I made a door dash order for mountain mikes pickup and had accidentally ordered to the Cameron park location instead of placerville. I called to try and change to placerville, a kind employee picked up and referred me to the DoorDash website to see if anything could be down there, they then called me back and told me there could be something they could do. she then put the manager on the phone and told me she could personally call the other location to make the pizza for me to pick up there even though they already prepared it at their location. They were super helpful and nice during the whole situation. read more

Came here tonight to redeem their "49ers Faithful To The Fans" promotion. My typical order is always a large pepperoni pizza. We dined in tonight. When we received our pizza, there were about 15 small pieces of pepperoni (when they advertise on their website via photos and descriptions that "there are mountains of pepperoni". There also was barely any cheese nor sauce. I brought the pizza back up to the counter to show them how unbelievably skimpy this pizza was! The young man working at the counter emphasized with us. He said the owner (a woman) specifically told the staff to cut down the toppings on the pizzas that were redeemed under this promotion. I've been going to this particular location for a very long time. Pizza was always good. Last night was a disaster. First off the young man at the counter was particularly rude, I felt like I was bothering him by coming in. Get home with the pizza and it had no sauce. I thought it was a mistake, call them, go back and get another pizza. It did have a hint of red sauce. It was pretty dry and I don't understand the change. It's still sitting in the counter. I received an entirely wrong order on my pizza...once I got home and noticed it was not what I ordered, I called the store and spoke with the owner/manager. The owner argued with me and said they made it exactly to my specifications. However when I looked at the receipt and the receipt was correct, but the pizza was NOT it upset the owner and she wanted to argue. She stated the only thing she could do would be to make me another pizza but I would have to drive down and return the pizza that I had and let them make a new one. Fast forward 5 years after giving this store two chances... Worse than before! Ordered take out at 5:55 pm and was asured the pizza would be delivered in 30-40 minutes at the latest. The pizza was not delivered until 7:08 pm! We eneded up having to buy other food and are out a lot of money for pizza we could not enjoy. When we couldn't wait for the pizza any longer we called to cancel the order and the person on the phone said we couldn't and to call corporate. So... emailed the corporate office and corresponded with Emma W. who appears to be the person responding here to Yelp comments. She would not refund our money, but sent a coupon for a free coupon. It's been three months and my son finally tried to use the coupon and was told by this store that they could not use the coupon. They did not recognize it and said it was for a different Moutain Mike's, not their store. WOW! I didn't realize I never posted the one star review above. Ended up also receiving a gift card for the mishap which was generous but warranted IMO. I am changing to 5 stars because while using the gift card and having a flawless ordering/pickup process we also had some of the best pizza EVER!!! We have been repeat customers of the Cameron location for the past year now. First time was a home delivery and the order came quickly and was scrumptious. We don't live too far away so each time afterwards we took the drive and picked up the pizza ourselves. The pizza seems inconsistent. Sometimes we score and receive a delicious pizza and sometimes it's just ok and not like the previous times ordered. I usually order half vegetarian for myself and half meat lovers or combination for hubby. Once the vegetarian pizza was the truly one of the BEST vegetarian pizza I ever enjoyed! Perfect crust and toppings perfectly scrumptious. The next time however was bland and nothing like the previously ordered time. Waiting time also varies as expected in any pizzeria. Sometimes we receive our order in a timely manner as noted when ordering is placed and sometimes we are waiting and waiting for our pizza to be ready for pickup to the point where we want to cancel the order and go elsewhere. Overall on average we appreciate the friendly welcome and overall experience from this location so will continue to choose this pizzeria. read more

Ordered two THIN CRUST pizzas, one small, one medium to pick up. Big mistake, not opening the boxes to examine the pizzas. Neither one was thin crust, and the small pizza had no sun-dried tomatoes, which was on the order. We ate less than half of the pizzas, they were doughy, and had thick edges. My wife called and explained the issue, but the manager refused to listen, and simply claimed the pizzas were correct. I returned the remains yesterday, and explained our position to the manager, who refused to admit, after seeing the obvious, there was an issue. We will not do business with this store again, opting for either Wally's or Papa Giannani's in the future. At the 75 minute mark I called into the store for an update and was told that the driver was in my area and should be there any minute, and was then promptly hung up on. 20 minutes later my food arrived. So for anyone keeping counting, that's 1 hour and 35 minutes, more than 50% longer than the quoted delivery time. My house is a 7 minute drive from this location, so it's not adding up. And this is on a Wednesday at 8pm, not exactly rush hour. We won't be back. read more
