We ended up stopping by to grab food to go for a late-night dinner after we arrived to our hotel across the street. The menu was a slight pain to read, for whatever reason they didn't show just a regular pep on the menu just the specialty pizzas. The food itself was delicious but holy cow, the prices are ridiculous. We were charged $31 just for a large pepperoni pizza, we didn't even get double meat or anything even the "Dragons Bounty" thing we bought which came with a bunch of sides was only $20. So for one pizza, one of the dragons bounty & one bottle of soda we were charged $61 but we were kind of stuck here because not a lot of spots open at that time so we dealt with it. Inside of this location could use an update or a deep clean. read more

10/1/19 From the host... They double charged the order. It was prepaid and when the hosts family member picked up, he paid again and they took payment. After the host discovered they were double charged, the host called and called and called with no answer. Apparently they are closed for good shortly after order was picked up. The host contacted the bank and financial institution credited one of the charges-Thank goodness. Written on 9/21/19 Short and not so sweet....... Had the pizza at a kids party. Host ordered 4 large pizzas and breadsticks. Looking forward to enjoying at the party.......... but either the sauce or cheese upset my stomach. It felt like a baseball bat hit hard in the tummy. Round Table Pizza has always been my favorite pizza chain in Northern California. This location has never given me any problems in the 7+ years I've been a customer, and when it comes to pizza delivery, they always deliver my pizza on time. I was told that there's a new store manager that transferred from another location; let's hope he's at least as good as the previous guy. I usually just get a large pepperoni pizza from here, so there's nothing fancy to write about it, other than it's always warm and delicious. Lastly... While Round Table Pizza isn't the cheapest pizza chain, the ingredients they use help make up for the extra money you end up paying; I'd rather pay more for good pizza than pay less for bad pizza. I recommend this location to every pizza lover. read more

Oscar the manager is an asshole. Never go to this location. My favorite at round table is the lunch buffet. I love how all of the salad bars have pineapples so I can fill up a plate of pineapple and add it to the pepperoni slices from the buffet. It's my absolute favorite combination. Now I've come across other round table locations that don't stock the salad bar with pineapples. I understand. But when a paying client points out the lack of pineapples at the salad bar 99% of other round tables are sweet enough to provide a complimentary side of pineapples. Mr frugal manager over here Oscar however doesn't care about customer experience much I guess because he rather adamantly demand an extra charge for a side of pineapples...when I paid for all you can eat! The Pizza was small for medium and overpriced. And over cooked. The delivery guy was so lazy he didn't want to press buzzer to take elevator to deliver to me. As far as chains go, Round Table Pizza isn't a bad option. I like how their sauce has that little extra kick to it, a nice little spicy zest that complements the flavors of the pizza. This location of Round Table Pizza is located in a strip mall near a Safeway. There is plenty of seating space, the most obvious of which being right when you walk into the restaurant, although there's more seating to the right of the counter (behind the arcade). As this seating is a bit more "hidden," it also tends to be a bit quieter, too, which is why I usually like sitting off in this corner. Service is very friendly, people who seem to really appreciate being there and working with customers. I've never been disappointed by the people taking my order from behind the counter. I would usually go with their $7 lunch buffet, which is a pretty good option for someone who feels like: a. eating a lot and/or b. having variety! As for the pizza, it's not bad as far as chains go! I definitely prefer some of the local pizza joints around Sunnyvale, but honestly, this is probably the best local pizza buffet that I've encountered. The local joints either don't do buffets, or else don't do them very well. Round Table's buffet comes with lots of options for both pizza as well as sides (including their frosted cinnamon sticks). This is a great location snuggled in a strip mall near Safeway. The manager is Ron, very professional and friendly transferred from the location that was closed off of grant. This location has great parking, clean and much larger then the other location. Never a crumb left after our son leaves. This review is solely for their call center. The girl that answered was named, Destiny. SHE WAS INCREDIBLY RUDE. I called to order dinner for my family tonight. I told he I had two separate transactions and she confirmed. I asked for 1/2 Kind Arthur and 1/2 maui zaui with Zesty sauce. Now mind you, we had the website open and we were ordering from that. Destiny then asked us several times what we were saying after repeating ourselves several times, we clarified that we wanted marinara sauce. She responded by saying "Oh ok well, it's not zesty sauce." And we informed her that we were ordering it straight from the website. She then had the audacity to tell us, "Well you're wrong, it's not called that. We call it Pizza Sauce." Ok fine. I was a little annoyed but I was hungry so I overlooked it. Maybe it was a busy night. My stomach was more important. But then she continued to display poor customer service. After taking my first order, she quickly took my information. She was very short with me and every time I gave her a piece of info she would quick cut me off asking me for the next bit of info. Then when I had finished giving all of my info, she tired rushing me off the phone and hanging up. I quickly reminded her not to hang up as I had told her that I needed to make another order, to which she replied by saying that she already processed it on that card and she can't do it on the same card. I had already told her that it was going to be on another card. I reminded her of that and how she had confirmed earlier in our call. She sighed and asked me, "What do you want?" monotonously. I grew up eating Round Table pizzas and I expect the best from them. We ordered two large pizzas with an order of Garlic Parmesan Twist. Pizzas usually take about 20 mins to bake, so waiting is a must. My inner child decided to come out to play. I noticed the little arcade area and I couldn't help myself. I sprang. Out of my seat and dashed over to check out the games they had. Feeling a little nostalgic when I saw Metal Slug and Marvel vs. Capcom 2. I decided to give Metal Slug a go, but didn't realized until I inserted my quarter that one of the buttons didn't work. Needless to say, I lost a quarter to the machine. Short after the pizzas and twists came. Food was exactly the way I remembered it. I love eating my pizza and twist with a little bit of ranch dressing on the side. The ranch dressing looked like it was frozen, it was kinda of difficult to apply to my food. Speaking of hard to apply to food, don't sit under the fan. We had a function to go to at 7:30 and had about an hour and a half to burn. We saw the Round Table from the road and thought that it would be just a pop-in, grub, and run. The staff was very playful setting a great atmosphere. We sat in the back corner near one of the televisions. There were seven of us (adults and kids). The nook was great for all of us to sit. Our order was place and we received it in no time. The pizza was very good and the cheesy bread was awesome too. Not only was the staff fun, they were really accommodating. We had pretty much taken over that little section and the kids were restless. I asked if it would be okay if we changed the channel on the tv. The manager, without hesitation, grabbed a remote and gave it to me. We put it on Nick Jr. and it only got better. The staff interactions with each other was seamless and cooperative. The folks there seemed to enjoy being there with each other. Brian, Eugenia, Carlos, Ryan and Nikolay made the visit there awesome. If I am in that area, I will definitely go there again. read more

