I am at a beginner level and the green lines were still a tad more difficult, but everyone going down looks out for everyone. I was very impressed with the ski patrol as a fell quite a few times and they were there to check on me. The area itself was very clean and again, everything is easily walkable. I noticed an outdoor playground for the kiddos when it's warmer out to play on. The food options here are good. Almost everywhere was a bit crowded, but we were able to wait for our food and then take it back to the Airbnb. I was very impressed with this place on every level. A beautiful spacious apartment, with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. It easily slept the six of us and we did not feel the least bit over crowded. As there was a group of us the price really was pretty reasonable for the weekend. While family friendly, it could be a bit pricey. The kitchen comes with everything you need from dinner ware to dish soap. There is a large grill on the private porch besides the stove top and oven. Two fireplaces (one is gas and the other you have to light for which they provide all needed materials). There are two flat screen TVs in the main rooms, another in the master bedroom and a small one in the bunk room. The shower in the master bath is huge and there is also a separate large tub. The best part is the large porch that overlooks the beach and Lake Michigan. It wraps around the side around to the back. the view of the lake and Sleeping Bear Dunes is beautiful. The resort also has a gym, outdoor pool and hot tub. Blu, a restaurant I highly recommend, is attached. There is also free wifi (they provide a password). The staff was also amazing, expect to be treated like an honored guest. They take care if anything you might need, even marsh mellows. The only slightly negative thing is that Lebear is a bit off on its own in Glen Arbor. The wineries are about a half hour away which was reasonable. Glen Arbor is small but charming. There are several shops, a couple bars (try Art's Tavern) and a grocery store. The resort is a very short walk from the town.

We have stayed at the Homestead in years past, but the Lebear location really sets it apart as it is a quick walk to the grocery stores, restaurants and shops in Glen Arbor. My only complaint is a minor one, and it's just that the bedroom situation is a little funky. In all three of the units I saw, the master bedroom was perfect, but the two smaller guest rooms left much to be desired. One of the bedrooms has a nice queen bed and bunk beds and the other has a double or queen-sized trundle bed. I would think to put the trundle bed in the room with the bunk beds (making it more of a "kids" room) and leave the nice queen-sized bed in its own room. Also, the hallway lighting outside of the two smaller guest rooms was extremely bright at night and made it very difficult to sleep.

There wasn't much information to go off of online so we went in sort of blindly. The room was huge with a massive bunk bed and a seperate bed as well. There was a full sized fridge/freezer combo, a coffee maker and mugs and some other accessories, and some little snacks things. Towels and washcloths were also provided. There is an air conditioner which I wasn't expecting as well as an electric heater. Firewood is available for a small free and they will set up chairs and a table near the fire pit. The security of coming in each hot day to an air conditioned, clean bed is wonderful. There are communal bathrooms which are basically an actual single person bathroom with a shower. The Lodge provides you with quarters to use with the shower so it doesn't actually cost anything. They also supply a large amount of material on local attractions and restaurants. We had an incredibly amazing time and are so thankful we booked here! The price was so low for everything we were provided with and the service was amazing. We did not rent ATVs, however, we snowmobile frequently in this area in the winter and there is a massive two track system and many beautiful trails. If you have the time, this would be well worth your while.

I think there are 3 singles, a duplex and a triplex. I was in Cabin 2 which has 2 double beds, a TV, bathroom, mini-fridge and microwave all in like 250 sq feet (this is a complete guesstimate). There is also a picnic table in the front of each cabin. Cedar Ridge has a tiny cabin game room with various board games, foosball table and various outdoor sporting goods. There is a fire pit (you can buy a bundle of wood for like 5-10 bucks), a badminton net, horseshoe pit and 2 frisbee golf nets. The only drawback is the cabins are closer to the highway than I'd like. You can hear the trucks zoom by while you sit outside by the picnic table. The prices are very reasonable though and I would definitely stay here again.

Stephanie had called and left a message on the way letting us know that no one would be there to check is in and how to access our room. It was super easy, and we appreciated the social distancing. People in town we're wearing masks outside and restaurants were open & the people in the restaurants working there were wearing masks. All in all, I feel like Michigan felt really safe for someone like me who has an auto immune disease and so therefore needs to be more careful than regular folks. But I think everybody needs to be careful now, let's be real. The Ramsdell Inn is in an old bank, very cool building with a lot of history. The room we had was decorated to reflect the era, our bed was a big wooden one, with fresh clean linens and plenty of pillows. We also had a very striking fireplace that we obviously would never use in July but it was it was cool. We were up and out the door by 7 AM to catch the ferry back to Milwaukee So we appreciated the granola and kind bars that were left in our room for us. We really weren't in this lovely inn or the town for very long but we loved it. And we will be back.
