After pointing out the areas of concern to him, Ken offered a couple non-serious possibilities for the phenomenon, and was able to assure me there was no threat to either the structural integrity of the house or the cement slab foundation - and pretty much bottom-lined it, saying there's really nothing to worry about. I really appreciated Ken's easy-going demeanor, and sensed zero interest in him trying to sell me a repair service that wasn't needed. Ken is just an honest guy offering his experienced opinion - in no doubt, putting yet another homeowners' unwarranted concerns to rest. Would be nice If all companies sent inspectors who operated the same way as Ken.

This is why I hired Danny because he could do all of it. I didn't want to have to hire 2 different people. I called him and told him what I needed done and a few days later he came out to my place and gave me a quote which was very reasonable so I hired him for the job. The day he started he showed up early which surprised me for who does that? I was stoked for that was a good sign that things were going to go well. He covered my whole family room in plastic and was so meticulous when cleaning up once he had finished. Our last project was a 10' wall with lower cabinets as well as 2' upper cabinets on the left and right leaving area in the middle to accommodate a large tv. With this guy, his attention to detail and quality of workmanship are top notch. He had to figure out how to how to make the six tall shelf sections (12-1/2' high sloping down to 8') follow an unevenly sloping ceiling while dealing with a wall surface (13-1/2' long) that was not necessarily flat or square. But he did it, and from the pictures you can see that he did it with beauty and style! If you have an easy or difficult job, Steve will make sure it's done well and done right. We would never call anyone else.

I I renovated my kitchen and installed new flooring. I met with a lot of contractors and eventually decided to work with Hans and MPH Construction. He has a good eye for design and recommended ways to improve my kitchen that never would have occurred to me. He also assisted with material selection, and customized the cabinetry to accommodate several angled walls in my kitchen. His recommendations maximized the space functionally and aesthetically which will definitely increase the resale value of my home. He was sensitive to my budget and his quote was very reasonable. The project itself came in on budget and on time, and he did not charge me for any change orders for custom work on the cabinetry that was not identified until the middle of the project. He also texted or called me every day to let me know who would be working at my home, so there were no surprises. He cares about customer service. As construction is a work in progress, there were a few minor items I noticed that I wasn't satisfied with during the project. When I brought them to his attention, he said "No problem, I want you to be happy and to love your new kitchen." He quickly fixed them to my satisfaction. After interviews with 7 general contractors Hans came in the 2nd cheapest but convinced me that he knows exactly what we wanted and can do the job. The job he did was full of positive surprises: 1. His team was very professional, quick and clean. 2. He was always attainable. He answers phones and text messages every time. 3. He delivers everything he promised 4. He delivers more than he promised. 5. He promised he would finish the job in two weeks and he finished exactly as he promised. 6. So we believe that he really knows what he is doing. 7. With good price and excellent quality I asked him why so many people quoted more expensive than him his answer was pretty down to earth: "Royce, because I know this business inside out I know exactly will cost me to do the job and I know how much I want to make......People quoted higher than me because they might be kind greedy or don't know the job." Hans and the MPH Construction team did a fabulous job remodeling our downstairs; kitchen, dining room and fireplace, powder room and downstairs flooring. Hans strategized and worked with us to help us maximize everything so we stayed in budget. Our home looks amazing and I love the way it feels. When you work with Hans its like having a construction expert and a bit of style and design guru all in one. He has a good sense of taste and knows what looks good. At all times I was the customer but when I asked him what he thought he told me and his suggestions were always topnotch. We entertained recently and someone asked me if I had it to do over again what would I do differently. My answer was I'm completely satisfied I wouldn't do a thing different. I have no regrets and I love it. I just wish I'd have found Hans sooner, it took talking with dozens of people to find the right contractor. Brand new kitchen including adding an island (that no other contractors said could be done), downstairs bathroom, upstairs guest bathroom, master bathroom, reface of our fireplace, tile flooring down stairs, and hardwood flooring upstairs. We had a kitchen remodel done by this company. It was quite extensive with the tear down of a wall,…read moreplumbing and gas relocation, removal of a window and taking out the soffit. All trades were very respectful and did good work. We always knew when somebody was coming and around what time. There were no big surprises on cost changes. They warned us after removal of soffit there could be things that may cost more and there were. There were tons of communication wires that needed to be removed we didn't know were there. Water pex pipe had to be moved, etc. so we understood the extra cost. We love our kitchen and would recommend them! The cabinets are great, trim work is great, inside and outside window installation and stucco repair were done very well. Electrical and plumbing contractors were top notch. The only thing that needed a little improvement was the backsplash tile amount calculation. We had to order more twice! It was a good thing the material was fairly easy to get in Anaheim. All the other contractors I did a walk through with asked me what my budget was before giving me a quote. Izabella worked with the city permits, my difficult HoA rules, and was responsive throughout the entire project. She gave great suggestions, fixed things that were not up to her standards even when I didn't notice, and always found excellent solutions to little problems that would come up. Above all, Izabella is always consistently calm and never seems to be fazed/stressed about anything! Her team, from the electricians, plumbers, dry wall people, painters, cabinet guy and others were all excellent and great at their jobs. I am so happy with how everything turned out and I highly recommend Izabella's team!

