Came for lunch after hiking Minnekhada. They have a unique take on things. The staff are super…read morefriendly with a big smile on their face, efficient and helpful. They have a patio outside, a mezzanine and quite a few tvs for you to watch games. We got the pineapple wok squid, brussel sprouts and the big "o" chicken sandwich/burger. They asked if we want regular or spicy version for the chicken, We asked for the spicy one. The pineapple wok squid was unique as it had a slight curry flavor and the pineapple gives it a tangy flavor which is an interesting combination that works. I didn't taste the garlic in the dipping sauce, maybe because of the curry taste. It was good. The chicken burger was good as it has cole slaw, pickles, and range sauce. When we told the waitress that we were sharing, she asked if we wanted the burger pre-cut in half. Not a lot of places would have asked that, so that was really good of her to ask. The brussel sprouts were good too as it was crispy but not burnt. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back, maybe for their happy hour

We…read moredrove to the top of the parking lot, entered our licence plate by the reception desk and received free parking. We were warmly welcomed and offered a choice of seating. We choose a seat inside the restaurant as it was somewhat cool by the patio door, that was open. There is nice music playing at a comfortable volume. The room is nicely decorated and there is good spacing between the tables. It was very comfortable as the room was not noisey. We were given both a patio menu and the regular menu and we asked for the happy hour menu as there was still time left for happy hour. When we asked about the happy hour wine, one of the men, I believe he may have been the manager said that on Sundays they have bottles of wine for 50% off and he brought the list over to us. This was much better value than the happy hour wine by the glass. We shared an order of teriyaki chicken wings from the happy hour menu. It was a generous serving, and the wings were very good. For entrees my husband had the lamb shank with potatoes substituted for the risotto and I had sea bass. There was no problem with the substitution. My husband said his lamb shank was good. I enjoyed my sea bass. It was well cooked and there were 3 good sized shrimp with it. It was very tasty, but I would have preferred a bit less stock in the dish. For dessert we shared an apple passion fruit tarte that came with ice cream. The ice cream was a pleasant surprise as it was not mentioned on the menu. The tarte was good but we could not taste any passion fruit. It was a good evening. Service was good, the food was good and the room is very comfortable. It is good value for the money.

B and I made a reservation because we knew this place is going to be busy on a weekend. Parking lot is very small so I recommend coming in for an early dinner instead. The restaurant is located a block or two away from Coquitlam mall. We walked in and was seated immediately but that was probably because we had a reservation. The greeting was super warm at this restaurant. Our server for the night provided a great experience. We ordered the the Moroccan Meatballs to share. I got the Seafood Risotto and B got the Chicken Clubs with Cajun Fries. For drinks I had an non alcoholic drink the Pink Fizz and B got the Negroni. The Moroccan Meatballs had a lot going on with the flavors. It came with bread to go with the meatballs. My Seafood Risotto looked small but it was quite filling. It had half a lobster with it, lots of shrimps and other seafood. The risotto was very flavorful. B chicken club sounds ordinary but again it was also very flavorful and unique. It is basically a chicken cob salad in a bun. The fries that came with it was delicious. I really like the garlic aioli dip that came with it. All food items that we ordered were only available at this test kitchen. The drinks were good. The meal with tips and taxes came to $120 for two people. Pretty standard pricing. Overall, good experience, good service and good atmosphere.
