Ok...I have been to this spot multiple times. See my earlier review...gave it a 4 star too. I have gotten the garlic cheese sticks on gluten free bread from here multiple times before. I placed the same order for 2 garlic cheese sticks again this past weekend. The person (new) who was on the phone was unsure about being able to do this and I told him I have done it multiple times before. He finally relented and I said I am ok to pay a little more. He said my order was $21. Fine. I drive 20 minutes to get here and the "manager" comes out all bristle and says he has never done this order before and has to charge me $45. All you have to do is look at my earlier orders! It's not about the $ but the idea that he thought it was ok to more than double what they said I had to pay on the phone was NOT OK based on principle. I ended up just leaving. NEVER coming back here again and would recommend you stay away as well. I wasted 40 minutes of my life along with some unnecessary aggravation. read more

We order pizza from here more often than we should. It's just SO good. And you HAVE to order the garlic cheesy knots. Yum! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Fresh ingredients. Easily customizable. Since we live a few blocks away, we order and pick up because delivery is hit-or-miss. Pick up is just a better option for us. Always hot. The location itself is spacious. Clean and fun for kids who like to play games. TV's for the adults. It's a busy place come Friday night. read more

Probably one of the best mountain Mike's locations you could go to! (Although, I've never really had a bad experience at one though). We went for the lunch buffet. Pizza was pleasantly stocked and there were many choices to choose from. Everything tasted well made, from the variety of pizza to the cheesy bread. The salad bar was filled with all the selections. Staff was friendly. Inside, the building is definitely modernized compared to many other franchise locations I've been to. Enjoyed our visit! read more

Very disappointed! Between the tip and the delivery charge being over 20% of the total bill, the driver didn't even bother to knock, or ring the bell, when he dropped the pizzas off to the side of our front step. My wife discovered the delivery when she opened the door to see if the delivery was in sight yet. She just happened to notice them sitting there in the cold as she was closing the door. At least it was good, but not as hot as it should have been, no telling when it was dropped off before she opened the door. read more

I have ordered Mt. Mike's mozzarella sticks 2 times in the past month or so. Both times when I opened the foil there was a bloc of cheese, just a big blob of cheese melted in the middle and crusts of the sticks which were empty as if everything exploded when heated up. Could not pull a "stick" if I wanted to, There is much improvement to be made here and for a $10 snack, they can do better than the melted blob I get every time. read more

The DoorDash app wanted me to add all of the toppings I wanted, I didn't select any meat because a meat pizza should have plenty of meat... the ticket suggests I requested to have each meat removed from my pizza... who orders a hamburger without the beef? Pizza was great even after delivery, we ordered relatively late and picked up ourselves. Would absolutely recommend for a pineapple pizza experience. Cheese sticks were also great, but they forgot our dipping sauces for that and the desert. Kind of a big deal but not a deal breaker. Customer service was truly horrible, no one is in the front to greet nor there to serve you throughout your dining experience. The pizza was great and the wings were alright. For the non existent ambiance , An employee decided it was a great idea to mop right next to our table and all around it. No where else. Just next to our table. The fumes of the bleach and other mixed chemicals made my mother sick and the rest of the party, it was extremely rude as it felt like it was made on purpose to make us leave. Let me start off by saying, the pizza and service were great! Nice folks there, and they make a delicious pie. I ordered a mini pizza (thinking it was more like a personal pizza, for 1) and picked it up. The box they gave me was comically small, i had to fight giggling when they handed it to me. Seriously, this small pie was cut into 6 pieces, each piece was as small as a packet of red chili flakes. NO JOKE! Check out the pics! The ingredients were very fresh, and the pizza was hot! It was really good! I will have to try out a larger pizza at some point, when i improve my credit rating. Thats the other thing. They are pricey! You would think they would lower the price on their pies, they are on the edge of the only lower income apartment complexes in town (ive lived at both) yet they charge Caughlin Ranch long dollars! I order pizza from this location at least once or twice a month. The toppings are always fresh and pizza is really good. They always get my order right and have it ready as promised (I usually pick up on my orders). The staff is friendly and ambience of the newly remodeled restaurant is nice. My most recent order was placed through the app and I tried using a coupon code, but got an error message -- if that happens to you, just call in your order and the staff will take care of you. read more