This is an overdue review, but i wanted to wait at least 6 months to write out a full review!…read more It was my first time renovating anything. I wanted to redo the inside of my entire house (yes, EVERY inch) and didn't know who to work with. I was given quotes that were 3-4x my budget and had a contractor pull out of the project 2 weeks before my scheduled demolition. I got super discouraged until i found Frame Build & Design. They were able to work with what I had and made my experience very enjoyable. They provided me a rendering of what the inside of my house would theoretically look like, and I can confidently say that it looks pretty darn close to the pictures! I'm so pleased with how all my cabinets & fixtures turned out. I appreciate Idan for answering all my questions and dealing with my complaints. He was patient with me and would send a guy over to fix or add things that I wanted (like outlets on the ceiling for my speakers, patching holes, etc). He went above and beyond to get permits for renovating, be there for city inspections, and keeping me posted on progress. I will say however that if you are planning to hire this team, you will need to be hands on. This means being involved in EVERY decision! I had to pick out all my materials on my own to match the rendering provided in the beginning. FB&D provided some locations I could check out, but it required a lot of research on my end. It felt overwhelming as a first time home owner, but this is pretty normal from what I understand. FB&D had an interior designer on this project and she was a HUGE help in decision making. There's no perfect contractor. Yes there were some communication issues and yes there were some imperfections. Yes it took 2x my timeline. What renovation doesn't? But ultimately the FB&D team were very accommodating with my feedback and gave me my DREAM home. And I can say 7 months into living here, everything is still holding up great and nothing has broken! I highly recommend hiring them for your next project! They did a great job. I ultimately went over budget but that's totally expected (and totally on me)! Thank you Frame Build & Design!

We recently completed an extensive renovation with D2A, including whole-home interior paint, full kitchen remodel, whole-home flooring, fireplace renovation, and upgraded electrical panel. We were promised an October 2025 completion, but the work did not finish until the end of April 2026. What could have been an exciting home project became prolonged, exhausting, and unnecessarily difficult. Dani/D2A operates far more as a sales-focused or front-facing contact than a contractor capable of actively managing a complex remodel. Once the contract was signed, the level of involvement and management dropped significantly. There was no meaningful oversight, no proactive quality control, and no walkthrough or presentation of completed areas or phases of work. We were left to give specific direction to workers directly and had to inspect everything ourselves at every stage, repeatedly reporting problems that should have been caught internally. The volume and severity of issues were unacceptable. Our stairs were initially installed with finishing nails sticking up and severely uneven steps that required a full redo; even after the redo, we were left with creaking steps that we accepted. Cabinet paint and installation required extensive correction, causing months of delays where we had no handles on our cabinets. The backsplash was installed incorrectly and had to be completely redone. Flooring was installed below standard over uneven foundation, with no mention of an option, added cost or not, to properly address it until after all work was completed. Correcting it then would have extended the construction-site state of our home for additional weeks, so we chose to cut our losses rather than endure another round of disruption. These were not minor punch-list items. They were obvious, avoidable mistakes reflecting a lack of basic craftsmanship, attention to detail, communication processes, and oversight. Instead of addressing these issues professionally, Dani was frequently defensive and dismissive, minimizing legitimate concerns rather than taking ownership. While all issues caused by his team's work except the uneven flooring were eventually corrected at no added monetary cost, this came only after weeks of debate and deflection. The eventual solution was asking us to take time off work to be present for all work done for weeks, despite our clear, detailed documentation of what needed to be done. Often, after we spent hours preparing a documented plan and providing it to D2A, workers would arrive and tell us they had never received the information, then look to us for direction. Our oversight got the job done, but it required costly time off from work and reduced the value of paying for a general contractor's expertise. As a married couple, we also experienced a clear and troubling difference in communication: when wife asked questions, responses were often belittling or disrespectful, while the same questions from husband were met with a noticeably more professional tone. The project extended roughly six additional months, and the repeated delays and rework resulted in real, out-of-pocket costs for our family. We had to stay in Airbnbs with our young child because the home was not safe to occupy during some stages of the extra construction. This disruption was avoidable and resulted from poor management and repeated mistakes. Perhaps most concerning, during the final sign-off, when the cost to correct the uneven foundation under the flooring was discussed, Dani offered to cover that work in exchange for both husband and wife leaving a positive review. Since online reviews played a role in our decision to hire D2A, this raises serious concerns about the integrity of their reputation. Proceed with extreme caution.
