My husband and I had dinner at Moxie's lastnight and it was fantastic! We ordered the naan tacos, med bread, blackened chicken burger, and steak and prawns. Everything was so flavourful! We both agreed that it was the best food we'd had since we stayed at a 5 star hotel on vacation. The service was excellent; we could not have asked for a better place to have "date night"! read more

Recommendation for breakfast: Sicilian sausage hash. Reason: finally a hash that is not oily. Suggest hot sauce on the side. read more

I love this place! My son and I come here after every hockey tournament from Seattle and this visit was no disappointment. Great steak, great cocktails and great service! read more

Not sure I like this place.... I had the Korean BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich, the waitress said it was really good. It was just super sweet and didn't taste like much of anything else. The waitress was really pleasant though, and when we asked, she let a party of 10 order off of the lunch menu (It was past midnight too)... So anyway... Im just not sure, might go here again and try something else read more

Traveling with my family of 5 this restaurant was perfect. The manager talked to us and was very accommodating, the wait staff provided great service. The food took a few to come out but was worth the wait. The best quesadillas I have had. Kids enjoyed it so much we had to return the next morning for breakfast. It was great you have to try the eggs Benedict. Cost was average! read more

First time here, had 3 great dishes, Thai soup, salt & Pepper ribs and ramen nodules with pork belly. All 3 awesome. Decent wine selection great serves professional and out going. Easy to talk with and they know the menu. read more

Moxies Langley Restaurant - Ramen noddles - Canadian (New) Near Me - Langley, British Columbia

This location is right near my work so its our go to when someone has a birthday or is leaving the office. They always are really great about taking our order a few hours before and its always ready and hot when we get there. The server always splits our bills up which is great as well. I really like the sushi cones, so tasty! They are something I actually crave and need to get time and time again! I've heard the arugula salad is really good too. It is a bit pricy there but the food is good. The only time I didn't enjoy my food was when I ordered the lettuce wraps and the lettuce looked like it had been almost frozen, it had that clear look to it....wasn't that great. The calibeau chocolate cake is AMAZING. the best chocolate dessert I've ever had. The one thing I was a little shocked about was the state of the patio. The fireplace looks horrendous. Whoever designed it didn't take into account that it rains in BC, there is rust marks going down the seams of whatever product they used surrounding the fireplace and the glass where the fire is was milky and really mouldy looking. yikes! there are food stains on the fabric furniture and grease stains on the concrete. Looks like it needs to be cleaned up and maintained....not something I expected for a higher class bar-type restaurant. It was a total turn off and I don't think i'll be sitting outside anytime soon. Its such a stark contrast to the sexy high class style inside. I've been to other locations and this one is really good (if you sit inside). read more

This review probably covers all Moxie's not just this particular location. Service: 4/5, could not ask for much more especially since I was so appalled by my bad food that they took it off my bill. Merci. Ambiance/Decor: This location is NICE, really NICE. Beautiful top floor, outdoor patio and heating. Fantastic honestly would come back just for the upstairs space. Food: 1/5, Revolting! I had without a doubt the most disappointing Veggie Burger in the lower mainland. Honestly, I understand through this experience why this chain is not known within this department for amazing food, but seriously this Veggie burger was not even pub-quality. So disappointing. I would certainly return here for drinks with friends, but I could not bring myself to return here to eat after today. Moxie's really needs to think about the quality of product they are putting together because my burger from the patty to the bun fell horrifically short. read more

Great service experience, food and beer. I've been here a handful of times and all have been great experiences so far. I recommend trying the salmon avocado cobb salad, it was excellent. Another time I was there I tried their lettuce wraps, found that they were way too salty, so they replaced it with another item from the menu: the korean fried cauliflower, with no charge on the bill, how it should be. I'll definitely be back to enjoy a Dark Matter Beer! read more

