. We got potato and sauerkraut + mushroom pierogis. Both were so delicious. The dough for the pierogis was very smooth. My lake perch was pretty good too but it was not that crispy. It may be due to the fact it was a takeout. I am sure it would taste better if it were eaten fresh from the store. On the other note, the mushroom soup was superb. I loved it. Overall, it was fun to be able to try Polish foods. We could come back if we were around the area.

Ate here today with my parents and sister to try this place out for quick bites and trying out another Polish food called pierogi for the first time. We had definitely brought different kinds of pierogi to share together to at least satisfy our taste. It was definitely great and delicious. The service there was also patient and attentive. Finally, I will come back again next time when I visit Cleveland.

quaint. Home cooked Polish food. Best perogies in town. If you are in the area you have got to stop buying and get the tour of Poland

Absolutely incredible place for pierogi and polish cuisine! We can't wait to be back in the area to eat here again!

YUMMMM! So I had been here before years ago, and honestly don't remember being that impressed. Decided to give it a go again because when I'm home visiting I need my fill of Eastern European food and have been on a quest to find a suitable replacement for Sokolowski's (RIP). I came on a Friday so I could get some cabbage and noodles along with my tour of Poland. Everything was delicious! The cabbage rolls were so tender and the sauce was amazing. The pierogis were slathered with butter and onions as they should be. The kraut was heavenly. Not too sour but rather sweet and the kielbasa was juicy. Heck, I even liked the canned green beans. The cabbage and noodles were delicious. Definitely tasted some garlic in there. I'm actually going back this Friday to do it all over again. I think I found my spot :)

Most delicious and unique pierogy with 6 different kinds of flavors I have ever tried, the sauerkraut is beyond my expectations and the sample of mixed sauerkraut with sausage is quite successful even though I didn't use to enjoy sour food! The amount of food is munificent enough to support my whole day! Just hope eat-in can resume one day.

After finishing a hike at West Creek Reservation I went onto Yelp to find a place to grab a late lunch and one of the options was the Little Polish Diner which I had heard good things about. Since they offered a reasonably priced fish dinner I figured I would give them a try. Found street parking right across the street. Inside I found out why they call the place Little, the restaurant is a single wide storefront diner that looks like it was decorated by Grandma. The friendly staff informed me that they were doing takeout only since if they had people seated they could not provide 6 feet separation from those waiting to takeout. After reviewing the compact menu and the specials board, I decided to go with the lunch special of a fish sandwich for $5, instead of fries I choose the cabbage and noodles. The order was ready in about 5 minutes and I went to my car to enjoy it. Imagine my surprise to open the takeout box to find a large, but thin whitefish fillet, nice and crispy topped with cheese on a nice sandwich bun with lettuce, a huge portion of the cabbage and noodles, plus coleslaw and tarter sauce. The fish sandwich was very good, the cabbage and noodles were excellent and the portions were exceptional. When I am in the area I will be back to the Little Polish Diner, great basic food well prepared and an exceptional value for the money. I don't think you can go wrong here.

Have nothing against the restaurant but central and Eastern European food just doesn't interest me other than roasted pork and some of their beef dishes and of course sausage. Wanted to try out pierogi today. They have many flavors, surprisingly the best I like was the sweet blue cheese, the worst was the stuffed potato, and I imagine if my favorite kielbasa were used as stuffing I would have liked it better.

Wonderful, savory Polish food. Sad we couldn't eat there, but had fun eating our delectables at a nearby bar and grill. Highly recommend!

After some browsing, we decided to make the drive to POC in Richfield, and honestly, we're so glad we did. We were a little surprised to see they close at 6 p.m., but thankfully we left earlier than planned and made it just in time. From the moment we walked in, the girl at the counter made us feel welcome -- friendly, patient, and more than willing to help a couple of first-timers navigate the impressive menu. And let me tell you... the menu did not make it easy to choose. There were so many unique pierogi options, it felt impossible to narrow down. We ended up going with the daily special platter, plus three extras so we could sample a few more flavors: sauerkraut & kielbasa, chicken paprikash, and goat cheese & mushroom. Every single one was different, but all were absolutely packed with flavor -- rich, buttery, and perfectly comforting. Those little moon-shaped dough pockets did not disappoint! The noodles and cabbage that came with our platters were also excellent -- simple, but full of that homemade flavor you only get from someone who really knows their way around a Polish kitchen. All in all, POC was a great find. It might not dethrone our favorite pierogi place in Parma, but it's definitely earned a spot on our list for when we're craving authentic, hearty, delicious pierogi closer to home.

