Came for the lunch buffet ($15.99 for pizza, salad, and a drink), but it didn't live up to expectations. There were only 4 pizzas out--pepperoni, cheese, combo, and Hawaiian. The combo was nearly empty except for the cheese. Hawaiian was almost empty. The slices seemed like they'd been sitting a while under the lamp. They eventually brought out a fresh pepperoni because I asked, which was hot and good, but never replenished the combo. I didn't try the salad bar, but the ranch was solid. Soda options were disappointing--only diet Pepsi for a sugar-free option. For two people, we spent $35ish which felt high given the limited and lamp-warm selection. My husband said it used to be much better pre-COVID, which is the last time he came. Sadly, we probably won't be back for the buffet, next time we'd just order a whole pizza. read more

We used to come here all the time and were going to try even with the new ownership. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. We placed a pickup order and, upon arriving, were greeted very rudely. The employee immediately asked, "What do you want?" and maintained a poor attitude throughout the entire interaction. When we got home and opened our order a large pizza and wings we found multiple bones in the wings, which was concerning and unacceptable. My mother went back to address the issue. I hadn't even told her about the rude treatment we received, yet she experienced the same thing. She said the employee was immediately rude and dismissive toward her as well. It wasn't until my mother brought up both the issue with the wings and the employee's attitude that the employee suddenly started acting polite. We've been loyal customers for years, which made this experience even more disappointing. I placed a pizza order at 11:00 a.m. for a 12:00 p.m. delivery and provided clear delivery instructions, including asking the driver to call upon arrival. I also called again at 11:55 a.m. to repeat the instructions and requested that the driver call me if there was any confusion. 0 star rating. Ordered a pizza on line 12/21 just before 9:30 PM for pick up within 20 minutes. Website stated was open until 10 . Arrived at the restaurant about 15 minutes later and was told it was going to be another 15 minutes. They hadn't even started the order, there was no one else in the restaurant and no other orders pending, they were already getting ready to shut down. The woman who was working was rude to me when I asked why it was taking so long. The real reason for the 0 stars is for the food. We ordered a Mt. McKinley. Both my wife and had had food poisoning the next morning and through out the day. We initially thought we may have caught the flu bug going around, but once the food was through our systems we were fine. I think there maybe new owners as my past experiences at this location have been fine. They had an additional paper menu for a different name of the place taped to an easel at the counter. Wasn't mountain Mike's branded at all. I volunteer at a food kitchen and we have to go through formal training and testing for food handling. Stepping inside brought me back to my youth. The games were all from the 90's, and all costed 0.50¢ to a dollar. There was no carpet (probably for the better), cushion-ey booths, and random dark spooky spots for a 2yo. And that mountain mikes style pizza you know you're gonna get. Service was nice. Even had a salad bar (when was the last time I've seen a salad bar???). But this time, I'm old enough for beer! The best. And a nice big ol tv to watch playoff warriors. I have given this particular location an additional 3 tries, to really make sure that the service is no longer acceptable. All 3 tries were a fail. The last straw was waiting in line, which consisted of only one person, ME. I stood there for about 10 minutes without any acknowledgment, while there were 4 staff members scrambling around, trying to resolve an issue. The issue was that an elderly lady before me didn't get what she ordered. Same thing happened to me on the previous order, but the way. The moment I though I was about to be asked to pay for my to go order, the pizza deliver staff cut in front of me and proceeded to discuss something very important with the person at the front counter. I waited more. Finally, when the front counter was clear, I approached to pay. The person at the register (same gentleman as my previous orders) made me feel like I'm bothering him. I paid for the pizza and was in my way out. Or so I thought. Same person at the register told me that my debit transaction did not go through. I showed him the bank notification I received on my phone, stating otherwise. He mumbled something in his defense and asked me to pay again. I didn't feel like debating and paid again. I'll have to call my bank to dispute the transaction, I have no desire to come back and discuss it with staff at this location. I came her for the lunch buffet and it was terrible. They had at most one pizza out at a time and the place had about 10 people that were waiting for pizza. The pizza came out one at a time with about 10 minutes wait in between. And with a bunch of hungry people waiting for pizza, we just gave up and left. The lunch buffet wasn't a great deal and there is no reason you need to wait 10 or 15 minutes just to get a slice or two (tiny slices) then wait another 15 minutes. The salad bar was empty as well and we arrived at around 12:15pm. I believe this place is under new ownership as well and it has gone downhill. There is a much better lunch buffet option nearby that starts with a shape and they have at least 3 or 4 pizzas out at anytime and they constantly reload before the pizza plates are empty. The pizza was pretty good. The problem was with the service. There was a young man who waited on me at the counter and I got my pizza and a beer. Once my pizza was delivered to my table, I asked for another beer and I put a $20 bill on the table. An older gentleman possibly the owner? Brought my beer and took the 20 and I didn't have any change. So he sat down at another table and asked him where my change was. He advised me that I didn't have any change coming that I gave him a five dollar bill, And even though the beer was seven dollars, he didn't ask for more money. Strange. I didn't have a five in my wallet. I know it was a 20. A suggestion to everyone who could possibly find themselves in this situation is to take a picture of the bill that you give the server, and make sure you get the correct change. Had I done this? I would've called the Livermore police and shown them the picture and asked them to check his cash drawer. Just a word to the wise. read more

Looks like they are under new management now. We had a good experience when visiting on Christmas weekend. The guy taking the order allowed us to swap a couple of toppings off their Pizza from the menu. Also, they were courteous in accommodating our requests for side items (like dipping sauce). Slightly slow when taking the order and all but I wouldn't fault them for that because the front desk employee was still finding his way around as it was just a few days since they moved into the new branch. Had dinner here last night ... 70 plus for a large Everest, 12 piece wing and two pitchers of beer. Received 1st pitcher of flat bud light ($11 for flat beer) one sip knew it was flat. Told person at register asked if keg could be changed.. Retuned to our table, look over and two other employees are tasting a glass from tap, stating it's not flat, and talking crap that we had complained. Another gal came to table and told us they could replace it will coors light ... beer was some what better. Chicken wings were dry and very rubbery. No crisp what do ever on skin. This place needs so serious management help and staff training. I've lived several years just a few blocks away from this Mountain Mike's location. I've patronized the business because the pizza is good and it's very close to my home. I never had a negative interaction at this particular location but then again I normally order for pick up. My experience with the new ownership has been great. My pizzas has been made well and delicious. Friendly and professional service. It also looks like they've cleaned up and reorganized the interior. I think a good craft beer in bottles/cans and on tap may be a great addition. We love our beers in Livermore so it may boost business, but what do I know.