My gf took me here for a belated birthday dinner over the weekend. She made a reservation so we were seated immediately. We had a few drinks prior to coming here so we were already having too much fun. Our server's name was Sarah and she was so patient with us. She even gave us a pitcher of sangria on the house. Unfortunately, her shift ended mid-meal so we got another server named Chantelle (I hope?). She was wonderful too! Service that night was top-notch and it made my birthday feel more special. :) We started with the Mediterranean dip, which is new and apparently replaced the bruschetta. It was so good and flavorful. I could've probably ate a full serving to myself...I got the red thai curry for my main and it was really good and the portion was pretty big! I didn't end up finishing it all because I was stuffed. This was a way better experience than my last so i'll be back here for sure! read more

Came to this location for my birthday dinner service was really slow it took 20 mins just for the waitress to take our drink orders. Once me and my girlfriends made our order for food it took over 30 mins, the waiters and waitresses were too busy chatting up the business meeting group that was there. Food was good but dessert was a disaster. I've been to moxies before and have never had an experience like this and I won't be back at this location. read more

Moxies Langley Restaurant - Teriyaki Stir Fry Bowl - Canadian (New) Near Me - Langley, British Columbia

Nice menu but flavor was lacking. Great service, beautiful presentation but food not spectacular in any manner. Expected so much more. I've stayed at the Sandman hotels and Moxie's is either attached or adjacent. Three meals three locations & none were memorable, sorry, just not that tasty read more

I appreciate the effort that was given to try and redeem themselves but unfortunately it still left a very bad impression on myself and my husband. Treated poorly by our waitress and ignored by other wait staff. Employees were playing around not working behind the bar in front of everyone. Waited 20 minutes to be able to order our drinks. Took another 10 minutes to bring us two beers. Then waited 45 minutes for our food that ended up not being what we ordered... read more

Since right next door and sharing the same parking lot, Moxie's is very convenient to Sandman Signature location in Langley. Casual vibe, friendly staff, slightly loud environment when busy - which seems to be most of the time. Not cool to have no choice but walk through the crowd of smokers congregated right outside the front door. Their emphasis is on locally sourced, fresh products. They also have gluten free and soy protein options. Plenty of choices: from salads, soups to hearty mains. Found the ribs to be adequate. Note to self: next time restaurant tells you what they're good at (locally sourced fresh ingredients), order that instead. Heard good words from fellow diner regarding the broccoli cheese soup. read more

Well, the Langley, BC Vancouver moxies on 200th is just a joke. The servers are great, efficient and friendly but the kitchen can't cook or keep up with the hotel / restaurant at all. The managers have tried to give me 3 free meals but clearly don't try to solve or resolve. I travel lots and know that rushes happen, don't push out poorly cooked food and then try to say we will comp you..... I don't care for that nor do the servers. Get a handle on this as it has happened 3x in the past month. Sandman, consider who you partner with as this hotel is run very well!!! read more

Moxie's is exactly what you should expect from a chain restaurant. The food is pretty consistently good, the music is loud, there are multiple TVs on to take my attention away from the table conversation, and there's always a 8-0 ratio of female servers to male servers. If I had a death row meal it wouldn't be Moxie's, but I don't mind coming here from time to time for a bite. You know it will be good and there's some decent variety on the menu. They've done well to pair with the Sandman hotels, well played on that front. Can't give them 5 stars, but I would give them a solid 4. read more

I have lived in 3 developed countries. This is by far the first of a kind and terrible customer service ever. We went to this location on a Sunday afternoon. As soon as we got to the rooftop patio the waitress says "sorry you can't dine in because we don't allow kids" I get it, I'm a 5 ft petite girl. I'm also 29 yo with two masters degrees. I get carded all the time, I'm totally fine with that. But this waitress did not ask my age or any ID. One of my friends asked if we could get a free drink after telling her what she just did. She agreed to get us a free drink but I never got a free drink. I got charged for the drink I ordered. And I didn't argue while paying because I'm not someone who fights for $8 and honestly I was just put off to ask for anything else. This is just not ok. When such things happen you wonder if it's because you're a person of color and if a waitress actually has the right to say something like that to guests of a popular chain restaurant. read more