The 1 star is for the driver. My experience was from the CALL CENTER and a delivery we had tonight out of the Bernardo location. Our driver was very friendly. No complaints on him. When I called to place the order, I assured the agent that we would need "extra" marinara for our 16 piece bread order. When the order came, there were only 2 marinaras. (That is the equivalent to a few tablespooons.) Driver apologized (I still tipped $6) and called the call center, hoping for them to make me whole and either re-deliver (quickly) or refund the breadsticks. (Our total order was close to $100 however, so this seemed reasonable.) The woman I spoke to said he was on his way back with the marinara. I said if he is not here soon, it will be too late. 20 minutes later, and cold breadsticks, I called a THIRD time. I said CANCEL the delivery the bread is cold and hard. I just want my card credited on the breadsticks. Instead, I was offered a $2 credit on my next visit or a re-delivery. The children are young and would not even be awake to enjoy them. You must be kiding me? Asked for a supervisor, who by the way was completely patronizing and rude. "Yes, that's what I said. $2 or re-delivery on the bread. I am not approved to credit more than that." Over and over (read from a script of some sort) I heard the same line. MARINA was her name. I am expecting to hear from Vanessa who is a supervisor at the call center. If this goes further, and I spend more time on this experience, I will expect a full refund. In today for the lunch buffet deal. The service at the register was courteous and attentive. The location was pretty busy and there were a few tables in the front needing bussing and clearing so my group went to the far back. The buffet was lackluster. The pizza was replenished frequently but the smallish pies were sliced into very narrow portions and there was not a broad variety. The salad section was not great, the salad mix needed to be run thru the salad spinner a bit longer...glad they washed it but it was too wet. The salad add-ins were a pretty good range, and nicely re-filled. The dressing selection was pretty good as well. The location overall was a little rough in terms of overall maintenance and upkeep. I would give them a second chance but won't make a point to go back soon. read more

Get 50% off your total purchase every tuesday! *dine in or carry-on only". He put me on hold again and apparently his manager was now on the line, Yesenia. I started to tell Yesenia my location and she began to immediately talk over me to tell me we may or may not honor that coupon. I said "uhhhh what? I thought we were picking a location. ...?" And then it just went south from there because she was being incredibly rude and extremely defensive about some coupon I barely mentioned. She's a nut. The store on Hollenbeck has terrible customer service, and this store has always been so friendly and courteous. This last couple (2) of times quality has been sub-par and the last delivery, the pizza was not the pizza I ordered. Called, they came back with the right pizza after about 30 minutes but asked for the original pizza they delivered back!! I paid over $25 for a large combo pizza, BEFORE delivery and taxes, and they wanted the original very cold pizza back??? Poor customer service IMO! read more
