***BAIT AND SWITCH - UNPROFESSIONAL - UNHYGIENIC*** BAIT AND SWITCH - We hired Movers Best for a short move, and were very disappointed with the service and scam that we were presented with. We requested (and it was confirmed we would be provided) 3 movers for the job, which would have only taken a couple hours - less than the 3 hour minimum, which we were completely fine paying for. The movers called 30 minutes before they arrived as promised; however, they failed to tell us that they were missing a person. When they showed up at our door, there were only 2 movers. Instead of adjusting the hourly rate to reflect the fact that there were 2 movers instead of 3, they merely offered to deduct a small amount from the total sum (I think it was ~$40 - which did NOTHING to offset the additional charge of over $300 for the extra time it took them to move since they were down 1 mover). Extremely poor business practices that they did not inform us of this change when they called 30 minutes before they showed up, giving us an opportunity to decide whether we wanted to reschedule. BAIT AND SWITCH (CONT.) - About an hour in, one of the movers stated that they were going to take a 15 minute break (obviously this was fine with us) and proactively told me that he would not bill us for the time spent while on break. Unfortunately, I was unpacking when my husband paid the movers out front, and it wasn't until he came back in and they had left that I saw they did not deduct the time, and billed us for the entire time. 15 minutes isn't going to break the bank, but it is extremely unprofessional to lie to a client and tell them you are not going to charge them for something, then turn around and charge them for it. UNPROFESSIONAL - One of the movers had the nerve to assert that we should tip them 30%, as that was customary. Um, no. Regardless of the shady service they provided to us, this is never professional and not a good look. UNHYGIENIC - Last but not least, we moved during the peak of the Omicron surge (not by choice), so suffice it to say that businesses and people everywhere were taking extra precautions during this time. Neither of the movers that showed up wore masks during the move, nor did they tell us whether they were vaccinated or had tested negative. I have medical conditions that make me high risk (I'm sure I'm not the only person in this situation who has hired this company), and 100% would not have hired Movers Best had I known they had zero COVID protocols. Unfortunately, we were the ones that had to wear masks the whole time. To make matters worse, one of the movers was coughing throughout the move, and that same mover asked to use our bathroom (at the old house and also at the new house) - which would not have been a big deal except that he did not wash his hands either time. Unsanitary even in pre-pandemic times, but absolutely disgusting and unacceptable today. I would not recommend this moving company to anyone, and certainly would never use them again. We were looking for a quality moving company to take us from Spectrum, Irvine to North County San Diego on New Year's Eve and Movers Best was ready to go. The person who I spoke to first was energetic and easy to speak. When you search on YELP, you have to make your final decision on your gut feeling and Movers Best made me feel more comfortable. 2 days before the move, I got an email confirming my appointment and follow up conversation about any "heavy pieces". On the day of the move, Victor, Rafael, and Fabio called ahead and was on time with smiles on their faces. Loading was quick. They were polite, considerate with our things and cared about minimizing any damage to the home and our things. Unloading took a little longer because they asked where everything needed to be so it was a lot of moving around. For a 4BR to 3BR it was a 3.5 hour job plus the double time for mileage - not bad. They worked hard and didn't waste time (didn't drag out the time). Oh, and they wore their masks the entire time!!! I would recommend Movers Best - ask for Victor, Rafael, and Fabio, they enjoy their work and have youthful energy. A very good experience all the way around. read more

Nick and vitaali are incredible. We just had our move from storage to our new home. They are very polite. Very careful with our furnitures and they even assemble our bedroom set for us! First off, need to give credit where it's due. Leandro, Rafael & Anthony did an amazing job. They moved my 2 bdrm condo, including a gigantic headboard and a ~500lb rolling tool box from Tustin to Irvine. They were always very honest, positive, and worked very hard. Most of all, they were extremely fast! They did not waste time. They were always hustling. They wrapped everything i requested and whatever else they felt needed to be protected and they took really great care not to damage anything. I've had OTHER moving companies add time to the drive to make extra money and move slowly and complain about heavy stuff, but not Movers Best. They were excellent and deserve a solid 5 stars.