Great service and atmosphere. I was surprised that a "moxies" felt high end. I would definitely recommend. I ate lunch, and dinner there...both great. I saw Donald Sutherland here last time I ate...(I'd like to say I met him, but we didn't really hang out). read more

Came in for 1/2 price wine Wednesday last night. Ashleen was an excellent server! We will be back for sure

Can't really review the food as we had been completely ignored from the moment we entered. We managed to get our name down but never was seated after an hour of waiting when we'd been told the wait was going to be 15 to 20 minutes. read more

Food wasreally good. We split a prawn tempura cone...seemed like a strange choice for this type of place, but was amazingly good. Shared a pizza, which was really good, but a little heavy on the hot peppers. I was Ok with that, wife not so much. There were also a lot of little kids there, which seemed weird for that type of place, but I guess becuase it is attached to hotel, and there is not a lot of other places around, what choice do they have. White chocolate brownie for desert is amazing! Only big negative was the service. It took a really long time to get our drinks, our food, our desert, and really long time to get our bill. It was not that busy... I think we would go back read more

The food was disgusting. I feel like I was robbed. Such a disappointment. The worst experience of food at a restaurant in my life. And it was disappointing because it was supposed to be a special night out. Had the waitress asked how the food was, I would have liked to send it back but she never came around to ask. We didn't see her until it was time to pay the bill. read more

My homie Tyson Burgess had my back the whole time. Whenever I needed something he would help right away. Honestly made my experience 5 stars just by being here. The food was solid too but without his luscious hair helping me out it would have only been a mediocre experience. 10/10 would come again! read more

A bit pricy, but always a good eat. I usually share the meals with my sweetie since they are so big.

A very nice restaurant in an odd part of town, but easy to get to and very nice ambiance. We had a party of 6, they accommodated us well, and food was outstanding. Quick service and a great menu selection. They are very kind and sensitive to food allergies and will make every attempt to prepare your food accordingly. The salads are fresh and very tasty. I had the dry rib appetizer for my meal along with a side salad and it was spot on. It's clean, nicely appointed and friendly. We will be back I'm sure. read more

This was one of the best meals out I've had in a long time! Definitely one of the best places in town. My husband said his steak was better than the high end steakhouses in New York we have been to. I loved the lettuce wraps, and the fish tacos were really tasty with a generous serving of fish. Service was quick, and the restaurant is really nice and chic. The drinks are delicious too. Lots of different margaritas. I think this just became my new favourite local place. read more

Went here for valentines, and made a very great choice by doing so! We ordered their calamari which is absolutely amazing and contains shrimp and jalapeños as well. We also got another appetizer called the ginger tuna or something. Its basically seared tuna with pickled ginger and bean sprouts served on a wonton crisp with ponzu on the side YUM! For the main course i ordered the crab and shrimp linguini (i think thats what it was called). It came and didn't seem like a lot but i could barely finish it! It was so delicious and filling! My boyfriend ordered the crab and lobster butter steak, which was thick juicy and delicious. The price was rather steep at almost 90$, but it was definitely worth it. (: read more

This restaurant was attached to the hotel I was staying in, but the food was excellent. I had chicken street tacos and a side salad and the flavor was awesome. The food came out quickly and our server was very helpful. It was very convenient if you stay in the sandman hotel, and was close to other things in the Langley area. read more

It's a Moxies and they are usually pretty good but this location has disappointed me a few times on service and just plain getting orders and drinks wrong. It really shouldn't be that hard to fix but it seems like they don't really care at this location. read more

Not sure if they're understaffed, but every time I go here for lunch the service has been incredibly slow, with the server forgetting to bring plates for appies, and having to wait 10 minutes for water, etc. On top of that, EVERY single time I've been coming here for the past 6 months (and I come here every couple weeks), I've had to send at least one thing back because it's been dirty; first a wine glass that had a lipstick stain, then cutlery that had food remains, dirty water glass, etc. It's almost turned into a game with us now, spot the dirty dishes! And all we get is a "sorry about that" from the waiters The food is amazing though, that's why we keep coming back, and why this place gets 3 stars rather than 1. I've been to other moxies though that are fantastic overall, and we try to go elsewhere if we can. read more