Visiting from Brooklyn, NY, we were looking for a place to watch English football on Boxing Day…read moreover the Christmas weekend. Had called a few days ahead to see if they would have the games and would be open that early. Whoever answered was really pleasant and accommodating. On Saturday they were open for the match we had specified The space was as advertised - a neighborhood bar and grill with enough TVs to satisfy a sports fan. It was early, but the vibe from staff and the regulars at the bar was relaxing. The owner/cook (I'm guessing) had kindly put our game on a big screen and came around the bar to serve us. Very helpful, very polite. When the bartender arrived, she continued the friendly service while he went back to the kitchen. Enjoyed all of the food. The poppers and sauerkraut balls were tasty and fried nicely (clean taste, not overly oily or greasy). We really enjoyed trying the Serbian dishes. The Cevapi was a healthy portion of tasty, rich tasting sausages. Had never had them before but will be on the lookout for them now. The Sarma was a nice stuffed-cabbage variant. The Lepinja (garlic flatbread) and Serbian salad balanced our in-game lunch. Next time I come back to visit family I would definitely head over to grab a beer and have a bite. My thanks to the staff for a nice start to our Saturday.

We almost didn't come here bc it felt like too much of a schlep from where we were staying downtown…read morebut it was definitely worth the trek. It's really not that far I'm being dramatic it's like max 13 min from the center by car. Anyways it is literally the cutest place inside. Dimly lit by table-side antique sconces and Christmas lights in the bar with wooden booths and chairs. Very eclectic. This felt like a special place the minute we set foot inside. The beer menu is something else you not only wouldn't find in a typical restaurant but even for a beer place. Very Belgian German vibes. I didn't even get to the best part yet believe it or not. They are very vegan and vegetarian friendly. So many things on their menu can be made vegetarian or vegan. Like things I've never seen before like TOFU SCHNITZEL. Holy shit. But then you think about it and are like why have I never seen this before? It can't be that hard? They also have a meat free version of the allegedly local favorite sauerkraut balls which was an absolute must. There were just so many things we wanted it was hard to choose. Other than the balls, I was very interested in the vegan sausage and the Reuben (on literal potato pancakes) that can be made vegetarian or vegan without the corned beef but ultimately could not pass on the tofu schnitzel which came with a starchy side (I went with the spätzle obviously) and a veggie side (I went with the kraut.. obviously) and GF the Reuben with a side of fries. To take home for later, the spätzle appetizer and the pretzel. We also ordered beers, needless to say. I tried a cider that was incredible. One of the best ciders I've ever had. Everything was incredible. The kraut balls, actually spicy kraut balls per their menu, were so good. I was bummed there were only 4. I feel like there should be at least 6. I'll pay more. The dipping sauces were really good too. One was a curry ketchup type thing and the other was a cheese that was fabulous. Tofu schnitzel was breaded to perfection with a very crispy exterior. They used a nice, thic slab of tofu. Given the schnitzelness of it they probably could have gotten away with something thinner. They had a mushroom gravy which was nice for the vegans. The kraut was typical kraut. The spätzle slapped. I love those little pasta dumpling dough pieces. What a nice texture. GF's fries were salted perfectly and crisp. The pretzel was softer and lighter than usual. The cheese spätzle was better than sex, earth shattering ecstasy. So yeah it was pretty good.

Ordered 'build your own Schnitzel'. Picked the veal, sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. Had the veal topped with 'Oscar', crabmeat and asparagus. Delicious...veal was crispy and tender, sauerkraut had the right amount of bite and mashed potatoes were solid enough. Topped with paprika gravy. Food was very good. All in all a really good place. Food was great, service was fine, maybe a little cold and not particularly friendly, but good enough. I am new to neighborhood but this is the kind of place I could see myself coming to often.

They stood on the benches more than they sat. The rating is the food and atmosphere combined. Food is about a 1.5 and atmosphere is a 5. Server came over and asked us about drinks. We asked a few questions on the menu. We decided on 2 potato soups and split the garden flat bread. It's was late and we didn't want to eat anything too heavy. The soup was different big chunks of potatoes and a few veggies. Topped with pretzel croutons. Best part. It was ok. Filling. Not hot at all. Hate when soup is like warm. Bring me hot soup!
