I relocated to the Dallas area and used Uhaul Uboxes. I needed help to move my things from the Uboxes to my apartment. Pedro and his team were every efficient and careful with my things. Pedro texted the day before the move to confirm and asked on any particulars such as antique furniture, heavy items, flights of stairs and anything to take apart or put together. Movers were supposed to arrive at 8:30 a.m. By 10:30 a.m. they hadn't arrived. No call was made to explain the delay. After making several attempts to call we were told that the truck was broken and that they were trying to get another one. By 2:00 p.m. when we were told they were to arrive, no one showed. By 4:00 p.m. we had given up and cancelled. At 7:00 p.m. we were notified that they were on their way. Not our way of doing business! read more

Five stars from start to finish!!! We used Movers Plus to move into a temporary home and storage and it couldn't have gone better. Will definitely be using them again in a couple months when our house is finished. Just like everybody else said, Adrian was extremely attentive and on it with constant communication. The guys showed up on time and moved quickly and efficiently. The whole house was loaded in about 2.5hrs. After a 45 minute drive and a short lunch break (that they deducted from the time), we were fully unloaded and ready to start unpacking in another 2hrs. They helped disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed and did it very quickly. Oh, and I really appreciate the fact that they put runners on the carpet in our new home. I have moved several times in my life and never have I had such a great experience. They called 30 min before arriving just as they said they would. I signed the paper for them to get started and they got to work immediately. I had a two man crew for my one bedroom apartment and they packed up all of my stuff within an hour and were on the road. Using Movers Plus was a great experience! William's crew was polite, professional, and extraordinarily hard working. Temperature was in the 90s, extremely humid, and raining off and on all morning, and these guys worked non-stop. I would hardly have considered us prepared for this move and the house we were moving from was a wreck, yet they still got all of the items we requested out of the house without a problem. They rushed us and themselves through the whole thing. They did not wrap all of the big furniture which I expected, and they stacked way too much stuff on top of the other. This caused two high price items to be scratched. When I brought this to the companies attention I received one reply offering to come and fix them I responded that this would be great. After two emails from me reaching out on when they could come there was no more response. It was not as expensive as other moving options, however I would not reccomend. read more

We chose Movers Plus b/c their rates seemed fair and it was a simple calculation (hourly plus small travel fee). They were amazing! Respectful, careful, wrapped all items necessary, took tables apart and carefully wrapped parts and hardware together, filled every inch of the truck like a puzzle, began boxing unfinished items w/o asking b/c they knew it was needed, conscientious to put items in rooms where they belonged (paying attention to labels, asking if unsure, and if I was near, remembering what came from what room), no complaints about carrying very large and bulky items up stairs, realistic and communicative about the one piece that wouldn't physically make it (w/o trying and damaging the item or the home, took bed apart and put it back together w/o being asked, plugged appliances back up, no downtime, worked w/o complaint until midnight (started at 4) and asked very supportively if there was anything else they could do for us before they left. The long hours were due to the amount we had to move as well as not being fully ready. It was worth paying by the hour for what they did. I was overwhelmed and we were all in it together until I said I was ready for them to call it a night. I will recommend them to anyone I know who needs movers! read more

I worked with Adrian to schedule a pick up and drop off of furniture I had bought. The schedule did change a couple of times but Adrian kept me informed every step of the way, seems a previous customer hadn't been exactly honest about how much they had to move so my crew was held up. (This isn't exactly unheard of in this business especially with local moves)Adrian finally sent Fernando and his helper and from the minute they got here to placing at my house it took about 1 1/2 hours. Movers Plus moved all my furniture off my 3,500 sq ft of wood floors so I could have them redone, then came back after the floors were done to move it all back. They were very careful not to scratch my newly finished floors and got all my area rugs back in place. The reassembled two sleigh beds and moved several heavy items. Nothing was damaged or scratched. Some furniture was wrapped in plastic to protect it further. Cloth runners were placed in walkways to prevent scratches. They worked very efficiently so the bill was very reasonable. This review is way over due! Movers plus was a life saver!! I decided to start travel nursing and had less then a month to get my apt packed and move across the U.S. Adrian was great helping me, especially last minute! I was able to book 3 guys and they moved me down 3 flights of stairs in downtown Dallas to my storage unit in Allen/Plano area all in 3 hours. The drive alone took 45 min thanks to Dallas traffic, these guys didn't waste any time! My furniture is super heavy/custom and they took great care keeping it safe and making sure everything was wrapped, even with the horrible 3 flights they had to move it down. They even let me rent the moving blankets to keep all my furniture safe in storage! I can't thank movers plus enough! Excellent move last night with Pete, Jose and one other employee (sorry I have forgotten your name! It was late). Movers arrived 3 hours late, but kept in contact informing us of their late arrival. (Believe this was more of a scheduling issue since they had a job more than an hour away before our job and we had an arrival time of 11-2 and they arrived around 5 this is definitely an administration issues not the movers- the scheduling department should have been in contact with us before 2 pm letting us know how late they may possibly be, but made no contact until we called around 2:20). All of our belongings were wrapped and padded very well. Only our outdoor freezer had a scratch and one door frame was hit. The guys worked efficiently and were polite. Definitely recommend at least a 3 man crew this allowed them to work faster one wrapping two men moving and helped with the large furniture getting up our stairs. Our new home had just been painted and the movers avoided any damage to our new home. Have moved many times and these guys were by far the best movers we have had would definitely use this crew again. Thank you! read more

*UPDATE: After posting this review, I was contacted by the company to discuss our experience and they were very apologetic. They took the time to really listen to where they could improve and genuinely seemed to want to make things right. I've upgraded a star to reflect this, as I believe this may have been a one-off situation and with all the other five star reviews, I think they are worth taking a chance on.* I had high hopes after seeing all these great reviews, but our experience was not quite as smooth and I'm only giving two stars because the movers were fast and the price was much better than other local places. We also had a last minute drop off to a thrift store which they were able to accommodate. From the beginning, communication with this place was spotty at best and I had to actually call myself to confirm that they had availability. I waited a few days before contacting them after our initial conversation and the administrator handling the details simply forgot to send us the information. Not very professional. Be warned that they are heavy into texting, so if for some reason you don't have an unlimited plan on your cell phone, you should probably let them know. As I mentioned above, we did request an extra stop but I had to ask twice what the cost was because it was not addressed in the email. Again, not so great communication. The night before, I received a follow-up text to confirm the details and was told that we should expect the movers to arrive at the later part of the arrival window of 8 a.m. - 10 a.m., so after 9 a.m. This was perfect since it would allow us to finish minor packing that was left over without having to wake up too early. Unfortunately, the movers called at 8:15 a.m. to let us know that they would be at our place at 8:30 a.m.! Thirty minutes is a lot of time when you're needing a little extra to prepare, so we were not happy about this. When I spoke to the driver outside, he said that the admin told him that he should be at our place by 8:30 and that was why they arrived so early. The delivery address was also completely wrong and in a different city altogether! Again, bad communication. It didn't help that the head mover and the assistant were not very friendly. Granted, I wasn't in the greatest mood either, but we tried to be friendly and make light of the situation with zero reciprocation from these men. Honestly, by the end we were just ready to get everything over with, pay the guys and move on to unpacking our new place. I understand that this place is smaller and has limitations on the number of people they employ, but I expected much better customer service overall considering the exceptional reviews otherwise. read more

Before the move even begun, they were super flexible in changing our move date and shuffling their crews at the last minute in order to help us try to avoid bad weather that was coming into the area on our original move date. They checked in before and after the move to make sure we were all set for our move and then to make sure we were happy with how the crew performed. That's rare in this industry!
