I had the pleasure of working with Gerardo, Mark, and Misha. They were excellent in every way. I honestly have never had movers like them. They consistently surprised me. The past few moves we had we were stuck with bro college kids who looked hungover and were screwing around the whole time - working but not hard, and not focusing. Sure they got the job done but were messy and sort of just threw out stuff around. They would have received three stars. Gerardo, Mark and Misha took extraordinary care with all of our belongings. They wrapped everything from my daughters little Mickey Mouse chair to our 65 inch television and 50 inch computer monitor. They asked questions and made sure each piece was supposed to go (as we were leaving some things behind to sell, etc.). They brought wardrobe boxes (and we didn't even ask them to) so we could load up all of our hung clothes. They were obviously extremely careful with masks and were sanitary. They were business and also technicians - they unscrewed and unhinged installed shelving and a televisión and mount for no extra charge. Our move was 8.25 hours total. We had two trips as we had a lot of stuff. They worked hard the whole time. I am extremely happy with our move and give them an A plus. Thanks guys!!! read more

Pros: -were available on the date I needed (on short notice) -arrived right on time, early actually, but didn't mind waiting since I wasn't ready yet -guys worked really hard and were surprisingly strong and capable despite their smaller stature -I was not as ready as I had hoped and had much more things than I realized, and the guys were totally not judgmental about it. They offered to help me pack if I needed them to. I really appreciated that they did not shame me for not being totally prepared. Cons: -guys arrived without masks, in the middle of Covid, so that seemed unprofessional and inconsiderate to me. I provided them with masks and they wore them the whole time, so I didn't hold it against them. I was prepared for this possibility, and made sure that I did not pack the disposable masks I had. -trucks were apparently very dirty inside. Many of my belongings (mattress in particular) had splinters of wood stuck on them. When I asked the guys about it, they said it's from the truck. When I suggested that they should sweep in between clients, they explained that no, it's the ACTUAL truck coming apart, as opposed to debris left behind. So perhaps the company wants to invest in new trucks or repair of existing trucks? Anyway, I feel that this company is honest and hard-working. I would take precautions next time like buying a bag for my mattress. (I asked in advance and they said I didn't need one. I beg to differ.) I think the most important thing in a moving company is reliability and people who care for personal items. I think these guys got five stars on both. The docking of one star is because I had to clean splinters off of my things after the guys left. All in all though, I'm happy. read more

I went thru yelp to find a moving company for my move. All the companies I spoke with were great, but Movers Best is one that I ultimately settled on. I liked my communication with them. They weren't pushy at all and they gave me space to mull my decision over. As far as the move, they came on time, scoped out what needed to be moved and then did their thing. I was a little nervous at first because they seemed like they didn't wanna be there Maybe it was too early in the morning? In any case, they turned out to be really cool and really professional. They wrapped the large furniture and my TV really good. At the new place, they asked if they needed to take off their shoes, which was nice of them, but I told them no because it'd be too hard for them going in and out of the house. I went through many yelp reviews for Movers Best as well as other moving companies and decided to go with Movers Best. Like many companies on yelp it's hard to sift through all of the reviews with a some reviewers providing negative ratings. I can only speak about my experience: Oscar, Christian and Ulysses were beyond amazing. They showed up on time and were extremely efficient. They handled my items with care, wrapping the fragile items carefully with ample padding (blankets, shrink wrap, tape, etc). They loaded my items in their truck with thought and tied down everything that had potential of breaking. They did not waste a minute packing and loading/unloading. When unloading they always asked where I wanted each piece of furniture, what rooms to place each item/box. Getting a couch upstairs with 2 turns was a difficult task that they were able to achieve without damaging any walls or doors. Regarding Sales/Customer Service (Will& Julia). They were extremely friendly and prompt when ever I had a question. 24-48 hours before my move I had a note to reach out and confirm the upcoming move, and they beat me to it and confirmed the time before I could reach out. I was expecting a lot more from Movers Best since I had looked the company up on Yelp beforehand. They quoted me a 3 hour move but I ended up getting charged for 6 hours. It was a one bedroom apartment move that was less than 0.5 miles away. IT TOOK THEM 6 HOURS. I moved from San Diego to Irvine with a different company in 6 hours (including travel time and breaks). Not only did they double the time quoted, but they also broke one of our clocks. The move was taking so long that my husband and I helped unload at the second location to hurry things along. They unloaded everything into our living room still wrapped in plastic at the end of the 6 hours. I have worked with other moving companies before so this experience was disappointing. I did give two starts because the movers were nice even though they didn't do the best job. In my opinion, you can find a fairly priced mover that works diligently to get the job done. read more

