This is a real review. No one asked me to leave a review nor was I incentivezed in anyway. My experience was overwhelmingly positive. The crew chief, Alex, was professional, attentive and caring. We had 6 movers and 2 trucks for 2 days. This was a fixed fee move, which included all the labor and packing supplies for a move that consisted of: pack, move and unpack. Total of 4 bedrooms, 2500 sq. Ft. On the day of the unpack Alex asked me how much should they unpack and I told him till my wife doesn't want to unpack any longer. After 3 hours my wife was tired and satisfied and the team was let go. They didn't rush us even once. Everyone was courteous, professional, careful and attentive. We had an A+ experience. read more

This is the first time I have ever paid for professional movers. A friend used Movers Best in the past twice and had a great experience, so I decided to give them a try. I was moving out of a 1 bedroom apartment into a 3 story townhome. The process to get an estimate was fast. However, I feel a better job could've been done when gauging the actual amount of stuff that needs to be moved. On the day of the move, 2 movers showed up. The movers themselves were very nice and communicative. However, moving the amount of stuff I had should've been at least a 3 person job considering how long it took. I have no idea why the company only sent 2 guys. The movers did the best they could with just the 2 of them and were visibly moving as fast as they could, but this could've gone much faster. I was charged for 12.75 hours total at a rate of $139/hour, and the distance between the old and new place is only 10 miles so the majority of the bill was not due to driving time. I even did 90% of the packing myself before they arrived. I definitely did not expect to have to pay this much money for a simple move this close by. read more

I'm genuinely surprised by all the glowing reviews for this company. Our experience was the complete opposite. We hired them to move the contents of our one-bedroom apartment into a house, and from the moment the movers arrived, things started going downhill. One of them had a noticeable bad attitude right off the bat, which set the tone for the entire move. Here's what we were told by their service department beforehand: 1. The move would take approximately 4 hours (it didn't). 2. We could leave our clothes in the drawers, and the movers would wrap them in Saran Wrap (they didn't--instead, they told us we had to remove everything). We didn't have a lot of stuff--just the usual for a 1 bd room apartment. But when the movers arrived, they immediately said the 4-hour estimate was "impossible." Clearly, there was a major disconnect between the office and the moving crew. And honestly, with how slow they were moving, maybe it was impossible for THEM. Both movers, both were named Alex (so they say). They moved at a snail's pace and after about 90 minutes of "working," they just disappeared. I eventually found them sitting in the truck taking a break--without informing us. Only after I approached them did they bother to call and tell us they were on a 20-minute "water break." Super unprofessional. On top of that, the two of them spoke exclusively in a foreign language to each other throughout the move. We couldn't understand what was being said, which felt disrespectful given their poor attitude and the situation. It definitely didn't create a feeling of trust or professionalism. The move was dragging on so long that my PREGNANT wife and I started moving items ourselves just to keep things moving. And once everything was finally loaded into the truck, things got even worse. The movers somehow managed to "miss" four different freeway exits on the way to our new home. They claimed they had the wrong address--but didn't realize my wife was following them the entire time and clearly saw what was happening. When we got to the house, before they even unloaded a single box, the more aggressive Alex demanded payment immediately, saying their office was now closed. He acted as if we weren't planning to pay them, which was insulting. But once they got paid, their pace suddenly changed--they started moving fast, running back and forth unloading the truck like it was a race. It was strange and frustrating how their energy only kicked in once the money was in hand. All in all, I don't understand how this company has so many positive reviews. That was a major reason I chose them, but I truly regret it. Hopefully your experience is better--but based on ours, I'd strongly recommend proceeding with caution. read more

We have used Movers Best twice now and they have done a pretty good job at being efficient and careful with our belongings. It's definitely not the cheapest option but we like them a lot more than other movers we have had in the past. We also had a Yelp deal that we used to apply for the total cost. We asked them to be careful with our new LVP flooring and they moved things carefully with no damage to our floors. We recommend getting 3 movers at least to not tire them out and have things moving along much quicker. read more

The movers they sent struggled to move a 4 bedroom with multiple flights with high valuable furniture and items after I voiced my concern with the type of movers we needed. They couldn't speak English so we had a hard time to communicating with them, and they dropped multiple items. They also had poor packaging skills as there are scratches and dents on multiple high value items. Dropped a $500 stone coffee table, scratches on our $1700 65" TV, scratches on our $300+ mirrors and had multiple screws and bed frame piece that was missing. Do not use Movers Best for your moving needs. They dropped our 65" TV on the corner which cracked the glass and it no longer works. they were only willing to pay $700 on a $1,500 TV or they would buy an older used TV off of Craigslist and deliver that to us. Both unacceptable. they also dropped a brand new dining room table on its side and then tried to hide the damage by placing that end up against the wall. when we discovered it the delivery crew Foreman came back and patched it up with the worst matching paint possible. Also hey Chanel coin purse mysteriously disappeared during the move when it was safely stored in a tub with other purses. when we called to report all of these items the foreman started texting us angrily saying how dare we report that damage that he didn't do it. When I called him to talk about it he wanted to scream and yell over the phone. highly unprofessional conduct! the last we heard from the company was that they were going to discuss all of these issues with their manager but they have since ghosted us. it's been weeks and no resolution. seriously take your business elsewhere. oh and I would ignore the reviews from the Russians because this is a heavily Russian based company and I'm sure those reviews were posted by friends. read more
