Carlos and his crew will be the first and only moving team I will be calling at my next move! Before this move, I spent hours researching and talking to representatives from 6 different moving companies. After comparing costs and reviews on Yelp and Google, I chose to go with Movers Best. We were scheduled for a weekend move with a 3 person crew to arrive between 9-10am. Carlos texted me at 8:25 to let me know they would be there by 8:45. We did a quick walk through so they could get an idea of what was involved and by 9:00 they were loading the truck! The total move took just under 6 hours. Carlos and the two others on the crew worked quickly and efficiently, not even taking a long break. They were there to get the job done! The move took 13 hours to transport two beds, gym equipment, and a pool table that your team did not disassemble. No refrigerator, stove, washer, or dryer was moved from the property. For a total cost of over $3,300, the service I received was not aligned with the scope of work or industry standards. Throughout the move, your team displayed unprofessional behavior -- including asking to play pool on the very table they complained about moving, and requesting tips multiple times. These actions made me feel taken advantage of at a time when I was relying on your company for a professional service. My request was clear: a minimum of $1,000 as a good‑faith acknowledgment of the excessive labor time, the lack of proper service, and the unprofessional conduct I experienced. Your offer of $700 does not meet that standard. This is not about the money. It is about principle, respect, and accountability. I trusted your company with my home and my belongings, and the experience fell far below what was promised and expected. For these reasons, I respectfully decline the $700 offer. Movers Best sent Carlos and his team to help me with my move. Movers Best was very straightforward in providing me an estimate and worked with me on recommending # of movers. Carlos and his team were prompt and on time, I had a 3 man crew. Right when they arrived, they got to work. They were careful to wrap everything multiple times with the plastic film, boxed whatever was needed, and moved very quickly. The move ended up taking ~5 hours (with the double drive time charged), which was a bit more than I expected, but they spent the time to carefully wrap everything - I'm talking my couch pieces, mattress, bed frame, etc. So I much prefer that they took their time to protect my furniture than to rush through it all. I also paid for a heavy item (Peloton Tread+) and they were able to take care of that no problem. It was raining on the day of the move and they made sure to lay down blankets in any carpeted areas or wear shoe covers so that they wouldn't get the carpet dirty - especially appreciated in my new home with new carpet. If I could give this place negative stars I would. The mover were extremely slow with their pace. Because they charge by hour, they took their sweet time. The move ended up taking 9 hours and being extremely expensive for a local move. We booked for full service, but ended up having to pack half of the home because of how slow they were. Please be aware to spend way over your budget because of their speed. Material fee they charge is also double the market price. After researching several moving companies, reviews, price, and fine print, including a warm referral I felt most comfortable hiring Movers Best. Now that the move is over I felt it was appropriate to share my positive experience with others in search of the same while showing my gratitude to Movers Best and my team of movers, Jota and Yuri. Movers Best is l fairly priced, easy to work with, great communicators, and good hardworking individuals. It was my pleasure doing business with them. After initially hiring them for 11/12 to move us from our 2 bedroom townhome rental to our new 3 bedroom home, our escrow was pushed back and it was raining cats and dogs. They were gracious to answer all of my many questions to make sure there were no surprises, made special accommodations per my request, and gladly pushed my move date back. No deposit required. On moving day, I had no idea what to expect. Ask promised, I received a call from Jota 30 minutes before arrival introducing himself as my mover and letting me know he was on his way. They arrived on time, I shared my goal of wanting to get this move done in 3 hours if possible, gave them a quick walkthrough and direction and we all immediately went to work. Jota and Yuri were pleasant, strong, and fun to work with and that put me to ease. They took no breaks outside of staying hydrated and were absolute beasts getting the big items out of small areas without damaging anything. We got everything we could out and into their moving vehicle and headed out. At this point I knew we would go over 3 hours of no fault of their own, it was a much bigger protect than I anticipated, maybe I should have hired three movers instead of two. We arrived and continued to work at a fast pace until all the work was complete. Thank God, what an ordeal it is moving. Not doing that again, but when I do I'll be hiring Movers Best and requesting Jota and Yuri. Upon completion, they shared the final price which was very fair for 4.5 hours of hard labor without a break. They were flexible allowing me to pay with part cash and Zelle. Because of the excellent experience I tipped them more than I was going to. They earned every penny and if I could I would have given more. Shared my gratitude to them and they took off to their next job. I could not ask for a better experience from start to finish with the company and the movers. Thank you Movers Best. California helped organize my 93 year old father-in-law for the move, with different family members helping on the Northern California receiving end. Please note that the movers will be kind, but they move very very slowly. You also need to budget to pay several hundred dollars more than you are quoted. Me and my husband were told the move out would take 3 hours at most and it was 5 hours. 75% of the boxes were already backed and ready. All that needed to be rapped was big furniture items. We had to help them wrap furniture and move stuff because 3 movers were moving wayyy too slowly. We caught them casually walking back from the truck laughing and catching up, all while we are being clocked by the hour charge. Moving into the next home was better, but just sending FYI so someone else maybe be prepared. Update( 11/23): Movers Best made things right! They got word about the previous review we made and they contacted us almost immediately. In order to make things right, they offered us a generous refund to compensate for our experience. This is a real review. No one asked me to leave a review nor was I incentivezed in anyway. My experience was overwhelmingly positive. The crew chief, Alex, was professional, attentive and caring. We had 6 movers and 2 trucks for 2 days. This was a fixed fee move, which included all the labor and packing supplies for a move that consisted of: pack, move and unpack. Total of 4 bedrooms, 2500 sq. Ft. On the day of the unpack Alex asked me how much should they unpack and I told him till my wife doesn't want to unpack any longer. After 3 hours my wife was tired and satisfied and the team was let go. They didn't rush us even once. Everyone was courteous, professional, careful and attentive. We had an A+ experience. read more

This is the first time I have ever paid for professional movers. A friend used Movers Best in the past twice and had a great experience, so I decided to give them a try. I was moving out of a 1 bedroom apartment into a 3 story townhome. The process to get an estimate was fast. However, I feel a better job could've been done when gauging the actual amount of stuff that needs to be moved. On the day of the move, 2 movers showed up. The movers themselves were very nice and communicative. However, moving the amount of stuff I had should've been at least a 3 person job considering how long it took. I have no idea why the company only sent 2 guys. The movers did the best they could with just the 2 of them and were visibly moving as fast as they could, but this could've gone much faster. I was charged for 12.75 hours total at a rate of $139/hour, and the distance between the old and new place is only 10 miles so the majority of the bill was not due to driving time. I even did 90% of the packing myself before they arrived. I definitely did not expect to have to pay this much money for a simple move this close by. read more

It's definitely not the cheapest option but we like them a lot more than other movers we have had in the past. We also had a Yelp deal that we used to apply for the total cost. We asked them to be careful with our new LVP flooring and they moved things carefully with no damage to our floors. What an amazing company. Got referred from Yelp and spoke with an amazing customer agent named Nicholas who was so friendly, genuine, knowledgeable, humorous, and just an amazing individual. The day before the move they confirmed via email and text. They called me when they were 10 minutes away and the two movers Joao and Mario were efficient, hard working, nice, and quick. They were attentive and communicative and served with a smile. During the move we did notice our tv stand broke but everything else was great and quick.