I had such a wonderful, positive experience using Mover's Best. I am very grateful for all the work my movers put in. I moved from one 1bd-1bath to another, but grossly underestimated how much help I needed. I essentially did not lift a hand. Even still my movers got through all of my boxes and bags and absolutely everything was in tact! To make it more impressive, it was also raining on/off through the day. It was the worst possible day, and a fairly last minute move, but Mover's Best really put in so much effort to making sure my move went well. When the guys showed up they were surprised to learn that I was just moving from one building to a different one across the street and that they wouldn't need their truck as everything had to be walked over. Updating my review. 5 stars is for the move. Like I said before, the move was flawless. What I was most impressed with was the disassembly and reassembly. The team started off quick and efficient, slowed down by noon (understandably) and sped back up after lunch. I've unpacked about 95% of my belonging and so far no broken items My previous 2 star rating was for the safety protocols and having to pay for the crews lunch break. These 2 issues have been resolved and worked through. What this company has going for them is the fact that they're willing to work through these issues and resolve them. That means a lot. I do want to mention also, their booking system is a lot more efficient and responsive than most moving companies. I contacted over 10 and really only heard back from 3 or so. I went with movers best because they had the earliest moving date available at the time. I would definitely use them again however, just like any other service, my advice would be to make sure you're being charged correctly. read more

I have to commend Mover's Best for reaching out to me within 15 minutes of posting my original review. Although, nothing will change my moving nightmare with Mover's Best, they have demonstrated how important their customers are to them. I spoke with Bobby on the phone, providing him details of our move day from the positives to the negatives. It's how a company handles its short-comings which reflects how strong a company is built upon a customer focused foundation. Not once, during our conversation did Bobby attempt to conjure up "excuses" for his employees or defend them in anyway. Bobby was very understanding about why we were so appalled by the service that we received. He made it his goal to do whatever he could to somehow alleviate our displeasure. My 2-star review for the original move service I received has not changed. However, when a company stands up to its mistakes and makes it right for its customer, I truly believe this reflects far greater than a 5-star review. What a great experience, my Mom passed away, and I was so concerned with the Covid virus and finding good movers to move her furniture out of her assisted living apartment and then making 2 stops from Mission Viejo to Placentia and Fullerton. Great vendor/client communication. The moving crew arrived on time and were done on time. They packed everything carefully and quickly. It was amazing. The next day, 400 miles later. A different truck arrived with ONLY 1 guy. We had to wait for a random person/hired help to arrive. That second person arrived late. So the only guy began unpacking solo. It took 6 hours to unload and reassemble. Since all our stuff had to be repacked into a different truck, items came out broken and "fragile" labelled boxes crunched. The company gave me a small discount. But I am uncertain about the rest of our stuff yet to be unpacked. Hopefully, nothing else is damaged. Overall, as a company, great start but a VERY poor finish. I felt terrible for Alex who practically did the unloading solo and had to drive back that same night! UPDATE: Mark from Movers Best reached out immediately. As a company, they were genuinely concerned that they did not go above and beyond expectations. They held themselves accountable and ensured proper compensation to guarantee client satisfaction. Most of all, moving forward, Mark described how they will correct their process to prevent reoccurrence. Wow. Logan and Mike are the two beat movers I know and I am super grateful I met them. I believe we will stay in each others lives after the move because we bonded so well.
