This location really shared the love with us even after over a month past Valentine's Day thanks guys ‍

8/10 super friendly staff thanks for making us feel welcomed need to try out the bar station next time I come in. Is there a happy hour anytime ?

Positive vibes from Iris today! Very professional and helpful. Polite and hard working as she was only employee at the moment. Thank you for creating a positive experience.

Extra Sauce?
David B.

Ordered my usual pepperoni pizza and Tucson Garlic pizza with extra sauce over the phone for pickup. When we picked it up, the Tuscan garlic was missing the sun dried tomatoes. They substituted regular tomatoes because they stated they were out of sun dried tomatoes. We accepted the pizza, but felt they should have told us when we placed our order. The sun dried tomatoes make the Tuscan garlic in my opinion. When we got home, we noticed both pizzas were light on sauce and the Tucson garlic was missing the green onions and the Louisiana hot sausage. They did put Italian sausage instead, but this is another substitution we were not told about. What has happened to this location? The employee sky was rude, but the manager offered to remake the pizzas and have them delivered. Our hopes are not set high, because we assume they will be just as bad. *Replacement pizzas arrived 93 minutes after my phone call with the manager made correctly with the tomato substitute and extra sauce. Too bad they were cold.

My last review was over a year ago, and I recently returned for lunch with family. We had another…read moregreat experience overall. There are lots of choices, so there's something for everyone. It also wasn't too crowded, which made for a nice, relaxed lunch. Some of my favorites were the Shumai, Chow Mein, and Fried Shrimp. There was also a shrimp dish with garlic and red pepper flakes that I really liked. They offer a couple of soups, and I tried the Hot and Sour Soup, which had good flavor. They have several dessert options, but I kept it simple with one of the little chocolate ice cream cups. The guy bussing the tables was quick and attentive. He was on top of clearing away finished plates, picking them up as soon as you placed them to the side. The reason I couldn't give this visit 5 stars, however, was the added "service charge." I don't recall noticing this the last time I was here, but apparently it's now part of their pricing structure: 8% service charge for parties of 8 or fewer. 10% service charge for parties of 9 or more. 18% service charge for parties of 20 or more. In my opinion, if you're going to charge everyone a service fee, just build it into the advertised prices. At the very least, make customers aware of it before they get to the register. There is a small sign posted near the cash register (pictured), but it's easy to miss. We were a party of 6, so the 8% charge was added to our bill without me really noticing. We also had two people in our party who received the senior discount, which was a nice. Overall, the food selection is good, there's something for everyone, and we enjoyed our lunch. I just don't care for these additional service charges, especially when they're not clearly communicated upfront. I would still dine here but I feel it's misleading.

I would give 4/5 stars, but unfortunatly they took away the snow crab legs on their dinner buffet,…read moreand the price has remained the same. However, I have been here so many times. As it is one of my kids FAVORITE. The variety is awesome, the clams are delicious. The seafood boil they have is always on point. I decided to give M Kitchen Buffet a try after reading the Yelp reviews, and I'm glad I did. There…read morearen't a lot of great Chinese buffet options in the area, so I came in with reasonable expectations, and this place exceeded them. Before I get into the review, I think it's only fair to mention that I rate buffets differently than traditional restaurants. My expectations are based on other buffets, where freshness, consistency, food rotation, and value matter just as much as presentation. This feels more like a small, family-owned neighborhood buffet than a large commercial chain, and I actually think that's part of its charm. The buffet isn't huge, but I'd rather have a smaller selection that's done well than a massive buffet where half the food has been sitting under heat lamps for hours. I sampled most of the buffet, and overall I was impressed. My favorite dishes were the beef chow fun noodles, chow mein, honey pork, fried rice, teriyaki chicken, and the spicy chicken wings. The wings were especially good, they were nice and meaty with a great flavor and weren't loaded with fat like buffet wings sometimes are. Other solid choices were the sweet and sour pork, broccoli beef, and fried green beans. The only items that didn't really stand out to me were the vegetable egg rolls and crab rangoons. They weren't bad by any means, just average compared to the rest of the buffet. One thing that really stood out was how well the buffet was maintained. A staff member was constantly cleaning, rotating trays, and refilling food, so everything stayed warm and fresh throughout my visit. I never came across anything that was cold or looked like it had been sitting for a long time. The soda station was clean, drinks were self-serve, and the staff was friendly whenever I interacted with them. Most of the customers seemed to be ordering takeout rather than dining in, and after seeing the portions, I completely understand why. The takeout containers were packed so full they were almost difficult to close. For the price, the value here is outstanding. The only reason I'm not giving this place five stars comes down to presentation. The dining room itself is clean, but it's very simple. From the drink station you can see directly into part of the kitchen, and the plumbing underneath the soda and ice machine is exposed, which makes the restaurant feel less polished. I didn't see anything that made me question the cleanliness or food safety; it was more of an aesthetic issue than a sanitation concern, but it does affect the overall atmosphere. That said, when I judge this place as a buffet rather than comparing it to a full-service restaurant, the food quality, freshness, service, and value easily outweigh those cosmetic issues. Would I come back? Absolutely. If you're looking for an affordable Chinese buffet with consistently fresh food, friendly staff, generous portions, and flavors that honestly surprised me, M Kitchen Buffet is definitely worth checking out.

I feel like I've upgraded from typical Chinese buffets with the weird gelatin cakes from that one specific bakery that distributes said cakes to all these low-level Chinese buffets. But sometimes I gotta return to the trenches! The inside is cute with a lot of booths and Japanese decorations. The center consists of a sushi bar with a functioning boat, chefs making rolls and putting jello onto the little floaties. The back has the standard Americanized Chinese fare. Bonus: there is a "Mongolian BBQ" station where a cook will stir fry your creation. Pricing is pretty decent considering there is more than just the hot trays of Chinese. The food itself was pretty OK. Sushi is basic to below average with huge 65-35 rice proportions, so get ready to be full fast. The sushi chefs also focused on saucy rolls vs nigiri. Because there is seating around the sushi boat, it was funny witnessing socially-unaware people go up behind people sitting there to grab a plate even though there was a huge space at the end of the island without seating to avoid this. Anyways, we ate a bunch to get our money's worth and could cross this off the list to never have to go again.

Simple tables and chairs, 2 bathrooms (with disposable seat covers available), and disposable plates, forks, cups, etc. Floor was just a little sticky. You just walk right in, grab a plate, and start loading up. Once you sit down, someone will bring drinks. While there, many people came in for the to-go options. When we went to pay our bill, they also offered a $4.95 kids price. What? Not sure how they survive! Would definitely come back if I were a local.

I come here for one reason only, CRAB! They had two types of blue crabs, one with ginger and green onions and a salty fried version. The fried version is my favorite because it is less mess.