OK, kudos to the crew here. First sirloin with lobster butter was no good due to a strip of grisel down the middle. I mentioned it, they cooked up a new steak and it was perfect. That's how you do it in the F&B business. Thank you. I will be back just because of that level of service. read more

We went to the Langley location for lunch for my birthday. When we walked in there was no one at the front desk, so we walked into the restaurant and looked around for someone and couldn't find anyone! It took about 10 minutes before the girl came back to the front desk. We told them that we were on our lunch break and we ordered all of our food right away in order to save time. The food was delicious and didn't take too long to come out. When we were finished we were looking for our server to pay our bills since our lunch break was almost over and she was nowhere to be found. We had to ask another server to track down our server. This took about another 10 minutes before she came to our table. My coworkers had ordered a slice of cake ahead of time to be delivered to our table for my birthday, but the cake was never brought out. good food, good atmosphere, but terrible service. They could be really busy during the lunch hour if they had better service. read more

We will never go back to this location! Abbotsford is amazing, but this location, no no no. It is very loud and the food was disappointing. I wish I had taken pictures. My steak salad was dripping in dressing and only had half a dozen little pieces of steak on top and couple little pieces of goat cheese. I didn't complain, but I should have. My hubby had steak with mushrooms, sure didn't look like a 10 oz steak and the plating was very unappetizing. Friends steak was overcooked. Sent it back, asked for a rush so he could eat with us and not watch us, the waiter said, they are very busy, could be awhile..... , came back with fatty piece of meat, that took forever, couldn't eat it, at least he got comped for his meal. Overall a very disappointing meal, read more

Came in because I didn't want to drive (staying at the attached hotel). Nothing special about it, its an average chain restaurant. I had the parmesan chicken sandwich, they tried too hard. Too many flavors, it would have been better with out the sauce or cheese. Also no IPA on tap, bummer. Service was great. Normally at a place like this the girls aren't friendly to a woman sitting by herself. read more

This actually happened in early November of 2013 on a Saturday night but it has still left a bad taste in my mouth. I had come in with my husband to this location with 3 friends around 10 pm after a dark and wet 10k run we had just enjoyed downtown. We live by this location so we went home to put on some dry clothes and try to look semi decent so that we could enjoy our well deserved celebratory drinks and meals. We had walked in and went to the bar side as we know that they are open later. We have been to this location many times and it's always been one of my favourites for the good food and good atmosphere. We took a booth that was right across from the bar, we were pretty happy with our table as you get pretty good service, or at least that what you think. We had sat down at the table, took our jackets off and waited for one of the servers to come around. We waited, and waited after 5 minutes we still hadn't received any acknowledgement from any of the servers and had received no menus at all. We decided to wait it out a little bit longer, during this time there were 3 servers all just chatting among themselves at the bar. I tried to gain eye contact with them to get their attention, and I had but none of them came by our table at all. In total we waited around 15 minutes by the time we packed up and left, I have never walked out of a restaurant before due to bad service, ever. The actions made by the servers in the situation were just outright rude. I worked as a server in the hospitality industry for several years and this is absolutely not the way to treat guests and it is definitely not the standard that has been set within the industry. We ended up going to another restaurant that had opened recently in the Willowbrook area and we were very happy that we took our business there as staff was friendly and the food and drinks were awesome, it may have been a little bit longer of a drive but it was well worth it. I have not been back to this Moxie's location since, and I don't know if I will in the near future which is sad because it is less than 5 minutes from my home. Langley has had a big surge in good restaurants opening in the Langley area recently which gives you many options to choose from. In order to stick out from the rest you have to give awesome service in order to be picked from the others. Sad to say but Moxie's is no longer in my top 5 places to go to. read more