My boyfriend and I went into the location on yosemite blvd in modesto...great pizza, but they charged him twice, $46. They said the first swipe of his card didn't go through so he swiped it again and then he got the receipt . Later after we got home he called to check his card and he was correct it had been charged twice . We contacted them and also his card but nothing could be done and nothing still has been done. This pizza is the hype, lots of veggies, meats, and the legendary pepperoni was exceptionally good. I loved that there wasn't too much crust- very flakey and moist- hands down best part of this pizza is the toppings! If you are looking for thicker crust or heavier this is not the pizza for you. Ordered delivery as it was near were I was staying, delivery was friendly and on point. Could not ask for more as I utilized grub hub for purchase. We have been on a mission to find GREAT pizza while up here in Mountain View. We have been disappointed by at least 6 places we have tried. We were beginning to wonder: Doesn't anywhere make pizza that doesn't have a soggy, floppy crust? Is there nowhere that doesn't skimp on the sauce and toppings? Whatever happened to REAL cheese that actually melts and is gooey and stringy when you pull off your slice?? Then on Sunday, we tried Mountain Mike's! 3/24/2023 This place had lunch buffet but it was about to end soon and a big group of people had just left when we got there. Because it was almost the end time of the lunch buffet they did not take out more pizza (us and I think 2 other people were actively eating). The soda dispenser had no diet and we think they have been out of diet for awhile based on other reviews. Usually I am one to speak up in a restaurant, but based on our interaction with the staff, we felt that it would end up with me being frustrated. But you know what, even this warm pizza and indifferent environment did not detract from how yummy this pizza was. The burnt pieces of pepperoni were heavenly. So heavenly, that we ate at another mountain Mikes location later on this trip (closer location) They just need to get their diet working and I would go back. I can serve myself . Let me start off by saying that the food was great. We ordered 2 medium pizzas and 2 orders of the wedge fries. We had our kids and nieces with us. Pizzas were tastey but no ketchup provided or available for wedge fries which was a let down for the kiddos. Service was good for a Tuesday evening dine-in service, young girl helped us out, took our order and had an overall good attitude. The biggest issue we had was in the restrooms and drink station. Bathrooms were completely out of soap! Soup dispensers were filled with water! Seriously? We notified the front of the house girl about it and asked if there was any more soap and she replied "No, sorry we are all out". To top it off, we grab our cups and notice the drink station. We start pouring our beverage and notice the well was filthy, like if it hadn't been cleaned in weeks . Mountain Mike's, how the hell do you not provide soap for customers to wash thier hands? Are the cooks washing thier hands with soap? There was an Albertsons 2min away, right down the street. I feel like this should have been a critical management priority as soon as your manager noticed you were all out of it. It baffles me how management could not act upon such a crucial part of basic hygiene and food safety. Mountain Mike's please stock up on soap! Might save you from a food born illness outbreak seemingly from your restaurant. read more

Havnt had pizza in a while, and man it was good! Ordered their Luau, Robbers Roost, BBQ at the Ranch, and a half cheese half sausage and pineapple. They were awesome to add pickles to the Luau (DONT HATE, it was so good!), and honored a coupon for a free Apple Pie! Very nice guys and manager was helpful. Thank you!! Lame service.. they didn't honor the 49 res special on Tuesday here after the game.. I placed an order online through the App.. the Indian gal at the counter just said" Oh I don't know about it" .. even after showing the online promotion with their location listed she said" Oh I just don't know! I called the Mountain View store, mentioned the mistake and asked if they could cancel the order or give me a credit for future. My very first time here was on Thursday evening. I always see it around but never had the chance to eat here until now. My impressions about it was that it's a chain pizza place and coming from NJ, I know a thing about great pizza. So when I tried ordering "a slice" (that's how we say it on the east coast), they said they don't have slices, but I could get a mini. And you get 3 toppings on that. Awesomeness! I went with mushrooms, artichokes, and black olives. It was like less than 10mins and I had my pizza to go. Since I had to go to my bible study, I wolfed down 2 slices in the car. My very first taste was how stringy the cheese is, as it literally stretched a foot long! That is a sign of quality cheese right there! And though my preference is thin crust pizza, I can accept theirs. Best thing is piping hot pizza. I could easily make this a weekly tradition. read more

Pizza was good, but it was a painful experience from placing my order to pick up for our end of the year basketball party. Where to begin...it started two days before I ordered when I called to inquire how much advanced notice I need to give the restaurant for 6 XL pizzas. The man who answered the phone was very short with me and acted like I was asking a ridiculous question. He said one hour. Fast forward to today, I spoke with the same guy at 11:40am to pick up my order at 1:15. I purposely planned on over an hour- just in case. When we showed up at 1:05, things just got odd. I asked how he was doing that day and he went on to say he was not doing well and explained how much he had been working the last two days. I said well "hang in there." And he continued to say he doubts anyone else has had such a horrible year. Way too personal. Ok. I asked about my pizzas he said that an oven was broken so it was going to take longer than planned. He said 20 minutes longer. Let me say at that point we were the only customers in the place. I get things happen and I would have stayed patient, but it was this kid's odd and pompous attitude really set me over the edge. This was hands down the worst customer service of my life. I had people at a park waiting on the pizzas. I asked for the manager and he said there were only three guys working that day and that the manager was working on orders in the back. Then he had the nerve to say along the lines of "I should be back there helping, but I'm up here talking to you". Finally, the pizzas came out and even more attitude from the guy. He had to have the last word by saying "I can give you the owners phone number but these pizzas were only a few minutes late." Managers/owners please train your employees to treat their customers professionally. After $220, and a headache, I will not be returning. read more

But we got different times both times we called. When we got there at 5:30, there was no buffet. It's Wednesday nights. Not happy that we were told Yes 2 times. Oh well.... Then we find out that the soda machine is out of order, with a limited selection of bottled sodas. Then we order ice water and told they don't have ice. WTH??? The place was dark, the electric menu board wasn't working, so we had to look at the cashiers menu, which was a little dirty. Sadly, since Covid, this place's interior as gone down hill. read more

I live really close to this pizza place. Within ten minutes. Every time that I get pizza delivered to my house it is consistently cold! I now put my oven on at home about 30 minutes after ordering because I am not really into paying over $30 and eating cold pizza! Whatever time of day I order, whether noon, 3 pm or even 7 pm, the pizza always takes just over an hour to get to me! Every time that I call I always get the "Our driver just left" statement. This is such a disappointment to me as I really like mountain mikes pizza, and they are the only pizza that delivers to my house.
